Al-Falah MADANI forum expands nationwide to strengthen community ties
He said the forum serves as a unified platform for religious leaders to present strategic views on the future of the ummah while strengthening ties between religious institutions and the public.
'In view of the forum's significant and encouraging impact, I propose that the al-Falah MADANI Forum be made a regular programme to be held in strategic locations nationwide,' he said during his speech at the Religious Affairs Agencies Assembly.
Mohd Na'im added that the forum enhances public understanding of current issues, clarifies misconceptions, and fosters closer relationships between the people and religious agency leaders.
In support of the government's national agenda to ease public burdens amid socio-economic challenges, he proposed a joint initiative called 'Santuni al-Falah MADANI: Agenda Kesejahteraan Sosial Ummah'.
The programme, led by the Islamic Economic Development Foundation of Malaysia (YaPEIM), aims to streamline welfare efforts.
'We already have programmes such as visits to asnaf groups and aid distribution, but coordination has been somewhat lacking. With the Santuni al-Falah MADANI programme, it will be more structured and better aligned,' he explained.
The initiative aligns with the second thrust of the al-Falah Transformation Plan, focusing on human wellbeing, particularly Islamic economic sustainability and social welfare. - Bernama

These qualities should be learnt by our MPs in Parliament,' quipped Anwar. Anwar also said he had a packed schedule after returning from Kedah on Friday (July 25) night, and he was set to meet several Islamic scholars, including British musician Yusuf Islam, formerly known as Cat Stevens, at the Prime Minister's official residence. Israeli strikes kill 44 in Gaza, targeting displaced civilians, aid seekers
GAZA CITY (Palestine) — Israeli airstrikes on Friday killed at least 44 Palestinians and wounded dozens more, targeting schools sheltering displaced families, tents, and civilians awaiting aid, according to medical sources and witnesses, Anadolu Ajansi (AA) reported. In the latest attacks, at least 15 people were killed and around 250 others injured in an Israeli strike on a gathering of civilians waiting for aid trucks near the Zikim area, north of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. Shortly before that, two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house near Abu Habib junction in the Zeitoun neighbourhood, southeast of Gaza City. One of the deadliest attacks targeted Al-Qahira School in Gaza City, where thousands of displaced civilians had sought shelter. Medical sources confirmed that five people were killed in the strike, including a child, while 10 others were injured, some critically. Among the wounded were children, one of whom arrived at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City with an amputated arm. Witnesses said the school, packed with displaced families seeking refuge, was targeted directly. Elsewhere in the city, two Palestinians were killed and three others injured in a strike targeting a civilian gathering in the Zeitoun neighbourhood, southeast of Gaza City. Medical sources told Anadolu that a Palestinian waiting for humanitarian aid in Rafah, southern Gaza, was shot dead by Israeli forces. In Gaza City, Israeli strikes killed four Palestinians in Al-Tuffah and Al-Rimal neighbourhoods, targeting civilian gatherings and a school sheltering displaced people. Witnesses reported panic as families fled the scenes. Multiple Israeli airstrikes across Gaza killed at least ten Palestinians and wounded several others. Themed 'A Multidimensional Perspective', the event is held in conjunction with the Sarawak Islamic Council's 70th anniversary celebration. According to State Deputy Minister in Sarawak Premier's Department (Project Coordinator for Regional Development Agencies, Kuching North City Commission and Islamic Affairs) Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, the seminar aims to bring together policymakers, scientists, scholars and leaders to discuss the often-overlooked human dimension of climate change – an essential point in addressing today's global environmental challenges.
