Jesy Nelson makes brave decision on newborn twins in emotional update

Daily Mirror20-05-2025

New mum Jesy Nelson's brave twins will be shown for the first time on screen - as part of a new six part documentary about her pregnancy and what she describes as a "new chapter in her life".
Fans will get the inside track on the ups and downs of Jesy's tricky pregnancy and get to meet the twins - named Ocean Jade and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster in a Prime series.
The streaming giants have officially confirmed the project with Jesy as she shared a photo on social media. The twins birth came as a relief to Jesy and her partner Zion Foster.
Jesy said: 'I feel so excited and proud that we can finally reveal we have been filming our own series for Amazon! We met with the creative director Demi doyle and Producer Gavin Evans at Navybee and letting the cameras in wasn't an easy decision for us as it's such a deeply personal time but I knew I wanted to tell my story in my own words.
"We opened the doors fully and I'm really looking forward to letting you all in as I navigate my way to becoming a first time mum to our beautiful baby girls Ocean and Story. I'll be honest, it's not been easy as it's been such a high risk pregnancy, so you'll see all the highs and lows and rollercoaster of emotions we have been going through. I hope you will all join me on this journey as I really open up and say goodbye to the past and enter this new chapter in my life. I hope you love it as much as we do.'
Prime have said she will "share her truth like never before" and the footage will include "weekly hospital visits and candid conversations" as well as the unwavering support of her loved ones.
But the doc isn't just about motherhood, she will confront her past and on this series she will open up about the life-altering decision to leave Little Mix in 2020, breaking her silence on the relentless pressures of fame, the battle with mental health and the controversies that followed. It will then continue with her new chapter with Zion and the twins.
Jesy and Zion have been living in a London hospital for the last two months and doctors planned to induce the births after 32 weeks. In the end the babies were born after 31 weeks and five days as Jesy explained in her announcement on instagram.
She added: "It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fighting strong. We've never felt more in love.'
Former Little Mix star Jesy had emergency surgery in April after the babies developed twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome - a rare condition which could have been fatal for one or both twins. The operation was a success but it meant Jesy and Zion lived in hospital afterwards until the babies were born.
Shortly before their birth Zion told the Mirror : "We're so grateful because Jesy and the twins have come through so much. There were so many times in this pregnancy we didn't think we'd get to where we are now.'
The Prime documentary team were filming with Jesy in the hospital during her pregnancy and there will be emotional scenes and she and Zion speak on camera about how close they came to losing their babies.
It will then capture the joy of them becoming parents, will filming expected to start again in the coming days and weeks to show their first steps as parents with the twins.
Demi Doyle, Creative Director and Executive Producer, for makers Navybee said: 'From the moment we met Jesy she has welcomed us into her world with so much honesty and heart. Letting the cameras in during such a vulnerable and life-changing time wasn't an easy decision but she chose to open up in the most brave and beautiful way.
"With her incredible partner Zion by her side, we've followed every raw emotion, every high and low, and the deeply personal moments that have shaped this new chapter of her life. This is more than just a journey to motherhood, it's a powerful, emotional step forward, and a chance for Jesy to finally tell her story. Letting us share this journey is something truly special, and we feel so privileged to be part of.'
Hannah Blyth, Prime Video UK said: 'We are delighted to be working with the talented Demi Doyle and the fantastic team at Navybee to bring Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix to Prime Video. The series will offer an intimate look at Jesy's journey — a powerful account that's never been told before - and we are extremely grateful to Jesy for opening up her life to the cameras during such a pivotal and impactful year for her, as she embraces new motherhood and reflects on her experiences beyond the headlines.
"We're confident that our Prime Video audience will be deeply moved by her honesty and strength as she finds new clarity and speaks her truth in this next chapter of her life.'
In an interview last month before they were born, Zion said living in hospital and preparing to become parents had made him and Jesy closer.
He explained: 'We've literally grown to understand each other on a deeper level. And I think we really understand how much we actually care about each other.
'I think it's at these times when you really, really know what love you have and what your relationship means. And I think for me and Jess, this has just taken it to a whole other level of us knowing we are literally made for each other.'
Jesy from Romford, East London, shot to fame on ITV 's The X Factor in 2011 and stayed in Little Mix until 2020. She has been dating Zion, from South London, since November 2022. The couple received thousands of messages of support from the public since they spoke about the twins' struggles.
Zion previously said Jesy regularly read them whilst pregnant and they were a source of comfort. He explained: 'It's really been incredible, the level of support. It's been absolutely incredible. And I think just massive, massive, massive credit to Jesy, because obviously when these kinds of things happen, it's very difficult to actually share that.
'But Jess had the courage to say: 'You know what? I want to put this story out there. I want to let people in. I want people to know it's not just about sharing the good moments. I want people to know the reality.' And just to see the response, people's support, the amount of messages that just flooded in daily.
'Even after the operation, Jess was recovering and we didn't say anything for a while, people were asking: 'Oh, is everything OK?' I think it's just been just so touching, and I don't know if the word is 'motivational', but it just really keeps us going.

