Man orders pint in Benidorm and is shocked when he hears the price
Brits in search of an affordable holiday with a vibrant atmosphere are flocking to Benidorm, a resort where the nightlife sparkles and drinks flow until the sun comes up – making it an absolute magnet for stag dos.
But just how budget-friendly are the pints in this Spanish haven?
Graham White, also known as Benidorm Grumet among his almost 60K TikTok followers, couldn't believe his eyes when he discovered a pint going for less than a cuppa. At a certain spot, a humble brew costs £1.66, yet Graham found himself ordering a pint of beer for a mere 83p – a price that would have Brits doing a double-take back home, reports the Express.
The 48-year-old social media sensation took to TikTok to share his bargain-hunting adventure. In the video, Graham gives viewers a tour of the pub's ambience and introduces the staff and clientele before putting the barmaid on the spot: 'How much is it for a pint of Estrella?'

'One euro, one euro for a pint,' she declared, an offer too good for Graham to pass up. He then questioned the price of a brew and found out it was exactly twice the cost of a pint, at two euros.
While some of his fans were amazed, others doubted the authenticity of such a deal. 'People called me a liar and said there was no place in Benidorm where you can get a one-euro pint. Dubbed as the 'cheapest bar in Benidorm,' one patron couldn't hide their surprise at the bargain prices, stating it was 'double [the price] for a cup of tea.'
With the average pint in London costing a hefty £6.50 according to Finder.com, and the UK-wide average not far off at £5.44, holidaymakers might find themselves getting merry for a fraction of the price after touching down in sunny Benidorm. The post quickly sparked a flurry of comments, with some wittily asking, 'Why would you bother with anything else?' Another chimed in to praise Benidorm's economy, labelling it 'cheap as chips' compared to numerous other tourist traps.
The response didn't stop there – someone bemoaned, 'Love the price, pity I don't drink.' Another recent visitor couldn't wait to share, 'Went here yesterday, the food is ace as well.'
Further reactions included kudos like 'Bargain of the day' and another declaring, 'May as well get the pints in!'.

Parcel giant Evri delivers jobs to Bury after agreeing DHL tie-up
Evri is planning to hire 5,000 couriers in a fresh recruitment drive as the parcel giant takes on rivals after entering the business letter market. Many of the jobs will working from the company's base in Bury. The Yorkshire-based firm recently announced it was joining forces with DHL's UK ecommerce arm to form one of the country's biggest delivery firms. It said the new roles would bring its total self-employed courier network to 33,000, its highest number. The roles will be available throughout the UK, with a focus on regions including Plymouth, Bury, Hastings, Dover and Scarborough. Couriers who commit to working five or more days a week, including Saturday and Sunday, are also given the chance to opt in to its revamped "Evri Plus" scheme, which includes paid holiday and automatic enrolment into a pension scheme. Evri, which was previously part of the Hermes parcel group, was bought by US private equity firm Apollo for around £2.7 billion last year. It announced plans last month to merge with rival DHL's UK ecommerce business to create a combined company set to deliver more than one billion parcels and one billion letters each year. The deal means Evri will enter the UK business letter market for the first time, bolstering its competition to Royal Mail. Evri has spent £32 million on improving its customer service offering and has seen an improvement in its ratings over recent years, but has said there is "more to do" to improve with customers continuing to report delivery issues. Chief executive Martijn de Lange said: "We know that service, reliability and quality are critical factors for our clients and consumers, and so by expanding our self-employed network further, we remain focused on delivering in each of those areas." Brit Awards move to Manchester from next year
The Brit Awards are to be held in Manchester for the first time in the history of the ceremony, it has been announced. The biggest night of the UK music industry calendar has been held in London for the past four decades but will move to the Manchester Co-op Live arena in 2026 and 2027. The 2026 ceremony on Saturday February 28 will be broadcast exclusively on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player. Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester said: 'For the Brit Awards to move out of London is a massive coup for Greater Manchester. 'After 48 years, it is great that this prestigious global event is about to arrive in the UK capital of music and culture. 'Greater Manchester has an unparalleled music heritage known around the world, and this summer will play host to some of the biggest gigs on the planet. 'That was only made possible by our strong commitment to new talent and giving emerging artists the opportunities to make their name. 'We thank our friends at the BPI for choosing Manchester and we will pull out all the stops to show they made the right decision. 'Celebrating the Brit Awards right here in the home of 24 hour party people is the next chapter in its story and you can be sure that we will help them do it in style.' The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) is the trade body for the UK's music industry. Next year's Brit Awards will be the first of three years under the stewardship of Sony Music UK, which spearheaded the move to Manchester.
