RIYADH — Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Turki Al-Sheikh announced that the number of visitors to the fifth edition of Riyadh Season has reached 20 million. The season witnesses this record number of visitors for the first time in its history since its launch in 2019. This reflects the unprecedented turnout for the season's events and the unique diversity it offers. The season's crossing of the 20 million visitor mark confirms its position as one of the largest entertainment events in the world, while continuing to provide new and innovative experiences that enhance Riyadh's position as a global entertainment destination.The season enjoys a distinctive reputation that makes its zones a major stop for visitors to Riyadh from within and outside the Kingdom, as it continues to attract visitors in huge numbers. The season's various zones witness the presence of huge number of visitors, especially in "Boulevard World", "Boulevard City", and "Boulevard Runway." These zones provide exceptional entertainment experiences that include artistic and musical performances, the latest international games, in addition to restaurants and cafes that offer the finest food experience, representing diverse cultures.The mild winter weather and public holidays have contributed to the tremendous turnout of the public to various zones of the season, where 'Dunes of Arabia' attracted adventure and camping enthusiasts. 'Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams' exhibition, being held at the Saudi National Museum, also drew wide interest from fashion and art lovers, while 'The Groves' zone attracted visitors with its unique atmosphere, international restaurants and live music performances, reflecting the diversity of options offered by the season.
Major events, such as boxing matches, martial arts, and padel competitions are also witnessing tremendous turnout, in addition to artistic concerts that host a selection of distinguished stars and fans.

The coordinated efforts reflect Madinah's commitment to ensuring a seamless and spiritually enriching post-Hajj experience for the pilgrims. Under the direct supervision of Emir of Madinah Region and Chairman of the Hajj and Visitation Committee Prince Salman bin Sultan, relevant agencies are executing comprehensive operational plans tailored to the post-Hajj season. The first groups of returning pilgrims are set to arrive Sunday evening, Dhul Hijjah 12, via bus and the Haramain High-Speed Train. Authorities are actively monitoring field operations to ensure smooth traffic on key routes, including the Hijrah Expressway, and have implemented precautionary measures to maintain high levels of security and traffic fluidity along the Qassim and Tabuk roads leading into Madinah. The General Authority for the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque has launched an integrated plan to prepare the mosque and its facilities to receive pilgrims in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. A total of 141 mosque doors will be opened to accommodate male and female pilgrims, with 100 designated pathways staffed by spatial guidance teams to organize movement within the mosque complex. Special arrangements have been made to manage access to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif, with entry regulated through pre-booked appointments on official applications, ensuring adherence to crowd capacity and providing a smooth experience. Informational digital screens guide visitors through designated entry points, and Zamzam water bottles are distributed to enhance their spiritual visit. These efforts aim to facilitate voluntary prayers in Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif and allow the largest possible number of pilgrims to offer greetings to Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) and to his two companions.

This step is part of an integrated strategy developed by the Ministry to enhance crowd management during the Hajj season of 1446 AH. The strategy is built on a unified operational model that connects service and regulatory bodies via the Joint Operations and Delegation Center — one of the year's most significant transformations in managing Hajj crowds. The newly issued schedules take into account each group's accommodation locations and travel paths. Transport minister inspects Hajj shuttle service for pilgrims heading for Grand Mosque
Saudi Gazette report MINA — Minister of Transport and Logistics Saleh Al-Jasser inspected the shuttle bus service for pilgrims to assess service quality and ensure a safe transport experience between the holy sites and the Grand Mosque in Makkah. Al-Jasser examined the shuttle service station located west of the Jamarat, which is directly linked to the Grand Mosque to facilitate pilgrim transfers for Tawaf Al-Ifadah and other rituals. A designated shuttle service track has been implemented to separate bus and pedestrian traffic, enhancing both safety and efficiency for pilgrims. The shuttle journey takes approximately 20 minutes, utilizing a fleet of 100 buses, each with a capacity of 125 passengers. This system allows for a remarkable throughput of up to 20,000 passengers per hour at each station.
