where she mostly played soft-spoken, positive characters. But this time, she has taken up a negative role in the upcoming show Saru.
Talking about her role, she says, 'Before this show, I had always done positive leads — characters that were very naive and innocent. I wanted to challenge myself with something new. Even though I've played versatile roles before, this time it's a purely negative character, and I'm very excited about it.'
Her character Anika, is a rich, spoiled brat who sees herself above everyone else. 'She's very arrogant, stylish, and self-absorbed,' she adds.
'She doesn't care about anyone.'
Anushka adds, 'My last show, Main Hoon Aparajita had a slightly grey character where I played a con girl. She was confident, fierce, and bubbly, but not completely negative. Anika is much more negative in comparison.'
So what draws her to such characters? 'I enjoy every character I play. Negative roles, in particular, allow you to expand your creativity and craft. I believe every actor should try new things to learn and grow. I love doing both!I always look for good, meaningful roles, whether they are positive or negative.'

Last Updated: According to Edin Rose, if she had to take inspiration for marriage, it would be Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have set a very high standard for marriage and made it hard for others to match their love and bond. Recently, Edin Rose, who rose to fame with her appearance in Bigg Boss 18, shared her thoughts on the ideal couple in India. She said that for her, Virat and Anushka are the perfect example. Edin feels they truly care for each other and look great together. According to the model, if she had to take inspiration from someone, it would be them. Even though she respects other famous couples like Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Virat and Anushka's relationship is unique. Speaking with Filmygyan, Edin said, 'If you ask me who the ideal couple in India is, I would say only Virat Kohli and Anushka. I think they really love each other. They are such a perfect couple, such a good looking and positive pair. I hope nothing bad ever happens to them. They are very beautiful and a true example. If I had to show someone the kind of marriage I want to have, it would be like theirs. I wouldn't say Deepika and Ranveer. I wouldn't name any other couple. I do love Deepika and Ranveer, and I like all Bollywood marriages, but for me, the ideal marriage is Virat and Anushka's." 'I also think cricketers' wives are really beautiful. It's like they carefully choose their partners. Where do they find such pretty wives? How? So beautiful. I want to manifest that too. I feel like the most beautiful wives in our country are married to cricketers," Edin Rose added. Recently, a sweet moment between Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma during the Indian Premier League (IPL) final caught everyone's eye. After his team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won against Punjab Kings (PBKS), Virat was seen running towards Anushka, and the two shared a warm hug.
