Love In Vietnam Makers Drop Amaal And Armaan Malik's First Song After Family Rift

News183 days ago
Armaan Malik celebrates his birthday with the release of "Bade Din Huye" from Love in Vietnam, his first collaboration with brother Amaal after reports of alleged rift.
Armaan Malik is celebrating his birthday today, and on this special day, the singer gave his fans an amazing surprise with the makers dropping a mesmerising love ballad titled Bade Din Huye from Love in Vietnam, sung by the singer and starring Shantanu Maheshwari and Avneet Kaur in pivotal roles. This song became even more special as it marks Armaan's first collaboration with brother Amaal after he announced breaking ties with the family.
The romantic saga is the first-ever India-Vietnamese collaboration in Hindi cinema and stars the sensational beauty from Southeast Asia — Kha Ngan. The song marvellously captivates the essence and innocence of true love. Shot across the picturesque locations of Vietnam, this beautiful song, written by Rashmi Virag, is an absolutely unmissable piece of melody.
Talking about the track, Armaan Malik said, 'Bade Din Huye is such a soothing track that has been beautifully composed by my brother Amaal. The song is about the innocent, uncomplicated love that binds two individuals. This song is very special for me, as after a long time I had the opportunity to collaborate with my brother for this melodious masterpiece."
Acclaimed composer Amaal Malik shared, 'Romance is a very beautiful feeling, and it had to be brought right in this track. Armaan and I had not collaborated for long, and we really wanted to bring something that highlights true love in the most melodious way — and here it is."
Bade Din Huye is sung by Armaan Malik, composed by Amaal Malik, and produced by DRJ Records.
Earlier, in an interview with The Hindustan Times, the singer shared that nothing has changed between him and Amaal. 'Our bond is and will always be the same. I know my relationship with my brother, and we are pretty tight. I am the kind of person who doesn't care about what people think or what social media users think. All I care about is what my brother and I think, and we are pretty sorted. Nothing can ever change between us," he said, shutting down rumours of any strain.
The brothers have had a successful history of musical collaborations. Their past projects include popular tracks like Buddhu Sa Mann, Ghar Se Nikalte Hi, Jaan Hai Meri, among others.

At Mr Ong in Park Hyatt, try mee goreng, mantou buns and bean curd cheesecake

In the plush calmness of a luxury hotel, replicating the energy of a hawker stall from Singapore might seem challenging, but not impossible. Mr Ong - The Flavours of Singapore by Park Hyatt has orderly outdoor seating by a serene lily pond, but also has an open kitchen where the chefs are hard at work over flaming woks, grills and a bar, and upbeat music playing over speakers. While the restaurant threw open its doors post-pandemic with a menu focussed on Singaporean cuisine, a menu refresh less than a month ago means there is now a bevy of dishes from Singaporean, Malaysian, Vietnamese and Indonesian cuisine. 'While we began with the intent of bringing authentic Singaporean flavours to Chennai, the menu now focusses on South-East Asian cuisine. Our vision was to replicate a hawker-stall style atmosphere and menu here; something rare in a luxury hotel setting,' says Pragit Parameswaran, marketing communications manager, Park Hyatt, Chennai Chef Balaji Natarajan says there is much he is excited about in their new menu. 'We have mushroom stuffed mantou buns shaped like a mushroom, a delicate lace turmeric roti jala that is served with a chicken or a pumpkin curry, and a bean curd cheesecake made of silken tofu and cream cheese,' he says. 'We use a lot of fresh turmeric, both large chillies as well as the smaller bird's eye chillies, as well as ingredients native to these regions including torch ginger flowers we get from Malaysia in our cooking,' he explains. We begin our meal with the satay ayam, and dip our well marinated chicken skewers into some thick and sweet peanut sauce. Warm bowls of comforting malacca laksa follow, with noodles, chicken pieces, prawns and a jammy egg drenched in a coconutty soup. The mushroom shaped pillowy cendawan baos are generously stuffed with minced mushrooms tossed in chilli oil. For the main course, we opt for a true hawker favourite, greasy and flavourful mee goreng or wok tossed noodles that come packed with vegetables and mushrooms. The caramel banana crunchy peanut ice cream for dessert comes with an array of fixings, from honey brittle and nuts to a caramel sauce you can drizzle on your scoop. As diners get to experience the new menu, there are more popups in store at Mr Ong, as well as a sober bar being planned, to function alongside its regular bar for the non-drinkers to have a good variety of options as well. A selection of dishes from Mr Ong's new menu will also feature as a part of a set menu to be made available during Singa60, from August 1 to 10. Organized by Hindu Tamil Thisai in collaboration with The Hindu and Business Line, Singa60 offers a rich tapestry of events showcasing vibrant partnerships between India and Singapore through a curated program centered on Commerce, Culture, and Cuisine. The set menu at Mr Ong for Singa60 is priced at ₹3,000 plus taxes for a non-vegetarian meal and ₹2,600 for a vegetarian meal. Mr Ong is at Park Hyatt, Velachery Road, Guindy.

