Australia's hottest footy WAG Chelsea Becirevic stuns as she sunbathes on a break from her AFL star boyfriend Ivan Soldo

Daily Mail23-04-2025

Chelsea Becirevic first rose to prominence when she briefly left her AFL star boyfriend because she found life in Adelaide to be a 'struggle' - and now she has jetted out of the City of Churches for some sun and sand on the Gold Coast.
The footy WAG left her Port Power star partner Ivan Soldo at home as she had an early-season break on the glitter strip, where she often holidays.
On Tuesday she worked on her tan at one of the coast's famous beaches, clad in a figure-hugging beige one-piece swimsuit, baseball cap and sunglasses as she took some selfies while relaxing on the sand.
Meanwhile, Soldo was back at their home in South Australia, minding Chelsea's dog and training with the Power.
The situation brings back memories of the couple's brief stint apart last May, when Becirevic left the country just seven months after moving to Adelaide to be with her man after he was traded by Richmond.
She proved the novelty of living in 'Radelaide' had well and truly worn off in an Instagram post in which she announced she was moving to Dubai to start a new life working for an airline.
Responding to questions from her followers, the 24-year-old said she has 'always wanted to work for Emirates, live in Dubai and travel the world. So that's exactly what I'm gonna do'.
Asked if she was taking anyone with her, Becirevic replied, 'Doing this one solo. Never moved anywhere by myself so will be good to gain some independence.
'I've always wanted to move overseas, so I think it'll be an exciting new chapter for me.'
While stressing she and Soldo have no issues, she did reveal, 'He had to move to Adelaide for his career and tbh it's been a struggle for me.
'It [living in Adelaide] is just not for me permanently,' she added, followed by a black heart emoji.
She then revealed that she wanted to live in Melbourne or on the Gold Coast.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail Australia at last year's Melbourne Cup, Becirevic backtracked on her remarks about Adelaide.
'People have taken what I said the wrong way. I never dissed Adelaide, ever. I love Adelaide - I have lived there for the past year,' she said.
'My favourite thing is the beaches; they have beautiful beaches.'
The quick trip to the Gold Coast is just one of several holidays the social media influencer has enjoyed in recent months.
Most notably, she and Soldo enjoyed a luxury trip to Canada over the Christmas break, with the couple skiing at the famous Whistler resort.
Becirevic revealed to her Instagram followers that she was hospitalised shortly after returning home in January, with the reason for the health scare remaining a mystery.
Meanwhile, Soldo is trying to break back into Port Adelaide's AFL side after an up-and-down start to the season.
The ruckman was a late addition to the team for Port's round-three loss to Essendon, but has otherwise been playing in the club's SANFL side.
He featured for the AFL side eight times last year as an old knee injury flared up, forcing him to have surgery that knocked him out of several games.

Rival radio stars Andy Lee and Jack Post clash during 2025 AFL Round 13 at Melbourne Cricket Ground

Andy Lee and Jack Post went head-to-head at the 2025 AFL Round 13 match - not on the field, but behind the mic. The duo, who are rivals when it comes to the footy, exchanged some friendly back and forth banter on Sunday at Melbourne Cricket Ground as they introduced the much-anticipated game. Aussie comedian Andy, 43, who supports the Carlton Blues, wore a blue v-neck sweater over a white tee and some jeans, paired with a Blues scarf repping his team, and a logo-emblazoned cap. Media personality Jack, 37, who cheers on Essendon Bombers, opted for an oversized red and black hoodie over a pair of jeans. 'We are actually doing the pre-game,' Andy said in a video posted to Instagram before the showdown. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'It's going to be a little bit like Katy Perry,' he joked. Despite the Carlton Blues claiming victory, both Andy and Jack wore huge smiles throughout the night as they enjoyed the neck-in-neck game. Andy was spotted jetting into Melbourne on Saturday after a stint in New York, where Hollywood heavyweight Hugh Jackman weighed in on Andy's new business venture: an Aussie pub in the Big Apple. Andy opened his Australian-themed pub Old Mates in Manhattan, back in February. And last Tuesday, the Wolverine star, 56, took to social media to gush over the establishment which is backed by an owner's group that includes Hamish Blake, surfing legend Mick Fanning, as well as Hugh himself. 'Old Mates - how Aussie's eat in NYC. This pub is amazing!' Hugh posted on Instagram. He also shared a gallery of snaps including one which shows the fan favourite flashing his famous grin and posing in front of the venue with his arm around Andy. Hugh also shared a photo taken inside the bar with Andy and Australian-born NYC restaurateur Eddy Buckingham, who is also an investor in Old Mates. A third post shared to Hugh's account showed a stained glass window feature of the bar which spelled out 'New York'. Located in Downtown Manhattan's Financial District, the pub is in a heritage-listed 1840s Greek Revival building that spans all three floors. With the staff dressed in iconic, hard-yakka-inspired blue collared shirts and rugby polos, the pub wouldn't look out of place in The Rocks or at the end of Collins Street. The investors also include Andy Stone (Bluestone Lane), Pat Cummins, Ash Barty, Mick Fanning and Patty Mills.

