Nip/Tuck star Dylan Walsh hit with multiple tickets after swerving lanes and crashing SUV with 4 family members inside
Nip/Tuck star Walsh, 61, was the driver of the vehicle at the time of the crash on Sunday, the Daily Mail can confirm.
While traveling northbound on East River Road, Walsh swerved into the southbound lane before breaking through a utility pole and continuing northbound, police said.
The car, a 2022 Ford Explorer, then collided with another utility pole and emergency crews responded to the 'serious' single-car crash just after 5pm.
Walsh was served with 'several motor vehicle summonses,' the Rumson Police Department said in a release.
The crash resulted in two of Walsh's passengers being transported to Riverview Medical Center with complaints of pain, according to police.
It remains unclear who involved in the crash was injured.
Police did not confirm if the summonses were linked to driving under the influence, but said the investigation remains ongoing.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Walsh's representative for comment.
In a statement to TMZ, the actor's representative previously said: 'Over the weekend, Dylan Walsh and his family were involved in a car accident in Rumson. Thankfully, everyone is safe and has since returned home.'
'The family is deeply grateful for the swift response of the Rumson Police, Fire Department, and EMS, as well as the staff at Riverview Medical Center for their care,' they continued.
'They would also like to extend a special thank-you to the management and staff at The River Point Inn for their support in the immediate aftermath.'
The intersection remained closed until 7am the following day, and the crash kept eight neighboring residents without power until late on Sunday evening.
According to the local news outlet Towns Of: Monmouth County, NJ, Walsh's wife Leslie Bourque wrote about the crash in a since-deleted Facebook post.
'It was our family who was involved in the car accident on River Road yesterday afternoon. We just want to thank everyone who took care of us in this scary time,' Bourque reportedly wrote.
'1st of all to the managers/staff at River Point Inn who immediately ran out to make sure we were ok and comfort our kids (literally one lady wrapped her arms around all of us letting us know it would be ok) — bringing ice bags and the fancy Evian water bottle.'
She continued, thanking the 'first responders who came faster than one would think,' as well as the 'EMT who put up with my corny jokes in the ambulance. And the ER staff at Riverview Medical.'
Walsh's wife included an update on how her family members were doing after the crash.
'We are a bit bruised from seatbelts, but grateful for them and air bags which saved our lives,' she concluded. 'We apologize for anyone who lost power or inconvenience.'
Walsh shares two children, Amelie Bell, 13, and Hudson Scott, with his third wife Bourque who married in 2022.
He has two other children, Thomas and Joanna, with Boogie Nights actress Melora Walters.
Thomas made headlines in 2023 for rescuing a drowning driver from Baltimore Harbor after a car plunged into the waters.
Walsh's heroic son, who was 26 years old at the time, was seen diving into the waters fully clothed before punching the car window with his bare fists to free the driver.
A rep for Walsh exclusively told the Daily Mail that the heroic act of the military veteran who served in Iraq only shows 'that's the person he is!'
A co-worker to Thomas named Jordan Payne, who saw his heroic act, told the Baltimore Banner that he had suffered injuries from saving the driver.
She explained: 'His hand is like all the way cut up. His whole knuckles are busted.'
After breaking into the car, Thomas grabbed the driver and did his best to get him to safety.
A witness named Mike Malone said: 'I saw him when he had the guy, he was trying to hold him up, he was trying to pull him to safety.
Both the driver, who law enforcement said had suffered a mental health crisis, and Thomas were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Veteran rider, 76, died after falling off his horse while trail hunting just hours after laying scent for event, inquest hears
A riding enthusiast died after falling from his horse just hours after laying a scent for a hunting event, an inquest heard. Guy Avis, 76, died while taking part in a Heythrop Hunt trail hunt with 90 other riders when his horse refused to jump a fence. He had been a lifelong member of the event, where he was known as the 'singing secretary'. Gloucestershire Coroners' Court heard Mr Avis, who also performed with Giffords Circus, had been riding his horse Jasper. The inquest was told Mr Avis fell forward over the horse's head after Jasper did not jump the fence. Mr Avis, of Dean, Chipping Norton, landed headfirst on the ground and died from a fractured cervical spine. Roland Wooderson, area coroner for Gloucestershire, reached a conclusion of accidental death on Thursday. The coroner said: 'It is clear from the evidence that on November 2 2024, at the farm in question, Mr Avis died as a result of injuries sustained when he fell from his horse. 'I accept the medical cause of death as 1a fractured cervical spine and 1b horse riding accident. 'On that information, on the balance of probability, the appropriate conclusion is one of accidental death.' In a statement read to the court, Hannah Goffe said Mr Avis had been taking part in a Heythrop Hunt event. Mrs Goffe described overhearing someone saying there had been an accident at about 2pm. 'I ran towards the jump and I saw Guy lying on the floor,' Mrs Goffe, who had known Mr Avis for 30 years, said. 'Guy was unresponsive and I started CPR. I was aware that someone was on the phone to 999.' Pathologist Dr Terry Jones reported how Mr Avis had been riding his horse when it refused a jump. The inquest heard paramedics were told Mr Avis was seen to fall forward and land headfirst on the ground. He was found on the floor by friends and received medical attention before his death was confirmed at 2.50pm. In a report, health and safety officer Beth Pritchard told how Mr Avis was a volunteer with the hunt. 'He was an experienced horse rider and was riding his own horse, Jasper, using his own tack,' she said. Her report described how Mr Avis had laid a trail earlier that day but was riding as a hunt participant when he died. In November last year, Giffords Circus said it was 'so saddened' to hear of Mr Avis's death. The travelling circus posted an image of Mr Avis taking part in the 2019 show, Xanadu. It said: 'We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Guy Avis. 'Guy worked with Giffords Circus over the years in many forms, here he is in 2019 in Xanadu while working alongside Nell in the ring. 'Our condolences to all his family and friends. With love from all at Giffords Circus.' In a post at the time, The British Hound Sports Association said: 'We are saddened to hear of the sudden loss while hunting yesterday of Guy Avis, known as 'the Singing Secretary' of the Heythrop. A post he held for 28 years. 'He had hunted for over 60 years. Condolences to family and friends.'

