Michael Page '100 percent' down to fight Carlos Prates at UFC Rio de Janeiro
Both Page and Prates competed and won at Saturday's UFC 319 with Page outpointing veteran Jared Cannonier at 185 pounds, and Prates viciously knocking out Geoff Neal at welterweight. After Prates's finish, the Brazilian called for a spot on the UFC Fight Night event scheduled to go down in Rio de Janeiro on Oct. 11, which UFC CEO Dana WHite said he'd grant. The missing piece here is a willing dance partner, but Page is more than willing to fill that role.
"100 percent, 100 percent," Page said at the UFC 319 post-fight press conference when asked if he'd be down to fight Prates. "You're not hitting me with that spinning elbow, I'm telling you that right now. But yeah, 100 percent, that's a great fight. It's those kinds of fights that I want, those kinds of fights I'm calling on. If he's happy, I'll happily put my hand up, and I would love to go to Brazil. I've had fans in Brazil for many years. I remember being called the 'U.K. Anderson Silva,' which is a massive compliment. I have a load of fans in Brazil, and I still haven't managed to get over there."
Although the event is not too far away, that's no problem for Page. Despite fighting the full 15 minutes, unlike Prates, who got a first-round finish, Page said he's healthy and ready to prep for a fight.
"No damage – no real damage," Page said. "A little sore leg slightly, but that's normal when people try to go for your legs and stuff, kicking your legs. Nothing. I'll be fine in a week. That sounds good to me."

Erceg rallies after early knockdown to save UFC career at Vegas 109
Erceg rallies after early knockdown to save UFC career at Vegas 109 originally appeared on The Sporting News Steve Erceg walked into UFC Vegas 109 knowing his career might be on the line. He left with his hand raised, halting a three-fight skid. The Australian won a gritty unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) over Ode Osbourne, surviving a first-round knockdown before grinding out the final two rounds. MORE:Reyes talks up Ulberg ahead of UFC Perth All three judges scored the fight for Erceg, who admitted the result wasn't pretty - but it may have been the most important win of his career. Just 15-months-ago, Erceg was fighting for UFC gold against Alexandre Pantoja. Fast forward to Sunday, and he was fighting to stay employed by the promotion. Three straight losses had shaken his self-belief and placed him firmly on the chopping block. "Unfortunately, I'm on three losses and I could be fighting for my contract," Erceg told MMA Fighting prior to the bout. Originally booked to face Alex Perez, Erceg saw two opponents withdraw before landing Osbourne - a dangerous knockout artist coming off of a win. Despite being the betting favourite, the 30-year-old understood the test that he had in-front of him. Osbourne made his intentions clear in the first round, tagging Erceg with a crisp check hook that sent the Aussie to the canvas. The second round was tighter. Osbourne still landed clean but began to slow down, while Erceg pressed forward with grappling and clinch-work. By the third round, Erceg had taken control - he shot for a takedown early, securing the mount, and riding out long stretches of control time. "I had his back in the second [round]. The striking was close in the second [round]. I thought I won," said Erceg in the post-fight interview. "I wanted to make a statement about how tough I am." Erceg now hopes to ride the momentum into a quick turnaround - and a spot on the UFC's Perth card in September. "Yeah, I think I can at the moment for sure," he said.

Details of first Manchester City offer for Rodrygo Goes revealed
Real Madrid are yet to make any major sales this summer, with most of their outgoings limited to the exits of veterans and Castilla players. However Brazilian star Rodrygo Goes is the one that seems like a possible departure in the final weeks of the transfer window. Los Blancos have made it clear that they are open to offers, and Rodrygo appears to be keen on a switch to the Premier League. Arsenal and Liverpool have been most strongly linked to Rodrygo for the majority of the summer, with the former enquiring about a loan offer for Rodrygo with an option or obligation to buy next year. Liverpool will only pursue Rodrygo if their move for Alexander Isak fails. Manchester City interest in Rodrygo returns However this week it has emerged that Manchester City have revived their interest in Rodrygo. Their decision to move very much hinges on a potential exit for Savinho, who is on the agenda at Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs must meet City's asking price, which is beyond €50-60m. Yet sources close to the matter have indicated to Football España that if they do reach a deal for Savinho, then City will launch into negotiations without delay. Image viaManchester City have initial proposal in mind Depending on the resolution of the Savinho deal, City intend to come to Real Madrid with an offer worth €80m plus an extra €20m in variables. Arsenal and Liverpool are yet to discuss such high figures as things stand. Agent Pini Zahavi is working on the matter, and Paris Saint-Germain are keeping an eye on the situation. Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia are also interested, but Rodrygo wants to remain in Europe. It is an offer that could lead to a deal with Real Madrid. Previously it has been said that Florentino Perez would accept an offer in the range of €100m, with €80m the minimum in a fixed fee they would consider. From there, it would seem City and Real Madrid might be able to find a middle point.
