Singer Justin Bieber's recent pictures with Hailey Bieber didn't go down too well with social media users. While his fans praised his romantic outing, others debated whether it was one of his other attempts at cultural appropriation.Justin posted a few photos from his Italy holiday with Hailey. In one of the pictures, the Canadian singer's face is shown in a dark background. While reacting to the same, an X user commented, "Trying his ABSOLUTE hardest to look black." Another user responded to the comment and wrote, "How is he trying to look black!?" A fan while defending Justin, commented, "It genuinely looks like he wasn't even ready for the picture, didn't know she was taking it."

This is not the first time the singer has faced outrage over cultural appropriation. Justin faced criticism in 2019 for sporting dreadlocks, as reported by USA Today. The singer later clarified by stating that as a Canadian he was just experimenting with his look.The singer during one of his stage shows in Mexico, in 2022, spoke against "racial injustice," according to Marca.
