RC Lens: Jeremy Agbonifo pushed towards the exit?
Signed last winter after a promising loan spell, Jeremy Agbonifo could already be packing his bags at RC Lens.
At just 19 years old, the Nigerian winger no longer features in coach Pierre Sage's plans, having recently been demoted to the reserve team. Just a few days ago, the manager addressed Jeremy Agbonifo's situation:
He's a player with potential, but he needs to understand his role and seize his opportunities. For now, that's not clear to him.
Arriving from BK Häcken for nearly €9 million, the young Swedish forward hasn't truly made his mark in Ligue 1: just one goal in eight appearances during the second half of the season. According to La Voix du Nord, the Artois club is now looking to offload him by September. With a contract running until 2028, Agbonifo could leave Lens much earlier than initially expected.

Ousmane Touré set to miss entire season for Lille
Lille OSC have confirmed that Ousmane Touré (20) suffered a serious injury during the 3-3 draw with Stade Brestois on Sunday afternoon. The defender filling in at right-back due to injuries and illness to Aïssa Mandi, Tiago Santos, and Thomas Meunier had to come off midway through the second half. Lille have since revealed that the defender ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will require surgery to solve the problem. Lille explained that 'he will face a long period of unavailability' as these injuries require a lengthy rehabilitation period, while La Voix du Nord reports that he could miss the rest of the season. This could mean that Bruno Génésio will turn to the teenager Maxima Goffi (17) as he did on Sunday, although Santos should soon be back in action after the Portuguese youth international's return from a lengthy spell on the sidelines following an ACL injury was temporarily delayed by a sore throat. Esteban Lepaul agrees personal terms with Rennes
Whilst talks between SCO Angers and Stade Rennais are ongoing, Esteban Lepaul (25) has agreed terms with the latter, according to a report from RMC Sport journalist . Lepaul carved out a spot in the line-up at Angers over the course of last season, finishing the season as the club's top goal-scorer in Ligue 1. The Frenchman has begun this campaign well, too, netting the only goal in a 1-0 win over Paris FC on the opening day of the Ligue 1 season. His performances have caught the eye of Rennes. As reported by Foot Mercato earlier this week, the Breton club have even submitted a bid worth €10m. However, this falls considerably short of Angers' valuation of their forward, which L'Équipe believes to be €25m. However, that has not deterred Rennes. As per Hawkins, talks between the clubs are ongoing. In the meantime, Lepaul has agreed on a four-year deal with Les Rennais. GFFN | Luke Entwistle

Tottenham Turn to £47.5M-Rated PSG Transfer Target as Savinho Alternative
Maghnes Akliouche has become one of the most in-demand players as the summer transfer window nears its close, drawing strong interest from PSG and Manchester City after a breakout season with AS Monaco. The 23-year-old has established himself as one of Ligue 1's standout talents, and a move abroad is more likely. In May, 90min France reported that City and PSG had stepped up their pursuit, with Monaco now valuing him at around €70 million. Pep Guardiola admires Akliouche's left-footed creativity and versatility, seeing him as a potential long-term successor to Bernardo Silva. Meanwhile, Sky Sport Germany's Florian Plettenberg reported that Bayer Leverkusen still consider him a dream signing but view their chances as slim given the price tag and competition. With Manchester City firmly in the mix, Plettenberg adds that Akliouche is one of the key names to watch as Deadline Day approaches. Tottenham look at PSG, Man City transfer targetThe Independent reports that Tottenham are eyeing Akliouche as a more affordable option to Savinho, with Manchester City setting a £70 million price tag for the 21-year-old. Monaco, meanwhile, value their attacking midfielder at £47.5 million. According to a previous report from L'Équipe, Manchester United are also a name linked to the Frenchman. Nonetheless, it appears as though several Premier League clubs are keen on the Monaco standout. Despite the interest, it will take a significant sum. Monaco reportedly ask between €70 million and €80 million for the midfielder, a high price that hasn't deterred any of the clubs tracking him, making a summer transfer seem more likely.
