Liz Koravos, managing director of Arches London Bridge, added: 'Arches London Bridge is delighted to host this opulent journey through the life and career of Gianni Versace. As a genius of his time, it's fascinating to see these incredible collections assembled under the curved arches of the venue. Gianni Versace ties to so much in modern culture and his legacy is enduring, a mark of a talented designer. Versace was a pioneer in collaborative art, something that is commonplace these days.
'The crossover between fashion, music, pop culture, fine art, antiquities, sculpture and the rise of the supermodel is all encapsulated in his work. The biggest collection of vintage Versace to ever visit the UK will give visitors a kaleidoscopic view of the 90's. It's not to be missed.' You can buy Princess Diana's iconic outfits at a Beverly Hills live auction this month
Along with being the People's Princess and a devoted humanitarian, Diana, Princess of Wales was a fashion icon for the ages. The late, great royal was as known for her fabulous formal and enviable jewel collection as she was for her casual-cool street looks: think Harvard crewnecks over athleisure bike shorts and oversized menswear blazers with riding boots and baseball caps. Lady Di has a closet that most people would pay good money for—and you can do just that as the largest live auction of the princess's clothes comes to Beverly Hills later this month. Entitled " Princess Diana's Style & A Royal Collection," the auction will take place on Thursday, June 26 at The Peninsula Beverly Hills beginning at 10am PDT in person, as well as online. Hosted by Julien's Auctions, the event will feature 300 garments and artifacts from the beloved public figure, inviting bidders "to step beyond the palace gates and experience a more intimate perspective of royal life—to understand who they were, what they cherished, and how they hoped to be seen." Along with dresses (taffeta Elizabeth Emmanuel evening gowns, lilac Versace skirt suits), shoes (custom Jimmy Choos, two-tone Chanel pumps), accessories (lambskin Dior handbags, Prada leather totes) and more, the sale will also feature items once worn by Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen Mother, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, and other members of the royal family. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Julien's Auctions (@juliens_auctions) It's not the first time that items from Princess Diana's wardrobe have been put up for auction in the greater Los Angeles area—a velvet Jacques Azagury dress worn by Lady Di was sold at a 2023 Julie's Auctions event in Hollywood for a whopping $1,143,000, as reported by CBS News. It goes without saying that the sartorial selections at this month's auction will likely pull in similarly hefty prices: A Bellville Sassoon floral day dress worn by Diana Spencer in the late '80s and early '90s currently has a potential selling price of $200,000 to $300,000 on the auction site. The proceeds do go to a good cause, though, with a portion of the money raised benefitting Muscular Dystrophy UK, an organization that funds research, provides care and advocates for those living with the muscle-weakening disease.

Boots' 'incredible' £86 aftershave now 50% cheaper for Father's Day
Boots shoppers can save on a designer aftershave that's described as 'an intense and spicy' scent Boots is selling an "incredible" designer aftershave for less than half price ahead of Father's Day. The beauty giant has discounted BOSS Bottled Night Eau de Toilette 100ml from £86 to £40.50. The online-only deal saves shoppers over £45 on the popular scent. With an average rating of 4.3 out of five, reviewers love the "wonderful blend of musky notes." However, not everyone was enamoured by the scent, with others suggesting it smells "too heavy" and "needs to be toned down a bit." Shoppers might prefer Armani Stronger With You Intensely 150ml, on sale for £69 at Look Fantastic. Elsewhere, Versace's Dylan Blue Eau de Toilette Spray 100ml is on sale for £38.99 at The Perfume Shop. Fragrance fans might also like Jo Malone London's Cypress & Grapevine Cologne Intense (9ml), which is £24 from Harrods. Boots' product description for the BOSS Bottled Night Eau de Toilette says: "BOSS Bottled Night is destined to become the secret weapon in the BOSS man's armoury of seduction, instilling him with the same compelling presence that underpins his success by day. "A unique composition between elegance and seduction. An intense and spicy aftershave for men with a purposeful, edgy, masculine character. Woods are key in the scent: BOSS Bottled Night introduces a scent replica of a rich & exotic new wood, Louro Amarelo." The aftershave has over 400 five-star reviews. One happy shopper said: "This perfume is amazing. I actually bought it for my husband for our anniversary first then ended up buying it for my dad too as he loved the fragrance." A customer added: "Great value for money, a perfect gift! The smell is delicious." However, someone else replied: "My husband tried the Hugo Boss Night, I was not a fan. It was too heavy and overpowering for me. He said it was okay, but he wouldn't wear this daily." A similar response read: "My husband actually tried this fragrance, and he did not care for it at all! The scent was much too strong and heavy for him." A different shopper said: "Spray too much and you will be saying 'goodnight'. I expected more from hugo boss... but not this much! Too pungent and needs to be toned down a bit. My husband sprayed himself once and boy it was way too much!" An unhappy customer added: "My wife got me this perfume as a gift. It smells nice and the price is good, but the scent doesn't last long. It typically lasts for around three hours. I suggest not spending your hard-earned money on something that doesn't have long-lasting scent. Don't buy it." But another wrote: "It's incredible! I don't think there has been a scent from Hugo Boss that I don't like. Hugo Boss Night is a sensual, exciting night out type of scent! Have your guy wear this to excite your senses and make you want to hug him more!!!!" Someone else praised: "A masculine fragrance that lasts the whole night! Boss Bottled Night is an element but intense and spicy scent full of seduction and character. A wonderful blend of musky notes makes this a perfect choice for those nights on the town or a romantic evening for two. A real head all the right reasons. Boss Bottled Night is my secret weapon and should be yours too!"