EXCLUSIVE REVEALED: The luxury Italian venue Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have booked for their wedding celebrations

The historical Italian venue billionaire Jeff Bezos, 61, has booked as part of his wedding celebrations to Lauren Sanchez, 55, later this month can be revealed by the MailOnline. The Amazon boss has booked the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, one of the largest and grandest buildings in the historical centre of Venice, as part of the weekend-long extravaganza of celebrations. When built in 1310 it represented the 'Seven Scuole Grandi' whose members were high society dignitaries in Venice, who reached a level of such wealth and influence they were given leading roles in the state. Its walls are decorated by the city's greatest Renaissance artists. The Lonely Planet travel guides says of the large venue: 'One of Venice's seven grand confraternities, the Misericordia was the seat of the wealthy silk weavers guild that commissioned this enormous classical hall.' 'In 1532 Jacopo Sansovino was brought on board, brainstorming the idea of a Roman basilica within a traditional Venetian frame. No expense was spared on the interiors either, which were frescoed by Veronese, Zanchi, Pellegrini and Tintoretto. In 1914 it was taken over by the Reyer Sports Club, providing a beautiful backdrop to their basketball competitions.' The couple's highly-anticipated nuptials are set to take place the weekend of June 24 in the Floating City, much to the frustration of Venetians who have accused the billionaire of turning their home into a 'playground' for the ultra-wealthy - and are now planning protests to push back. A-list celebrities, politicians, and business leaders are expected to attend, which will mean beefed-up security, closed streets and airspace, and a strong police presence, just as Venice's peak tourist season gets underway. With an eye-popping price tag of $10million and a star-studded guest list that includes the Kardashians, actress Eva Longoria, and pop star Katy Perry - who all attended Sanchez's bachelorette party in Paris earlier this month - the wedding promises to opulence on overdrive. While President Donald Trump isn't expected to make an appearance, his children Ivanka and Don Jr are set to attend with their respective partners, husband Jared Kushner and new girlfriend Bettina Anderson. Guests are likely to land at nearby airports in gas-guzzling private planes - Bezos owns four Gulfstream jets - although the 61-year-old can't dock his $500million superyacht Koru as it's too big to anchor anywhere close to Venice. The massive carbon footprint of Bezos and his loaded guests will irk locals further, as Venice is blighted with polluted canals and mass tourism is destroying the fragile lagoon the city sits in. The Laboratorio Occupato Morion - a self-described 'anti-fascist, anti-capitalist, anti-racist and trans-feminist political space' - is already planning on hosting a protest event in the city on Friday at its social center, a short walk from the historic St. Mark's Square. The group has already begun advertising the protest online - sharing a flyer with an image of Bezos' head atop a rocket alongside the slogan: 'No space for Bezos, No space for oligarchs!' 'Jeff Bezos thinks he can buy the entire city - let's throw him a party!', the flyer reads, alongside details of Friday's demonstration. A lengthy adjoining caption reads : 'Venice is transformed into yet another playground for billionaires, while those who live it every day are left with discomfort, exclusion and precariousness.'

Perrie Edwards reveals the extreme lengths she goes to in bid to manage her crippling panic attacks

