Israel: Egypt military enhanced presence in Sinai violates peace deal

Saba Yemen18-02-2025

Occupied Quds - Saba:
Strengthening the military presence in Sinai violates the peace agreement signed between Egypt and Israel after the October 1973 war, the Zionist enemy's ambassador to the United States of America said.
"Egypt is committing a very serious violation of the peace agreement in Sinai," according to what was published by the Hebrew website "Israel Hayom," describing the increase in the Egyptian military presence in Sinai and near the border as "an intolerable situation ," Yehiel Leiter added in his first comment on the matter at a conversation with the heads of Jewish organizations.
According to Leiter, who recently assumed his position, Egypt is working in Sinai to "build bases dedicated only to offensive operations," considering this to represent "serious violations of the agreement between the two sides."
He stressed that this issue has been kept secret for a long time and that the Zionist entity "intends to raise this issue as soon as possible and with all determination."
The Hebrew news website "nziv" published a report under the title "Urgent preparation is required to confront the Egyptian military threat," stressing that the usurping entity must prepare for the possibility of another war with Egypt.
The report explained that the parties concerned with the security and military apparatuses in the usurping entity must reach satisfactory answers and appropriate solutions to urgent questions about: the size of the Egyptian forces currently available for war with the Zionist entity, how much time Egypt needs to reach full recruitment and what are its capabilities? And how can the Zionist occupation army prepare for effective defense in advance against the threat within a realistic time frame?

President congratulates Russian counterpart

Sana'a - Saba: President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Wednesday sent a congratulatory cable to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the friendly Russian people's celebration of Sovereignty Day. The cable read: As your friendly people celebrate Sovereignty Day, I am pleased to extend to Your Excellency my warmest congratulations, along with my cordial wishes for good health, happiness, and further development for your friendly country. As your friendly people celebrate Sovereignty Day, it gives me great pleasure to extend to Your Excellency my warmest congratulations, along with my sincere wishes for your continued health and happiness, and for further growth and prosperity for your friendly country. The Russian role is highly regarded and relied upon in restoring global balance and curbing the blind imperialism that seeks to dominate the sovereignty of nations and interfere in their internal affairs to control the wealth of peoples. We hope that Russia's future role will further promote global peace and stability for all societies and nations—foremost among them the Palestinian cause, as the Palestinian people face genocide at the hands of the brutal Zionist machine, under the cover of American imperialism. Such actions stand in stark violation of all international covenants and agreements. We would like to take this opportunity to reaffirm our country's keenness to deepen the bonds of friendship with your nation in all fields, in a manner that enhances both regional and international security and stability. Govt Media Office in Gaza says enemy deliberately creating chaos by perpetuating starvation, killing starving

Gaza – Saba: The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip confirmed on Wednesday that the Israeli enemy is deliberately creating chaos in the Strip by perpetuating a policy of starvation and deliberately targeting and killing starving people seeking food. The office said in a statement, "In a move that confirms the criminal nature of the Israeli enemy and its policy of using starvation as a weapon of war, its forces have been committing clear crimes for many months - escalating daily - against starving civilians in various governorates of the Gaza Strip." The office explained that this is done "through direct killing, often intentional and sometimes random, by quadcopters, helicopters, or tanks against young men, elderly people, and children who rushed to obtain available food aid to feed their children and families." It added, "100 days ago, the events began with the arrival of a small number of aid trucks to various areas, but they were successively targeted by the enemy or systematic robberies carried out by armed gangs implicitly supported by the enemy, with the aim of igniting chaos on the ground." The office continued, "And when starving citizens gather in search of flour and food, the enemy's "Israeli" tanks and Quadcopter drones advance and begin firing heavily and directly at the starving. This has been repeated periodically, resulting in thousands of martyrs and wounded in a horrific scene." It continued: "Amidst this hell, the starving are retreating towards their homes and houses without access to food. The Israeli enemy has tightly closed all crossings for 100 days, preventing the smooth entry of aid, deliberately undermining the work of international and UN institutions, while sponsoring organized and blatant looting and theft of flour and food. We have documented thousands of victims, including martyrs and wounded, including hundreds of serious injuries and missing persons." The government media outlet condemned this "criminal" policy pursued by the enemy army against the Palestinian people. It held the Zionist enemy fully responsible for this bloody chaos, calling on the international community to take immediate action to protect civilians, halt the enemy's organized crimes against the besieged, starving, and deliberately targeted Palestinian people, and pressure the enemy to open the crossings, allow the entry of aid, and allow its distribution through UN agencies that have been working for seven decades to provide relief to refugees and civilians.