Police finally arrest man for throwing sex toy that struck 12-year-old girl at WNBA game
The man accused of hurling a sex toy toward the court during a New York Liberty game - striking a 12-year-old girl - has finally been arrested, police confirmed. Officials say the suspect has been identified as Charles Burgess, 32, of Dayton, Ohio. He was taken into custody by New York Police Department officers on Wednesday, facing two counts of assault in connection with the bizarre incident. According to court and police records, it remains unclear whether Burgess has been formally booked or if he has retained legal counsel. At the start of the month, NYPD launched a search for Burgess, over a sex toy-throwing incident that occurred during the Liberty's game against the Dallas Wings. Officials confirmed that they were seeking out a man - pictured wearing a 'Beavis and Butthead' t-shirt - who is believed to have taken part in the disturbing trend. According to Crime Stoppers, the man was seen throwing a green sex toy from the stands, during a New York Liberty game on Tuesday, which struck a 12-year-old girl. Police have now revealed that the suspect fled the scene on foot and remained on the run until Wednesday. According to the New York Post, one fan said: 'The object was thrown from someone much higher up but definitely in the same section. 'When it landed, the girl started screaming/freaking out (understandably) for like 30 [seconds] and got the attention of most people within the surrounding rows'. Security footage from the Barclays Center showed the man - who has tattoos up and down his arms - wearing a red and black hat as he walked through the arena. Unlike in other incidents that have plagued the league, the sex toy did not make it onto the court and officials were reportedly able to dispose of the item swiftly. Meanwhile, earlier this month, two individuals - including an 18-year-old - were arrested over similar indecent acts in the last week. Kaden Lopez, 18, was booked into jail on suspicion of disorderly conduct, assault and public display of explicit sexual material following the game between the Mercury and Sun, Fox 10 Phoenix has reported. While the toy did not reach the court, it allegedly hit an adult male victim who was attending the game with his nine-year-old niece, according to a court document. The moment of Lopez throwing the object, described as a 'green dildo', was captured on video, and the teen was tackled by an arena volunteer before being detained by police. Lopez allegedly apologized for the act, saying it was 'stupid prank that was trending on social media.' It is also alleged in court documents that he bought the toy on Monday - just one day before the game. Days prior to that, Delbert Carver, 23, was arrested for allegedly throwing sex toys onto the floor of two WNBA games last week

At least six dead after mystery 'dairy accident' in Colorado
Six bodies have been discovered on a dairy in Colorado plains, in a tragedy currently being described as 'an accident.' Rescue crews entered a confined space at the dairy Wednesday and recovered the bodies, the Southeast Weld Fire Protection District said. Weld County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Melissa Chesmore said her agency also responded Wednesday to an emergency at the dairy. 'We didn´t find anything criminal in nature,' she said. 'It looks like an accident.' She didn't elaborate on the nature of the emergency or say where exactly the bodies were found, referring questions to state occupational safety regulators. According to CBS News, the Weld County Coroner's Office said a preliminary investigation suggests the six victims were exposed to gas from Prospect Valley Dairy. While the names of the victims have not yet been released, it is understood they were primarily adult men. One of the victims may have been 17 years old, The Independent reported. Dairy Farmers of America confirmed on Thursday the incident took place at one of its member farms. 'We are deeply saddened by this incident, and our thoughts and most sincere condolences go out to the friends and families of the deceased,' the organization said in a statement. 'At this early stage, we have no further details.' The local Keenesburg Police Department said it was not among the responding agencies. The dairy is located along a rural road near Keenesburg, about 35 miles (55 kilometers) northeast of Denver.
