The catfishing scandal that may have played a role in rocker Tommy Lee and his wife Brittany Furlan's recent split has allegedly taken a serious turn — with potential legal consequences.
Ronnie Radke, the singer that Brittany allegedly believed she was chatting with online, spoke with TMZ on Tuesday about how law enforcement is now involved in the bizarre dispute.
The 41-year-old Falling in Reverse frontman opened up about the dispute outside the Beachwood Cafe in Los Angeles after he previously denied that he was part of the social media interactions between Brittany, 38, and a TikTok account allegedly posing as him.
Ronnie claimed in the new interview that the alleged catfishing incident has seriously escalated, as the FBI are now looking into it.
DailyMail.com has contacted representatives to Lee and Furlan for comment.
Radke also alleged on Tuesday that multiple women had been conversing with the account that was posing as him, suggesting a larger scheme that was initially known.

The singer (pictured) also alleged the multiple women have claimed to have conversed with a TikTok count that allegedly impersonated him in conversations with Brittany
'I just don't want people getting tricked and dupes, and so the FBI is now involved,' he said.
Radke claimed that whoever ran the fake TikTok account had committed a 'felony,' and he added that it was 'pretty serious.'
When he was asked if he had any knowledge that an account may have been impersonating him, he admitted to seeing multiple 'Ronnie Radke accounts' on social media sites, but he said he didn't put much stock in them.
'It's very obvious that [the accounts are] not — you can obviously tell that [they are] not real,' he said, explaining that the possibility that an account with his name was sophisticated enough to fool Brittany had taken him by surprise.
Ronnie admitted that he first learned of the scandal when he received a 'very upset' message from Tommy Lee, but he thought the drummer was just 'pranking' him at first.
Although he told Tommy, 62, that he wasn't behind the account, he said the hair metal rocker was 'adamant' that he was responsible, so he began investigating the account on his own.
He claimed that he learned that a handful of women may have been duped by the account, and he claimed that one woman 'flew from Canada to Indianapolis' as the result of deception, though it's unclear exactly how he may have acquired that information.
The performer added that the 'crazy thing' about the whole scheme is that he has allegedly 'never spoken' to Brittany in his life.

He said he learned of the scandal via messages from Tommy, who was 'adamant' that he was behind the TikTok account. Ironically, he claimed to be a huge fan of the drummer and his band, Mötley Crüe
Radke claimed he had since learned that a handful of other women may have been duped by the account. He also clarified that he is 'not attracted' to Furlan and isn't looking to cozy up to her now that she and Lee are separated
He admitted to contacting her recently, but only after she had claimed that he was the person behind the account and accused him of being 'obsessed' with her.
But Ronnie added that he 'feel[s] bad' for everyone who may have been swept up by a fake account.
'I just don't want to be called obsessed by someone I don't even know,' before declaring, 'I feel bad for Tommy. I f***ing love Tommy.'
'I'm a huge fan of f***ing Mötley Crüe and Tommy,' he declared, before offering apologies to the drummer.
Ronnie added that he wanted to 'prove' that he wasn't involved in the catfishing scandal, and he said he had already send in some evidence to the FBI to assist in their investigation, though he didn't share what those details were.
As he tried to get into his Cybertruck to drive away, Ronnie was asked if he had any interest in Tommy's estranged wife after their split, but he bluntly declared: 'I'm not attracted to Brittany.'
Earlier this week, Brittany took to social media to explain give her side of really happened between her and her husband — and how it involved a wild catfishing scandal and Radke.
The Motley Crue rocker and Furlan reportedly split after six years of marriage due to the rocker's drinking problem.