On social media, fans have been hailing the electrifying chemistry between Salman and Jacqueline and the film's emotional core. Amidst all the high-octane action and grand drama, it was the playful, heartfelt moments between Devi and Shaina that truly struck a chord with the audience. Jacqueline took to Instagram and reshared moments from the film featuring Salman. In one of the pictures, Jacqueline gently holds Salman's arm, marking a memorable still from the film. Another was a video of Bollywood's Bhaijaan dancing his heart out. Jacqueline shared the glimpses with multiple red heart emojis. Take a look: Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the menacing Shiv Gajra Among his many unforgettable characters, Nawazuddin's portrayal of Shiv Gajra in Kick remains one of the most iconic. Starring alongside Salman Khan, Nawaz played the cold-blooded antagonist that left audiences spellbound. From spine-chilling dialogues to that unforgettable gun-click moment, every move he made on screen was a masterclass in menace. His complete transformation into Shiv Gajra – and the way he made evil feel both terrifying and magnetic – cemented the character as one of Bollywood's most iconic villains. As the film marks its anniversary today, even 11 years later, fans continue to celebrate the performance that redefined villainy in Hindi cinema. Talking about the love he received and how the role impacted his journey as an actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui reflected with heartfelt gratitude. He said, 'Main bahut shukarguzar hoon for the love and appreciation that I had received for my role as Shiv Gajra. Yeh, ek aisa role tha jisne meri career mein ek naye rang bhar diya tha. It's a testament to how powerful cinema can be. Dil se shukriya sabko." What are some of the key scenes from Kick? In a film brimming with larger-than-life moments, one scene from Kick that quietly shines is when Devi (Salman) and Shaina (Jacqueline) ride a bullet cart to the temple. There's no dramatic confrontation – just playful glances, a breezy exchange, and an unspoken warmth that speaks louder than words. Another emotionally charged scene unfolds when Shaina unexpectedly crosses paths with Devi once more. But he's changed – aloof, distant, and pretending not to know her. Jacqueline's bewildered heartbreak, paired with Salman's cryptic smirk, gives the moment a bittersweet depth, layered with unspoken emotions, nostalgia, and unresolved love. In fact, their first meeting on the train, meanwhile, is pure rom-com magic. Salman's laid-back charisma meets Jacqueline's graceful sass, sparking a natural, witty chemistry that's instantly captivating. Directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, Kick featured Salman Khan as the thrill-seeking Devil, Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the menacing Shiv Gajra, Randeep Hooda as a determined cop, and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film became a blockbuster, loved for its action and performances. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive. Actor Tara Sutaria dazzles in ivory gold corset gown at India Couture Week 2025

Agency: PTI New Delhi, Jul 25 (PTI) Actor Tara Sutaria turned showstopper for designer Isha Jajodia as she presented her collection 'Whispers of Love to Myself" at the Hyundai FDCI India Couture Week here. Jajodia's showcase for her label Roseroom explored girlish charm in a delicate and unique way on the second day of the fashion gala at Taj Palace hotel on Thursday evening. Sutaria, known for movies such as 'Student of the Year 2", 'Marjaavaan" and 'Ek Villain Returns", walked the ramp on the beats of the popular jazz track 'L-O-V-E" by American singer Nat King Cole. The showstopper caused the audience to erupt in applause as she appeared in a breathtaking ivory gold corset gown. The overarching theme of love remained prominent as the actor twirled in her puffy lace skirt for the audience and blew kisses to her rumoured boyfriend Veer Pahariya. Pahariya, who made his acting debut earlier this year with 'Sky Force", and Sutaria have not confirmed their relationship, but their moment at the fashion gala quickly went viral on social media. Sutaria's corset was heavily fitted with gold accents, and her contrasting white lace skirt featured an embellished bodice. Her outfit was paired with a simple necklace. The show featured models who donned structurally sound corsets and intricately detailed designs. Embracing femininity, the colour palette was delicate, featuring colours like dusty pink, baby blue and white. The designer also contrasted these delicate colours with bolder hues like blood red and forest green while incorporating sparkly embroidery and lots of gold as the show progressed. The Indian Couture Week (ICW) will conclude on July 30. PTI SMR RB RB RB view comments First Published: July 25, 2025, 16:15 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
