As of late, Dakota Johnson has become social media's beloved queen of deadpan humour, thanks to her effortlessly witty lines that spark chaotic (and hilarious) interview moments. But her effortless charm goes beyond quick comebacks. Her street style and red carpet looks are always classic and elegant, and with Kate Young as her stylist, that comes as no surprise. So, naturally, when Johnson arrived on the set of her latest rom-com, Materialists , we expected show-stopping outfits - and she certainly delivered. The best part? Most of her looks were made up of brands you already know and love.
In Materialists , Johnson stars as Lucy, a matchmaker caught in a toxic love triangle with John (Chris Evans) and Harry (Pedro Pascal). Although the film has already been released in the U.S, it won't be in cinemas in the UK until 16th August - but that hasn't stopped us from already spotting the best outfits worn by Johnson. Whether we've seen them via set photos or in the trailer, her outfits are already tantalising the internet, with fans eager to know where Johnson's uncomplicated (but exceptionally chic) looks are from, including that particular floral Reformation dress.
While we're used to seeing Johnson in looks from Gucci, Saint Laurent and Ferragamo, you'll be relieved to know that the high street is where most of her stellar selection of outfits come from, including Reformation, Dôen and adidas. There's excellent news for anyone looking to replicate her looks, too, because plenty of these pieces are, somehow, still in stock.
We've rounded up all her favourite looks for you to shop below. But hurry - we suspect they'll sell out, even before Materialists reaches our screens.
This Proenza Schouler dress has already generated much conversation online since the film came out in the US. It's typical of Johnson's style in the film: simple, chic and understated. She wears it with Bottega Veneta's Silver Knot Heel Sandals. 1.

In a more dressed-down scene, Johnson wears the Reformation Nadira dress with a grey hoodie tied around her waist and a classic pair of Converse. 3.

Another floral choice, this time a Dôen top paired with straight leg blue jeans and a pair of adidas Gazelles in green. 5.
Dôen, Alona Top
Sensing a pattern? Dôen's floral dress with a cascading ruffle neckline might just be our favourite look so far. 6.

Nailing the effortless off-duty vibe, Johnson's cool-girl baseball cap combined with a crisp white tee and a shoulder-wrapped red knit is great - and almost every item is available to shop on the high street. 8.

Samba OG Sneakers
There's nothing more city-chic than a pinstripe. In this scene, Johnson wears a two piece with a white satin blouse underneath, but the real show stopper here are the Paris, Texas boots. Her skirt and blazer are both out of stock, but you can shop very similar alternatives from Nobody's Child and Abercrombie and Fitch. 11.

While perhaps a touch too warm for the current balmy weather, Johnson was spotted filming an outdoor scene in a timeless camel trench coat. Though her outerwear may lean on the luxe side, her choice of footwear and accessories are refreshingly accessible - she wore a pair of classic Nike Daybreaks (now out of stock) and a Ralph Lauren baseball cap. 14.
Leset Jane, Belted Double-Breasted Wool-Blend Trench 15.
Ralph Lauren, Baseball Cap
Looking incredibly chic, Johnson's character wore a sheer Simkhai top while walking the streets of New York City. Miraculously, her exact top is still available to shop, which is great news for anyone looking for a sultry black top for the summer. The best part? You can shop her Gucci sunglasses and her cool-girl Nike Cortez trainers, too. 16.

Roman summer dress 'so comfortable' shoppers 'can't resist' buying all colours
The Roman Cotton Broderie Tiered Smock Dress is available in sizes 10 to 20 and comes in four colours - black, khaki, turquoise and pink. Roman shoppers are going wild for a dress that's not only enhancing their comfort and confidence but also nailing this season's broderie trend. The retailer's Cotton Broderie Tiered Smock Dress is priced at £40, but with the current discount already applied, fashion fans can snag it for just £30, saving them 25%. Customers have a choice of four stylish colours - classic black and khaki, as well as eye-catching turquoise and pink for those looking to add a splash of colour to their wardrobe. Available in sizes 10 to 20, this adaptable frock is ideal for teaming up with sandals during the heatwave. Made from 100 per cent breathable cotton, the dress is crafted to keep the wearer cool. It boasts three quarter length sleeves and a comfy smock style, reports the Manchester Evening News. And customers needn't worry about the smock shape being unflattering, as reviews confirm it has a 'lovely shape' and is 'very flattering'. It's even been hailed as a 'fabulous dress for holidays', with additional compliments for being 'lined'. A glowing five-star review states: "Such a pretty feminine little dress: perfect for hiding lumps and bumps." Another happy customer raved about the pink version, declaring: "Fabulous colour and hides all your bumps." Shop the Roman dress Product Description Some customers have said they have bought several colours to round out their collection. One delighted shopper said: "Love love love these dresses, so pretty and comfortable to wear, true to size, I now own five of these in different, colours can't resist them." A newcomer to Roman was so thrilled with their buy that they headed straight back to the site for additional purchases. They said: "Really lovely dress, bought as a last minute extra dress for long trip and wore it over and over again, never bought from Roman before but just ordered another couple of dresses on the strength of this purchase." But one buyer knocked off a star from their rating as they felt the frock was too short. They wrote: "Nice style dress, looks nice with the ties left loose, however doesn't sit right on the neck if tied. Nice shade of Khaki. I would prefer a few inches longer though at 5ft 1ins it sits on my knees." For shoppers hunting for a lengthier smock frock with comparable styling, Nobody's Child stocks the Green Broderie Anglaise Tiered Lee Midi Dress, presently slashed by 50% to £48 from £95. Another alternative can be found at Debenhams - the Warehouse Broderie Drawstring Waist Midi Dress, coming in at £65. Buyers have voiced their adoration for the garment, revealing they 'got so many compliments' and dubbing it the 'best summer dress out there'. Yet it's been recommended that prospective purchasers 'should go down a size'. One critic praised the Roman frock 's adaptability, emphasising its year-round wearability. The review gushes: "Fab dress, true to size. I love it as it doesn't cling and its a good length. It's lined too so will go through the seasons with sandals then leggings and boots." This makes the bargain price of £30 even more tempting, given the array of occasions you can don this number. If you're prioritising summer style, this could well be the most adaptable addition to your wardrobe this season. Another thrilled shopper shared: "Love it put away for my holidays it's nice and cool really nice length looks great with my wedge sandals can't wait to wear it." Meanwhile, another customer enthused: "I have already bought this dress in black and loved it so much I wanted it in an another colourway."

