George Harrison's Beatles-era photos to be released in new book The Third Eye
Harrison's widow, Olivia Harrison, compiled and curated the book, which covers the years 1963-69 and includes photos of The Beatles everywhere from their native Liverpool to India to Shea Stadium.

'I want to show people, from George's unique photographic perspective during the Beatles' early years, the moments when the whole of your life is ahead of you with unknowable possibilities,' Olivia Harrison said of her late husband, who died in 2001, in a statement released by Random House.
'His images in The Third Eye capture that spirit.'
The Harrison book features essays by Olivia Harrison and by two celebrated literary authors: Irish novelist Colm Toibin, a former chancellor of the University of Liverpool, wrote the introduction, and American short story writer George Saunders contributed an epilogue.
The Third Eye also includes George Harrison's words alongside his pictures.
Fellow Beatles Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Ringo Starr have also released photo books.
Sir Ringo's Photograph, also the title of a hit song written by Sir Ringo and Harrison, came out in 2015.
In 2023, Sir Paul published 1964: Eyes Of The Storm.

US comedy-drama Shameless originally premiered in 2011, based on Paul Abbott's British programme of the same title. The American adaptation, located in Chicago's South Side, Illinois, lasted for 11 seasons before concluding in 2021. The show centres on the troubled Gallagher clan, headed by Frank, a negligent alcoholic dad to six children. Whilst he wastes his days jobless, getting intoxicated and high, his offspring Fiona, Phillip, Ian, Debbie, Carl and Liam battle to earn money, resorting to cons, relationships and criminal activity to get by. Despite tackling gritty themes including serious problems and family dysfunction, supporters have labelled it "hilariously genius" and have started rewatching the programme once more. The cast features William H Macy as Frank, plus Emmy Rossum, Jeremy Allen White, Cameron Monaghan, Ethan Cutkosky and Emma Kenney, reports the Express. The programme boasts an average Rotten Tomatoes score of 82%, with multiple seasons achieving flawless ratings individually. One viewer gushed: "I can talk about this show 24/7 when I started the first episode nothing could stop me for watching it I stayed up all night all day infront of my laptop watching this masterpiece." Another commented: "Seriously Shameless is the best show I have ever watched." After the local police drew a blank, Robinson's niece Lehanne took it upon herself to hunt her aunt's killer remotely. She located the suspect online and began a long-distance relationship with Andrea Imbayarwo, who had, by this time, fled the country. Her actions led to his arrest and conviction. Harrowing but also a remarkable story of crime and punishment in the social media age. Its latest documentary explores the 2019 Storm Area 51 Facebook event, which was started by Matty Roberts as a joke but soon became dangerously real. The nominal idea was to see if anyone fancied uncovering the truth about alien lifeforms held in the US airforce facility Area 51. However, by the time the event had attracted the (virtual) attention of more than three million people, Roberts realised he'd created a monster he could no longer control. The devastating blow launches a flurry of gags about menopause, midlife crises and recovering your dating mojo, as Leanne – with her sister Carol (Kristen Johnston) – looks to move on. It has hysterical studio audience reactions and hits its formulaic comic beats with confidence. Blu stuttered as he attempted to get Toni to listen to his point before she told him she "didn't care" about the conversation and how he knew exactly what he was doing. As they continued to argue in circles, Toni stood up and walked away before Blu also got up and stormed off. He then branded Toni a "weirdo" in a harsh comment before going to fill his co-stars in on their frosty interaction.
