Noah Wyle begins production on 'The Pitt' Season 2
June 16 (UPI) -- Max announced Monday that The Pitt has begun production on Season 2. Production is commencing on the Warner Bros. studio lot in Burbank, Calif. with some Pittsburgh, Pa., exteriors.

Wyle plays Dr. Robinavitch, who presides over a team of doctors and nurses in a Pittsburgh hospital. The first season followed one shift with each hour representing an hour of real time.
Kirby played a doctor introduced at 6 p.m. or episode 12. Tracy Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Fiona Dourif and Isa Briones also star.
Wyle reunites with his ER producer John Wells and also executive produces. R. Scott Gemmill created The Pitt.
Max renewed The Pitt for Season 2 in February. The Season 1 finale aired April 10.
Wyle discussed plans for the new season in May on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Season 2 will stream in January, by which time Max will revert its name back to HBO Max.

So there was a point where I was like, you know what? Maybe I don't wanna come back and I wanna hold off because I don't know if I can." He said, however, that he believed he would be dishonoring his father if he did not stay on the Modern Family cast. He also said he knew his co-stars would be strong sources of support during that difficult time. In addition, Rodriguez shared that he was overcome with emotion during the first Season 9 table read, surrounded by his castmates. "I stood up there and I looked at everybody and I couldn't help but cry and get emotional because my dad passed in March and then in July, we're starting right up again," said the 26-year-old actor. "And it was like, man, being here, it helps me. It's helping me just because I know how much love you guys have given me over the years. Knowing that I had you guys to be there with, to uplift me, and just have a good time, it really made my decision a lot easier to for sure come back." Rodriguez spoke about his time on Modern Family, which ended in 2020, during an April 2025 interview with ComingSoon. He described the ABC sitcom as "such a blessing." Singer Nezza performs national anthem in Spanish at Dodger Stadium after team axed it
Rising R&B singer Nezza is going viral for her choice to sing the "Star Spangled Banner" in Spanish at a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game, apparently despite the team's request not to. In a TikTok the singer posted on Sunday, June 15, Nezza can be seen sporting a Dominican Republic jersey as an unseen woman, presumably with the Dodgers front office, confirms the national anthem should be sung in English. While being told this, Nezza says, "Oh," as her face immediately falls, before the video cuts to the 30-year-old singing in Spanish in Dodger Stadium. "watch the dodgers tell me i can't sing the spanish star spangled banner that Roosevelt literally commissioned in 1945," Nezza wrote in the onscreen text. "so i did anyway." Nezza is likely referring to nationwide protests over the federal government's immigration enforcement, which first erupted in Los Angeles earlier this month. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is carrying out a directive from President Donald Trump to find immigrants living in the United States without legal status. His goal is to deport 1 million undocumented immigrants annually. This has sparked a series of sometimes-violent protests in the greater Los Angeles area. "I just could not believe when she walked in and told me no. But I just felt like I needed to do it," Nezza continued. "And I'm proud of myself for doing that today." The singer said her parents are immigrants who have been documented for years, but she "just can't imagine them being ripped away from me, even at this age, let alone a little kid.
