In court for careless driving, speeding and drug possession
The four defendants were accused of offences including drug possession, speeding, careless driving, and keeping an untaxed vehicle.
Their cases were heard at Llanelli Magistrates' Court.

CALEB HEVEY, 21, of Margaret Street in Ammanford, was caught in possession of one gram of cocaine and a gram of herbal cannabis in Llandybie on February 15.
Hevey was further accused of obstructing a police officer in the execution of their duties on that same date.
It was also alleged that, having tested positive for cocaine, Hevey failed to show-up for an initial assessment on February 24 to establish whether he was dependent upon or had a propensity to misuse the Class A drug.
The defendant admitted all charges at Llanelli Magistrates' Court.
He was fined a total of £280, and must pay £85 in costs and a £112 surcharge.
Hevey also admitted two breaches of bail, after he failed to attend Llanelli Magistrates' Court on May 6 and April 11. He received no separate penalty for these breaches.
FRAZER SELVAGE, 42, of St Pauls Terrace in the Gorseinon area of Swansea, was clocked doing almost 100mph on the M4.
Selvage was driving a Ford Focus at 97mph at Pont Abraham on November 8.
He pleaded guilty, and was fined £369 at Llanelli Magistrates' Court.
Selvage had six points added to his licence, and must pay £110 in costs and a £148 surcharge.
CAROLINE BAYES, 42, of Heol Y Gelynen in Upper Brynamman, admitted careless driving after conducting an unsafe overtake of a cyclist.
Bayes was towing a horsebox with a Nissan Navara on the A483 from Llandybie towards the junction for Pentregwenlais on January 12.
She overtook a cyclist travelling in the same direction 'at an unsafe distance' and whilst a vehicle was approaching in the other direction.
The court heard that the defendant's standard of driving fell well below that of a reasonable and competent driver and that she was driving without due care and attention.
Bayes pleaded guilty, and was sentenced at Llanelli Magistrates' Court to an £80 fine, £110 in costs and a £32 surcharge.
She also had six points added to her licence.
MOIRA WILLIAMS, 45, of Heol Cae Ysgubor in Ammanford, was found guilty of keeping or using an untaxed car.
Williams was accused of using an unlicensed vehicle on Barry Road in Dinas Powys on November 20.
She pleaded not guilty, but was found guilty after the offence was proved in her absence at Llanelli Magistrates' Court.
Williams must pay a £220 fine, £140 in costs, and £42.50 in vehicle excise back duty.

Powys man praised for attitude to court order over assault
A POWYS man has been commended for his behaviour and attitude towards a court order he received for headbutting his ex-girlfriend. Aled Davies, 28, assaulted his partner of three years at their home during the early hours of December 23, 2023, when she angrily confronted him over suspicions he had been cheating, after he had returned home from a Christmas works do. Davies, of Brynawelon, Llangadfan, admitted assault, causing her actual bodily harm (ABH), which left her with a damaged nose. He was given a two-year community order which included 160 hours of unpaid work, 15 rehabilitation requirement days and attendance on what's called a 'Building Better Relationships' programme. After being sentenced in January 2024 he appeared again at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, June 17, where his community order was revoked on the grounds that good progress has been made. Probation officer Carl Atkinson said: 'The defendant has attended and engaged well and has received positive feedback. 'He completed all his unpaid work in a timely manner and he has completed his 15 rehabilitation days. 'There has been a referral to (drugs and alcohol charity) Kaleidoscope. He has been in full-time employment at his family's business and captains a local football team. 'He has been commended on his attitude and attended every session; he has also supported other group members. 'His case officer has applied to withdraw the order early due to good progress.' The defendant told the court: 'I found it to be beneficial, lesson learned.'

Drugs runner caught delivering £2,000-worth of cannabis to addresses around Cardiff Shakr Hamad, 30, was stopped twice by police after they could smell cannabis emanating from his car Shakr Hamad had been sent a list of postcodes by his dealer (Image: South Wales Police ) A drug runner who was found in possession of more than £2,000 worth of cannabis had been sent a list of postcodes by his dealer to deliver to. He was released on bail following his initial arrest but was caught delivering cannabis again almost a year later. Shakr Hamad, 30, was stopped by police driving a Ford Focus in Cardiff on April 10 last year after they could smell cannabis emanating from his car. He also appeared to be under the influence and tested positive for cannabis. A sentencing hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Thursday heard a carrier bag was found and when searched it was found to contain eight zip lock bags containing cannabis, worth up to £400 in total. Also found in the car was £440 in cash and an iPhone which revealed the defendant had been sent a number of postcodes in quick succession. Prosecutor Sol Hartley said Hamad was working as a drugs runner for an organised crime group who was directed to deliver cannabis to various addresses in Cardiff. The defendant was released on bail but on March 15 this year he was stopped by police in Llansannor Way, Butetown, after he was seen interacting with a man from inside his BMW. Article continues below The vehicle was searched and a black rucksack was found to contain 30 snap bags of cannabis worth up to £1,700, £525 in cash and a knuckleduster. His phone was seized and Hamad was found to be a member of a Whats App group with several other people who were working as drugs runners. During his police interview, the defendant became agitated and began punching himself in the head. Hamad, of Rhymney Street, Cathays, later pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply class B drugs, possession of criminal property, possession of an offensive weapon and driving whilst disqualified. The court heard he has one previous conviction for motoring offences, for which he was disqualified from driving. In mitigation, Harry Baker said his client had made an asylum application to remain in the UK, which had been unsuccessful, but he has since made another application. Article continues below Judge Paul Hobson sentenced Hamad to 18 months imprisonment and disqualified him from driving for 18 months. The judge told the defendant steps may be taken to deport him, but this decision would be made by the Home Office.