This Is The Dôen Blouse All the Celebs Are Wearing This Summer - And It's Still In Stock
Katie Holmes has a talent for making laid-back pieces look quietly elevated and her latest outfit on the set of Happy Hours is a reminder of just how effortless summer outfits can be. Filming alongside Joshua Jackson in New York's Washington Square Park, she wore Dôen's Poppy Traveller top, a relaxed vest with subtle lace and a v-neckline. The styling was classic Holmes: unfussy and grounded. She paired the soft poppy blouse with relaxed jeans, ballet flats (very much back in fashion), and a well-worn Chloé Paddington bag the early 2000s It bag that's having a nostalgic second life. Dôen isn't a flashy label. But it's one that consistently pops up in well-dressed celebrity wardrobes. Taylor Swift was photographed wearing the exact same top back in May while out with Travis Kelce, pairing it with the matching skirt. Holmes' version feels more thrown-on less curated, more lived-in. The brand has long been favoured by the kind of women who know what they like - from Selena Gomez to Kaia Gerber - and it's easy to see the appeal. Dôen blends vintage shapes with an easy femininity that feels soft, not saccharine. Recently film sets have been a style-watching zone (just look at The Devil Wears Prada 2) , and Holmes is giving us off-duty inspiration in real time too. Her take on the Dôen blouse isn't trying too hard. It doesn't need to. It's the kind of piece that works with whatever you've already got - jeans, flats, an old bag and still manages to feel pulled together. Sometimes that's all you need: one really good blouse. 1. Jennifer Lopez beams after shopping for TWO HOURS in Warsaw as she spends thousands of dollars on luxury items
Jennifer Lopez enjoyed retail therapy while taking advantage of some free time during her travels abroad. The hitmaker, 56, who suffered a wardrobe malfunction during her Friday night show in Warsaw, went on a shopping spree the next day. The I'm Real artist brought her star power, showcasing her dancer's leg while stepping out in a vibrant red mini-dress with capped sleeves and a belted A-line skirt. The Glamour Woman of the Year award winner wore red kitten heels embellished with gold grommets, and carried a little red Valentino purse. Her long highlighted locks were styled straight, and she wore natural looking makeup with a neutral lip behind her aviator sunglasses. JLo, who celebrate her 56th birthday on Thursday, smiled at fans as she headed inside the luxury goods store Vitak, perhaps to buy herself a present. According to a snap in the store's Instagram Stories, she posed for a photo while trying on a red Bottega Veneta coat. The Unstoppable star spent about two hours in the store, and when it came time to pay for her various purchases, she pulled out what appeared to be a black American Express credit card. If the large bags members of her security team carried out to their waiting SUV, the Feel the Light singer will have to make some more room in her suitcases for her new purchases. After working up an appetite at the store, Lopez and some of her crew went to lunch at the Raffles Hotel. While her team enjoyed a variety of drinks, the Delola founder, who says she enjoys an occasional cocktail, was seen sipping out of her own bedazzled water bottle with JLo written on it. According to a May 2024 article in Women's Health, the busy singer keeps her energy up by drinking a minimum of seven glasses of water a day. She also eats healthfully, choosing organic fruits and vegetables along with lean proteins such and poultry, fish, eggs and grass-fed beef. Lopez showed some of that energy, and her style, sharing a video clip of her soundcheck in Warsaw to get fans excited for Tuesday night's show in Abu Dhabi. If the large bags members of her security team carried out to their waiting SUV, the Feel the Light singer will have to make some more room in her suitcases for her new purchases 'Let's get ready to Dance Again Abu Dhabi ✨' she wrote next to the clip. The ex of Marc Anthony and Alex Rodriguez was looking chic in a cream toned dress with a V-neck, three-quarter length sleeves and a pleated skirt. The Atlas actress wore a pair of brown, high-heel Roman sandals and her hair was styled straight. She was glammed up with plenty of dramatic makeup. 'Woohoo go get 'em! You are knocking it out of the park with this tour Jen ❤️' wrote one fan, expressing their excitement. Another stated bluntly, 'We are so ready for the show✨ UP ALL NIGHT!' Lopez's tour is nearing its end and it includes some locations she's never performed in before. After the performance in Abu Dhabi, where she performed earlier this year, she will travel to Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt for the first time. Other new cities include Yerevan, Armenia; Tashkent, Uzbekistan; and Almaty, Kazakhstan, where she will rap up the tour on August 10. Toward the end of the year she will sing in Las Vegas where she used to have a residency.
