Have you seen missing man Thom Kane in Fort William?
A 56-year-old man who has been reported missing from his home in Greenock may be in the Fort William area.
Officers are appealing for information to trace Thom Kane, who was last seen around 7.30am on Thursday.
Mr Kane was last seen in the Eldon Street area of Greenock.
He is thought to have travelled to the Fort William area in a silver Volvo V60 Cross Country, registration GW15 TRY.
Mr Kane is described as 5ft 10in, of slim build, with short dark hair.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a polo shirt and a black North Face jacket.
Inspector Ross Wilson, of Greenock Police Station, said: 'It is out of character for Thom to be out of contact with his family and friends, and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
'We are carrying out extensive inquiries and would urge anyone who has seen Tom, his vehicle, or who has any information on his whereabouts to please get in touch.'
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1769 of 25 April 2025.

The driver, a 32-year-old man, was arrested and charged in connection with a driving offence and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 2 July, 20."

An eleven-year-old girl was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in an ambulance for treatment. Her current condition is not yet known. The extent of her injuries is also currently unknown. Cops locked down the road for over five hours to allow collision investigators to conduct inquiries. Photos from the scene show half a dozen police cars swarming the area at around 9pm. A van sat parked in the middle of the road, stopping drivers from accessing the road. Two other police cars were seen in the area into the night as officers stood guard. Blue police tape was also erected around the street, blocking access to the public. The road was reopened again at around 1am this morning. Two women aged 32 and 77 killed in Moray crash
Two women have died after a crash in accident happened on the A98 between Buckie and Fochabers, near Enzie, shortly before 12:30 on Tuesday. It involved a Vauxhall Insignia and a Peugeot 32-year-old driver of the Vauxhall and the 77-year-old female passenger of the Peugeot were pronounced dead at the 77-year-old male driver of the Peugeot was flown by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where his condition was described as serious but stable. Sgt Dave Cooper from Police Scotland appealed for witnesses to come forward."Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the two women who died. An investigation into the circumstances is ongoing," he said."We would appeal for anyone who witnessed the crash who has not already spoken to officers, or those who have any dashcam footage that may capture either vehicle prior to the collision, to please come forward."
