Reacting to the post several internet users flooded the comments section expressing their excitement. A user asked, "Prabhas Hrithik tho combo Prashanth neel sir director?" another wondered, "What if Prabhas×Hrithik Happens," another excited fan said, "Something Big is Cooking."
Meanwhile, Hrithik also expressed his excitement on the collaboration in an official statement, stating, "Hombale has been home to some very unique stories over the years. On the professional front, Hrithik will be next seen in the highly anticipated War 2. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film will feature Jr NTR and Kiara Advani in the key roles. The teaser of the sixth installment of the YRF Spy-universe was released just a few days back, which broke the internet. It is set to release later this year on August 14, 2025.
In addition to this, he also has Krrish 4 in the pipeline, backed by Aditya Chopra, which will also mark his directorial debut.

I am the heroine, sir,' cracking up everyone with her. The security eventually let them inside. On Day 1 of its release, War 2 earned Rs 51.5 crore in India, with the majority coming from the Hindi belt, i.e. Rs 9 crore. From the Telugu-speaking states, the film collected Rs 22.25 crore, thanks largely to Jr. NTR's massive fan base. Can War 2 Surpass Coolie? On Day 2, August 15, the Independence Day holiday gave the film a major boost. By 7 PM on Friday, War 2 had earned Rs 42 crore, bringing its total net collection in India to Rs 93 crore.
