The love for debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda starrer Saiyaara continues to grow day by day, along with its box office numbers. The Mohit Suri directorial is earning a lot of praise from the audience and film industry. Several Bollywood celebrities including, Karan Johar, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, and many others, appreciated Ahaan and Aneet's performances on social media. Now, in a recent interview, composer Tanishk Bagchi, the man behind Saiyaara's popular title track, opened up about recording it with the lead stars.
While talking to News18 Showsha, he revealed that both Ahaan and Aneet were present in the studio during the recording of the song. 'The first time I met Ahaan was at Yash Raj Films when we were recording the title track. He's a very humble kid. He doesn't have the tantrums or the attitude of a hero. He's also a brilliant actor. At that time, I didn't get a glimpse of his acting chops but I liked his energy and presence,' he said.
'Later when I met him and Aneet, I had told them that my intuition is telling me that this film is going to be huge. I had that hunch that they're going to become very big stars. I also told them that when you become big, don't forget where you came from. So many people see success and fame and then start flying and become very different. I've seen so many people rising and falling suddenly,' Tanishk added.

The composer also spoke about his reaction after watching Ahaan singing his song on-screen. He shared, 'When I watched the film, I realised that Mohit sir ne usko jaise train kiya tha, usne waise hi kaam kiya (he worked exactly the way Mohit Suri trained him). He followed his director through and through. They've that germ in them. I hope they keep their heads down and work hard. They're very lucky to have found a teacher like Mohit sir right in their first film. Maine unko yeh bhi kahan ki tum log innocent bachche ho, toh uss baat ko maintain karke rakhna (I told them to maintain their innocence).'
Tanishk Bagchi also shared that there were two versions to the video of the title song of Saiyaara and Ahaan Panday was nailing both of them. 'One was the theatrical one and the other one was like a montage. Mohit sir showed me both. When I watched these videos, I felt that music perfectly baith raha hai Ahaan ke upar. It's always nice composing fresh sounds for fresh faces,' he mentioned.
He compared the actor to late Rishi Kapoor for making an entire generation go gaga over his romantic hero avatar. 'I remember watching Rishi Kapoor sir. When he used to play the guitar or the piano, he would play it like he knows how to play it. That's how good his sync was. That's a skill set every actor should have. Mohit sir passed this on to Ahaan and it showed. Film mein kya attitude hai uska! I'm telling you, Ahaan is going to be our next big star,' he concluded.
Produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara has now crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the worldwide box office. The movie also features Geeta Agarwal, Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola and Shaad Randhawa in key roles.

Kishore Kumar AI Version Of Saiyaara Takes Internet by Storm; Fans Call It More Soulful Than Original

Last Updated: Kishore Kumar's AI-generated version of Saiyaara goes viral online. Fans call it nostalgic, soulful—some even say it's better than the original. The chart-topping title track of Saiyaara has already cemented its place as a musical phenomenon. But now, a fan-made AI-generated version featuring the legendary voice of Kishore Kumar has added a nostalgic twist to the viral wave. Set against visuals of Rimjhim Gire Sawan, the AI cover has taken social media by storm, sparking debate over creativity, ethics, and authenticity in the age of artificial intelligence. The edit juxtaposes Kishore Kumar's recreated vocals with the classic rainy Mumbai visuals of Amitabh Bachchan and Moushumi Chatterjee from the 1970s hit—creating a surreal time-travel moment for music lovers. Somebody made AI based Kishore Kumar version of Saiyaara title songGood effort with retro style rhythm arrangement.. sounds better than original.. yet not even 10% of the power, energy, vibrancy, voice, singing of what KK cud have achieved.. — Keh Ke Peheno (@coolfunnytshirt) August 2, 2025 Online, the video has stirred both admiration and skepticism. 'This is so soothing, at first I thought the Saiyaara song was rewritten," commented one user on X. Another gushed, 'The edit is really good, even better than the original." A third added bluntly, 'India literally lost real creators in music industry." But not everyone was sold. While many applauded the technical finesse, die-hard Kishore Kumar fans pushed back, calling the AI voice a pale imitation of the original. 'Only true Kishore fans will not go 'wow' on this video effort. The original song + the video is a masterpiece. None can replace them even if may seem perfect fit for some noobs," one post read. Another critic added, 'Good effort with retro-style rhythm arrangement… sounds better than original… yet not even 10% of the power, energy, vibrancy, voice, singing of what KK could have achieved." This online buzz comes on the heels of Saiyaara's historic global run. The Faheem Abdullah-sung ballad recently became the first Hindi song to top Spotify's Global Viral 50 chart, and also entered Spotify's Top 10 worldwide—a rare feat for a Bollywood track. Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara stars newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. The film has crossed ₹250 crore at the box office, and the song—composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah, and Arslan Nizami—has played a pivotal role in its cultural dominance. view comments First Published: August 03, 2025, 19:25 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Anupam Kher once couldn't pay a dhaba bill and had to leave his brother with them

Long before he was a globally recognised actor, Anupam Kher experienced the kind of struggles that shaped not just his career but his outlook on life. Kher opened up about a moment from his early days in Mumbai that left a lasting impression on him—a moment that combined ambition, naivety, and a sharp reality check at a local dhaba. In a candid interview with News18 Showsha, Kher was accompanied by his brother and a friend to a dhaba in Hirad Nagar after a televised play of his had aired on Doordarshan. Riding high on the appreciation from the dhaba owner, who recognised him and predicted a successful future for the young actor, Kher let the praise influence his decisions. Initially planning to order modestly, he instead called for chicken and beer. He had only Rs 1 in his pocket. Despite his attempts to assure the dhaba owner that he would one day be a successful man, the owner remained firm, stating that appreciation and business are two separate matters and the bill had to be paid. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Villas For Sale in Dubai Might Surprise You Villas In Dubai | Search Ads Get Rates Undo Turning Embarrassment Into a Life Lesson To resolve the situation, Kher left his brother and friend behind at the dhaba as assurance and rushed to a nearby friend's home to borrow Rs 100. Reflecting on the incident, he said he has always chosen to see the humour in hardship. Instead of viewing the moment with shame, he embraced it as a defining experience, noting that self-worth shouldn't be dictated by temporary financial struggles. Kher admitted that even without external judgment, there is often an internal sense of inadequacy during such tough times, especially in an industry that often equates success with wealth and glamour. But finding comedy in the struggle helped him survive emotionally and mentally. Embracing Imperfection Through Art and Life Kher's ability to accept imperfections—both his own and those around him—has also informed his recent creative work. Promoting his book Different, but No Less and his directorial film Tanvi The Great, he spoke about portraying autism not as a disability but as a unique strength. According to him, the constant pressure to appear perfect on social media platforms often creates a false standard of happiness, leading many to feel inadequate. His character Tanvi, he explained, represents purity and honesty, traits untainted by ambition or manipulation. Kher acknowledged that since the character originated from his own mind, it gave him hope that such qualities might reside within him as well.
