Meraux man accused of child, animal sex crimes
MERAUX, La. (WGNO) — A Meraux man has been arrested following a sex crimes investigation in St. Bernard Parish that came to a head on Thursday.
According to the Louisiana State Police, investigators with the LSP's Special Victims Unit started investigating an individual in St. Bernard Parish, who was suspected of child pornography possession, back in December of 2024.

On March 13, 39-year-old Arthur Terry was arrested and booked into the St. Bernard Sheriff's Office Prison after a search was performed at his home.
Terry faces 11 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material involving victims under 13 and one count of sexual abuse of an animal.

She shared a TikTok and publicly announced the news with a video in which she shared, "I filed for separation." She later posted another video explaining that she had to file for separation in the state of North Carolina before filing for divorce. Evans had previously stood by her estranged husband over the years amid legal trouble. In May 2019, the influencer temporarily lost custody of her two younger children after Eason shot and killed their family dog for biting their then-2-year-old daughter in the face. In May, the Hamilton School Board made the unanimous decision not to renew O'Connell's contract. What they're saying Parents like Joe Fuller came out to show support for O'Connell. "We thought she was one of the absolute best in the district," Fuller said. "Cate was very proactive in her approach to helping these families – and not just the students. She was faulted for it."