Daisy May Cooper shares her 'real name' in sweet social media post

In a post marking her son Benji's first birthday this week, Daisy May Cooper seemingly revealed that her legal surname is still the same as her ex-husband, Will Weston Daisy May Cooper has seemingly shared her real legal name as she posted a sweet throwback photo on social media. The actress and writer, who won the 2018 BAFTA TV Award for Best Female Comedy Performance for playing Kerry Mucklowe in the BBC Three series This Country, has always been known by the surname Cooper since rising to fame. However, in a post shared this week, she revealed that her surname is actually Weston. ‌ The photo, shared by Daisy on her Instagram Stories on Friday, is an image of her hospital visit on June 6, 2024, when she gave birth to her son Benji. She wrote: "1 year ago today at 03.04am we welcomed our baby boy into the world." ‌ In the snap, her full name is written as Daisy May Weston - the surname of her ex-husband, Will Weston. The pair married in The Cotswolds in September 2019 and they share to children to whom they are "both devoted parents". However, they decided to part ways in 2021 after the Covid-19 lockdown "shone a spotlight" on their marital difficulties. Daisy, 38, is now in a relationship with her new partner, Anthony Huggins, who is Benji's father. The couple met on dating app Hinge in December 2021 and welcomed their child a year ago. When her youngest son was born, Daisy announced the news via Instagram and detailed how the little one arrived earlier than planned, penning: "You came a bit earlier than we expected and gave me the worst post op constipation that I nearly had to phone the Samaritans but my god you are perfect. "I cannot thank @deliverysuitegrh enough. The way you looked after us through such a scary time was above and beyond." Daisy's pregnancy was announced in March last year when she and Anthony packed on PDA while shopping for baby clothes in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. ‌ The couple held hands when they stepped out for a spot of shopping, with the actress' bump on full display in a figure-hugging all-black look. The pair could barely keep their hands off one another while making the most of the sunny weather, and Daisy was seen heartily laughing as they went about their day. At the time, a source said: "Daisy is pregnant and is really excited to become a mum for the third time with her new partner. The pair have been going strong, so the addition of a baby will only bring them closer together." Then earlier this year, the couple sparked engagement rumours after Daisy was spotted wearing a diamond rock on her ring finger. Speculation that Anthony had popped the question began in February when Daisy was promoting her BBC series Am I Being Unreasonable? on her Instagram Stories and referred to Anthony as her "fiancé" for the first time. In a clip, she jested that her "fit fiancé and baby daddy" would make an appearance on screen. It was reported at the beginning of the year that Daisy and Anthony were happily engaged and "over the moon" with the news after a secret proposal. A source told The Sun at the time: "Daisy and Anthony are madly in love with each other and are a success story for dating apps. Their relationship has gone from strength to strength and already have a baby boy together." In addition to son Benji, Daisy shares children Pip, five, and Jack, three, with her ex Will. After their break-up, Daisy admitted to The Times: "Will is amazing, an incredible, incredible dad - but fundamentally, there wasn't real love there, I don't think there ever was, really." She went on to reveal that the lockdown "shone a spotlight" on their marital difficulties" and that she needed to be by herself after the strains of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Chris Brown's 'crazy tour budget' as he returns to the stage after UK arrest

Chris Brown has returned to the stage for the first time since his arrest in the UK as the singer entertained crowds at a concert in Amsterdam's Johan Cruyff Arena Chris Brown's fans reacted as the singer returned to the stage following his UK arrest last month. The singer was in Amsterdam to kick off his Breezy Bowl XX tour, which is celebrating 20 years of his career. Followers of the controversial star took to social media to share snippets from the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam which showed an impressive stage set up. Among his lavish designs was a huge human statue that toward over the surrounding, which the star is thought to have performed on. Uploading a clip to Twitter/X, one user wrote: "the budget for this chris brown tour is crazy, he's not playing about his 20 years of career," followed by a flame emoji. Another said: "Oh my GOD," as they showcased the set up in their own video. And a third added an image of the statue with the crowd looking up at the performer. His Amsterdam gig comes after he was arrested in the UK last month. His arrest came after he was accused of using a bottle to cause bodily harm to music producer Abe Diaw during a night out at London's Tape nightclub in Mayfair on February 19, 2023. On May 15 this year, Brown was arrested at the Lowry Hotel in Salford. He had recently jetted into nearby Manchester Airport to rehearse for his upcoming Breezy Bowl XX 20th anniversary tour. The singer has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm. He was initially denied bail and is expected to appear in person at Southwark Crown Court next month. District Judge Joanna Hirst told the court that the charge was too serious to be dealt with at the magistrates ' court. However, the 36-year-old star was later granted bail following a court plea. He was ordered to pay a £5 million security fee to the court. The financial guarantee is to ensure a defendant returns to court and may be forfeited if they breach bail conditions. His lawyer, Grace Forbes, had argued that he was a public figure known worldwide as they pleaded for bail to be granted. As well as his Amsterdam performance, Brown is scheduled to perform in cities across the UK, including Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, London and Cardiff. Despite his arrest, Brown's bail conditions enable him to continue with his scheduled international tour this year, including in the UK later this month and July. Following his release on bail, the American singer took to Instagram to tell his 144million followers: "From the cage to the stage!!! Breezybowl." Brown's bold post was seemingly in reference to the fact his bail conditions allow him to honour his tour commitments and perform across Europe ahead of his court date next month.
