Scott Mills makes daring promise to UK Eurovision Act
Scott Mills has agreed to doing something special to commemorate this year's Eurovision Song Contest, that is if the UK's entry places in the top five.
Radio DJ Scott Mills has made quite the promise if the UK reach the top 5 of the Eurovision Song Contest this year.
Scott Mills is back again presenting this year's Eurovision Song Contest semi finals with his co-host Rylan Clark in Basel, Switzerland. Although, this time he has made a very daring promise to this year's UK entry.
This year's act Remember Monday, are a country pop girl group comprising of best friends Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull, and Charlotte Steele who met whilst in sixth form. They will be representing the United Kingdom in Switzerland with their song What The Hell Just Happened?
The radio DJ has said that if the band place within the top five in the grand final on Saturday May 17, they will all get matching tattoos. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter .
Speaking to the BBC Scott said: 'We'll be cheering on Remember Monday… who I've already agreed to get matching tattoos with if they place in the Top 5 in the Final!"
The UK's chances of winning have seen a recent surge, although it seems like Scott won't have to worry about getting some new ink any time soon as Remember Monday is currently forecasted to secure the 13th spot, boasting odds of 66/1 to win. This is an entire five spots ahead of last year's UK placing in the competition, as Olly Alexander who represented the UK in 2024 finished 18th.

Scott added his excitement to be returning to the competition. He said: "I cannot wait to be back in the commentary booth with Rylan, who will no doubt have perfected every dance routine for all 37 countries.
"I'm so excited to be taking my Breakfast Show international as we broadcast from the heart of the contest in Basel for the whole week. Eurovision is a true celebration of diversity and I love sharing that with everyone - to do that for the first time on the UK's biggest Breakfast Show is a dream!'
The band originally confirmed their participation in Eurovision during an appearance on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds. On the show they said: "We feel like we are on another planet." Scott told them: "You are on planet Eurovision now."
When it was announced they would be representing the UK they said: 'What The Hell Just Happened is exactly how we're feeling right now! It's all very surreal; our friendship goes so far back, and we definitely never imagined that we'd be doing anything like this.
"When you're a kid and people ask you what you want to be when you grow up, an absolute classic is 'I wanna be a pop star', so the fact that we're getting the chance to live that dream as three best friends is just wild.
"We're going to be the first girlband to represent the UK since 1999, which feels like such a crazy honour. We're going to bring loads of fun, energy and hopefully do something that you won't have seen before on the Eurovision stage.
"We honestly can't wait to experience this with all of the other incredible artists from around the world, and hopefully make everyone back at home feel proud! This is really the music World Cup and we'll do our best to bring it home!' Read more here.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will be hosted at St. Jakobshalle, Basel on Saturday, May 17. The semi-finals will be aired live on Tuesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 15, determining who will perform in the grand final.
UK viewers can catch all three shows live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, or alternatively, listen live on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.

Will Ferrell has said he is 'excited' to bring a musical version of the Eurovision Song Contest to Broadway. The American actor, 57, is basing the project on his Netflix movie, Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga, which he starred in opposite Canadian actress Rachel McAdams and British actor Dan Stevens. Speaking on the BBC show Sounds of the 60s with Tony Blackburn, he said: 'When my wife knew that she had terminal cancer, I was with her for the last 10 days in hospital in the room with her. She said, 'Look I gotta leave, but you don't fall with me. I'm going down, I know, there's nothing I can do about it but don't you do that.' 'She told me, 'Don't you fall with me, you've got to keep going, you've got to get on stage. You've still got songs to sing and think of me when you do it'.' The first time their titles were formally announced was after Lilibet's christening in March 2023. Due to the reported hold-up in their British passports, it is said that Harry started to explore the possibility of changing his family surname to Spencer in a nod to his late mother, Princess Diana. And Jennie added: "I think Harry has always been more Spencer than Windsor, so if he was ever going to change his name, it would be to Spencer. "But this would be a final nail in the coffin of his relationship with his father and his brother. It would amount to a public declaration that he no longer saw himself as part of the royal family." There has been continued controversy over the Sussexes' HRH titles since the pair quit their royal roles five years ago. As part of their Megxit negotiations with the Palace, Meghan and the Duke of Sussex agreed to stop using 'Her Royal Highness' and 'His Royal Highness' at the end of March 2020. They still retain the styles, with Harry having had his since birth, but they are essentially held in abeyance. However, earlier this year, it emerged Meghan had used her HRH style on a gift basket sent to make-up entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima last year, with a monogrammed card reading: 'With Compliments of HRH The Duchess of Sussex'. Kern Lima showed an image of the present in footage of her podcast interview with Meghan. It contained a jar of Meghan's jam which she has started selling as part of her As Ever lifestyle business brand. A source described the basket as a 'personal gift'. The duchess's representatives denied that the couple used them, but a source later said that the Sussexes did not use HRH publicly but retained the style, and did not use it for commercial purposes.