In a shocking TikTok video released on Friday, Furlan revealed she had been the victim of catfishing
The influencer told her fans she had been duped and harassed by someone posing as Falling In Reverse frontman Radke, 41, above, who vehemently denies the claims
While sources told TMZ it was 'unclear' if a divorce filing was in the near future, Lee unfollowed Furlan on Instagram amid their ongoing drama and the content creator has been living in a hotel.
Then, in a shocking TikTok video released on Friday, Furlan revealed she had been the victim of catfishing. The influencer told her fans she had been duped and harassed by someone posing as Falling In Reverse frontman Radke, 41.
'I told my husband everything,' the former Vine star announced. 'I said, "I've been talking to whoever I thought this was on Snapchat, he says it's not him. Cool, whatever,"' Furlan said.
Radke then denied on social media that he ever spoke to Furlan on Snapchat while claiming he ignored her many Instagram direct messages.
In Furlan's original message, she said she was a 'good person,' although she quickly added, 'I'm not a good person for talking to someone while I'm married, [but] I've been going through a lot in my marriage. No excuse, [so] I come clean to my husband.'
She explained that she realized she might not be speaking to the real Radke when she showed up to his old house and he didn't come out.
However, she also asked the real Radke to leave her alone and stop posting about the catfish situation, writing in her TikTok caption: 'I've had enough. He's been harassing me for two weeks. He's been sent three cease and desists and has not listened. For the final time - leave me alone Ronnie.'
She hit out at the claims she was 'stalking' Radke and maintained that her Instagram messages where harmless. 'Go to any of my husband's friends' [profiles], I like all their s**t because I'm supportive,' she said.
Radke shared a video and said it was 'altered' and sent on Snapchat with the voice changed. He also played the original video, where he was next to his girlfriend and bird on his balcony
Radke shared messages from a woman who goes by Alexa Starr. Starr posted an X (formerly Twitter) thread and claimed she had been talking to the same Snapchat user
'I message f***ing everybody. I'm in everybody's DMs all the time, girls, guys [and] whatever. I love people,' she said about sending him multiple messages he didn't respond to, before announcing: 'You're not special.'
Lee also weighed in with a cryptic 'Whose been catfished?' Instagram Story on Friday.
Then, Radke began sharing his own insight into the wild catfishing scandal, sharing multiple posts with his 351,000 followers. Radke, who was previously arrested for domestic violence and has struggled with drug addiction, consistently denied that he was the one speaking to Furlan on Snapchat and explained it wasn't his real account - and if it was, he would have had more views and followers.
He said he was going to 'clear this up for a final time, because Brittany seems to keep posting implying that I'm the catfish she thinks I'm obsessed with her guys. What a delusional, delusional woman.'
He then showed messages Brittany allegedly sent saying he had been 'obsessed' with her 'for years' as well as messages he's received from Tommy Lee. Both said their lawyers are involved.
Radke shared messages from a woman who goes by Alexa Starr. Starr posted an X (formerly Twitter) thread and claimed she had been talking to the same Snapchat user. Starr received raunchy messages from the person behind the account.
'I'm not here to attack anymore,' Radke said in response to Furlan's video. 'I don't care about your infidelity with your husband, that is none of my business,' he continued. 'I have done nothing wrong.'
Radke declared he's never responded to Furlan's multiple messages, followed her back, or liked any of her pictures.
Radke shared messages from the other woman who had been catfished by the fake version of him, who spent $2,000 on plane tickets and got a 'Ronnie is daddy' tattoo on her leg for the man she thought she was speaking to
He shared a video and said it was 'altered' and sent on Snapchat with the voice changed. He also played the original video, where he was next to his girlfriend and bird on his balcony.
Radke split from wrestler girlfriend Saraya Bevis, formerly known as WWE star Paige, in January 2025. He has since seemingly moved on with musician and model Dana Dentata.
Radke said 'the same account' was talking to 'a different girl' and found it 'notable to share.' He shared screenshots of the account talking to another woman and called it 'irrefutable evidence' that it wasn't him.
Radke shared messages from the other woman who had been catfished by the fake version of him, who spent $2,000 on plane tickets and got a 'Ronnie is daddy' tattoo on her leg for the man she thought she was speaking to.
'That's the third account of a girl... that all have been catfished by this person,' he told his followers.