Perrie Edwards has revealed she brings her therapist to work with her in a bid to manage the panic attacks that have plagued her for years. The former Little Mix star, 31, opened up about her mental health struggles as she was announced as the newest celebrity ambassador for the mental health charity Mind. Perrie who has been very honest about her battle with anxiety and panic attacks, has shed light on how she's learning to cope - including having her therapist on hand to help her face the symptoms in the moment. The former X Factor winner – who's previously spoken about struggling with agoraphobia and blurred vision and breathlessness during a panic attack – said her biggest breakthrough came when she stopped trying to fight the feelings and started facing them in real time. She told Metro: 'Last year, maybe in September, I started to take my therapist to work with me, which I know is a very privileged situation. I understand that not many people even have a therapist. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'So I thought, I'm going to make the most of it. I'm going to take her to work with me every day, and when I'm having the panic attack, she's going to coach me through it there and then.' She admitted: 'It's the best thing I've ever done. And I wish I did it sooner, to be honest.' Despite previously trying 'all different kinds' of therapy, Perrie confessed that the panic still hit her hard when it came out of nowhere and everything she'd been taught just 'went out the window.' Now, the BRIT Award-winning star is on a mission to help break the stigma around anxiety and wants to encourage others to get the support they need. As part of her new role with Mind, she's pushing for more access to mental health resources for everyone. not just those with the means to have support on speed dial. She added: 'I'm just trying to be at peace with my anxiety. If I can help even one person feel less alone, it's worth it.' It comes after the singer has admitted she fears she 'might die' as she opened up about her ongoing battle with panic disorders when she appeared on Alison Hammond 's Big Weekend. Perrie invited the presenter into her home and spoke openly about how anxiety has affected her everyday life. 'I've developed panic disorder' she said. 'So it's the fear of having a panic attack. A few years ago, I started suffering from severe panic attacks. 'I then developed a fear of having one again because I was like, if I'm on my own and have a panic attack, I might die, and nobody will be here to help.' She candidly added: 'That's why I'm never on my own. Never. I'm always with somebody. I don't like the feeling of feeling like I'm gonna die.' Elsewhere in the interview, Perrie revealed she wants to expand her family after welcoming a son Axel in 2021 with her partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Chatting about how Axel sleeps in her bed when Alex is away for work, Alison asked: 'Are you going to have another one?' To which Perrie replied: 'I'd love more. I've always wanted four but I know that's a bit excessive now because I know that we can't get in a car.' 'You just get a bigger car, don't you?' Alison responded. Perrie replied: 'I don't want to. I had a dream the other night that I was pregnant.' 'Should we go and get a pregnancy test?' Alison joked, to which Perrie said: 'Could you imagine.' Perrie recently gave an insight into her family life and revealed her son is best friends with the children of her Little Mix bandmates. She shared a sweet Instagram picture of her son hanging out with Leigh-Anne Pinnock's twin girls. Perri and her footballer fiancé Alex gushed that having Axel was 'the best thing that ever happened' to her. Leigh-Anne and her husband Andre Gray welcomed their twins, whose names have never been revealed publicly, just five days before Perrie. In the sweet image, Perrie was seen crouched on the floor cuddling Axel with Leigh-Anne next to them holding on to her two girls. The former Little Mixers beaming from ear-to-ear as their tiny tots enjoyed a play date. Axel looked adorable dressed in a mini Beşiktaş football kit - the team his father plays for. Jeremy Clarkson's daughter made Lisa Hogan 'burst into tears'

The 51-year-old former model and co-star on Amazon's Clarkson's Farm opened up about her life with the ex-Top Gear host, revealing that despite not being engaged, their blended family shares a close bond. Lisa explained that Emily, a social media influencer and author, has previously spoken about her own daughter in such a kind way in the past. I've said it before, but I think Clarkson's Farm is my favourite show of the past 5 years. It's funny and engaging, you learn a heap, and it's done such a great job on showing the world the plight of farmers and how essential they are. And, of course, Jezza is Jezza ❤️ — Andrew Johnston (@ARJ7X) May 26, 2025 She said: "Emily has this podcast called Shall I Delete That? and she spoke about my daughter in such a sweet way that I burst out crying. They've known each other for nine years, and I think they really care about each other." She also gave insights into Jeremy's personality away from the cameras, describing him as endlessly curious and brimming with energy, even over the smallest things. When discussing the prospect of marriage, Lisa expressed contentment with their relationship as it is, telling the Daily Mail: "Mrs Clarkson? No, thank you, I like Lisa Hogan. "We decided not to have children together." "We're at a stage where we are not going to have kids. I'm just happy pootling along. I think because of our age, it's much easier." Recommended reading: As the new series of Clarkson's Farm hits the screens, Jeremy's health sparked even more concern following his heart surgery last year to fit two stents. Reflecting on the latest episodes, Jeremy observed how he appeared increasingly unwell as the series went on. Speaking to The Sun, Jeremy said: "You can see me becoming more and more ill as the days go on, because I just lose my sense of humour, lose my ability to stay calm. "I get in a proper old panic. I didn't know at the time. I knew I wasn't being me. Because if you don't sleep, it very quickly has an effect."