Exclusive: Registered sex offender banned from Spirit Airlines after arrest for groping teenage seatmate
A 65-year-old registered sex offender is facing federal charges for allegedly groping a sleeping teenager on a Spirit Airlines flight. Indiana resident, John Daniel Fowler, later claimed to police that he had merely been reaching down to help right the thermos of the 17-year-old girl in the next seat after it tipped over. Fowler, who pleaded guilty to molesting his step-nephew's girlfriend and is required to register with authorities until November 2033, began the journey with a dust-up at the gate 'due to being charged $100 USD for the size of his luggage,' according to an FBI probable cause affidavit, reviewed by The Independent. 'This incident was not received well by Fowler, who respond[ed] by blurting out that he hoped the plane would crash,' the affidavit states. 'Fowler then apologized and was still allowed to board the aircraft destined to Orlando.' Fowler is now persona non grata with the carrier, a Spirit Airlines spokesperson said Monday. 'Safety is our top priority, and we have zero tolerance for the behavior as alleged,' the spokesperson told The Independent. 'The allegations are serious, and we will provide any necessary assistance to law enforcement in their investigation. Additionally, this individual is no longer welcome on any of our flights.' Fowler does not yet have an attorney listed on the court docket, and was unable to be reached for comment. On July 29, Fowler was on Spirit flight NK 1523 from Indianapolis to Orlando, assigned to an aisle seat, according to the affidavit. In the middle seat was a 17-year-old girl, identified in the affidavit as 'Victim 1.' After takeoff, the affidavit says Victim 1 asked the person seated by the window if she could take a photograph of the view. Fowler then asked Victim 1 if she could send him the photo, and gave her his phone number, the affidavit goes on. During the two-hour-plus flight, Fowler tried to make conversation with Victim 1, but she was not interested and shut him down, the affidavit says. Several times, Victim 1 was forced to physically move Fowler's hand, which kept creeping over to her seat, according to the affidavit. As the plane approached Orlando, Victim 1 was asleep underneath a blanket, and had both feet up on her seat, the affidavit continues. Once the aircraft landed, but before the doors were opened, Victim 1 woke up to find Fowler's hand under her blanket, rubbing her crotch, the affidavit states. Victim 1 screamed until she got the attention of a flight attendant who immediately brought the teen to the front of the plane. Fowler, for his part, was taken to the rear of the aircraft. Once the plane had taxied to the gate, he was questioned by Orlando police, according to the affidavit. 'During the interview, Fowler claimed that he reached down to grab Victim 1's thermos, which had fallen over… and when he came back up his arm touched her leg,' the affidavit states. Fowler denied touching the girl's private parts, and maintained he was 'not on any medication or alcohol at the time,' the affidavit says. Officers interviewed Victim 1 as well as the cabin crew at the same time. The FBI, along with a children's forensic examiner, spoke with her on August 1. Fowler was charged the same day with abusive sexual contact aboard an aircraft, which carries up to three years in federal prison; and a potential 10-year enhancement for having committed a new crime while a registered sex offender. The affidavit concludes with a recap of Fowler's November 2023 conviction, citing details from a probable cause affidavit that says he sexually assaulted a sleeping victim in her home. Fowler, who the victim told police was 'her boyfriend's step-dad's brother,' had been staying in the garage on an air mattress, the affidavit states. Her age is unclear. State court records show Fowler was given a two-year suspended sentence, with credit for time served while awaiting trial, and was sentenced to probation. After an undisclosed violation in 2024, GPS location monitoring was added to Fowler's probation terms. In July, a Texas aerospace executive flying American Airlines from Boston to Washington, D.C. was arrested after allegedly masturbating openly while pawing at the passenger seated next to him. (The suspect told police he was 'stretching his arms.') In March, a 55-year-old man was banned permanently from American after his third accusation of mid-flight sexual misconduct. A month before, a traveler sued Alaska Airlines, claiming she had been sexually assaulted by an inebriated passenger. Last year, the FBI issued an alert about sexual assault aboard commercial aircraft, a crime the bureau said was 'on the rise.'

Russian TikTokers forced to issue grovelling apology by Putin after filming video at oil depot blown up by Ukraine
TWO Russian TikTokers were forced to issue a grovelling apology after filming in front of a flaming Russian plant following a Ukrainian strike. Social media influencers Dasha Vladimirovna 21, and Karina Evgenyevna, 19, were filmed rapping in front of the Rosneft-Kubannefteprodukt oil depot in Sochi. 7 Russian zoomers Dasha Loskutova, 21, and Karina Oshurkova, 20, and their unidentified male friend were paraded in a Russian court today Credit: East2West 7 Then they were forced to record an apology Credit: East2West 7 They were seen filmed rapping in front of burning oil depot hit by a Ukrainian drone in Sochi Credit: East2West The energy plant was on fire after being hit by a massive Ukrainian drone attack, which is understood to have infuriated Moscow. But the TikTok stars were seen glorying in the Ukrainian strike, which the Russian air defences failed to prevent. The video was posted to a track called Crimson Dawn by singer Endshpil, a Russian rapper. Both influencers were immediately arrested. New footage has since emerged showing the two TikTokers being paraded in a Russian court. Then they were forced to record an apology saying: 'We sincerely apologise for filming the video against the backdrop of a fire and posting it on a social network. 'We did not post the video with the intention of insulting or offending anyone. 'We pledge not to make such mistakes again. We are ready to be punished under Russian law.' A police "wanted" notice was issued after the initial TikTok video made rounds on the internet. It said: "During Internet monitoring, a publication was found showing two girls filming a video against the backdrop of a fire in Sochi. Oil depot EXPLODES as Ukraine launches major strike on Russian city of Sochi "The police have initiated an investigation, measures are being taken to identify the girls, and their actions will be legally assessed." Later it was confirmed that the duo had been detained, and there were calls from pro-war outlets for them to issue a public apology over the stunt close to Sochi airport. Both of them were fined £280 for filming near the burning site. Moscow takes an increasingly aggressive, extreme stance against social media stunts seen as highlighting Ukraine's successes in the war. A Ukrainian outlet Pravda Gerashchenko mocked: 'Russian zoomers are happy about the burning oil depot in [Sochi] - a new location for selfies. 'Ukrainian defence forces will definitely try to create as many such locations as possible.' Ukraine's general staff on Monday confirmed it had carried out a drone attack on a fuel depot of Sochi airport in southern Russia on Sunday. He said drone wreckage hit an "oil tank, which caused a fire" during the nighttime attack. Sochi's mayor, Andrei Proshunin, said there were no victims and that the fire was put out several hours later. He confirmed that the fire had been caused by a nighttime drone strike, with debris hitting an oil tanker. Local officials said 90 firefighters were involved in bringing the blaze under control.
