Bulls announcer summed up the wild game-winner by quoting a classic TV show
The final six seconds of Thursday night's NBA game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls were wild.
In fact, wild just doesn't do it justice. After inbounding the ball, the Lakers took a one-point lead with 3.3 seconds left thanks to a driving layup by Austin Reaves. Things looked dicey for the home team, but Josh Giddey's half-court (plus a little) heave hit nothing but net to give the Bulls the victory.
Thankfully for everyone, the Bulls commentator duo of Adam Amin and Stacey King were on the call. After Amin skillfully described the final two plays of the game, King hopped in with one of the most incredible and hilarious reactions to a game-winner in recent memory.
"Oh. My. God. I cannot believe this!" King shouted. "Elizabeth, I'm coming baby! Oh lord!"
The "Elizabeth" comment, of course, is a reference to a line that Redd Foxx's character would always say in the 70s sitcom Sanford and Son. An incredible pull from the Bulls basketball legend.
After the game, King took to his Instagram to comment about the game and share a clip from Sanford and Son.
Perfect execution, no notes.

Stephen A. Smith Takes Firm Stand for Deion Sanders After He Defends Shedeur Sanders' Professionalism

Stephen A. Smith Takes Firm Stand for Deion Sanders After He Defends Shedeur Sanders' Professionalism originally appeared on Athlon Sports. After months of speculation, Shedeur Sanders' draft stock took a nosedive — sliding all the way to the fifth round despite once being viewed as a potential first-round talent. That fall wasn't just pinned on Shedeur. His father, Deion Sanders, came under fire, too. Advertisement Some reports alleged Shedeur showed up unprepared to team meetings, even suggesting he wore headphones during interviews — rumors that Deion publicly called 'foolish' and 'hurtful.' The Colorado coach insisted his son was fully professional, and now, he's not alone in defending that narrative. On a recent episode of "First Take," Stephen A. Smith took the opportunity to get personal — defending Deion Sanders' character and credibility in the face of mounting speculation. Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders and quarterback Shedeur Sanders© Ron Chenoy-Imagn Images 'Let's go a little bit deeper here,' Smith said. 'You guys are champions. You both played in the National Football League. Let's get personal. You know Deion Sanders enough. Has anybody ever been in a position to say Deion Sanders is a liar? Ever?' Advertisement Smith continued, 'We have all talked about him for years. Have you ever run across anybody that said Deion Sanders said one thing to your face and something else behind your back? That's not who that man is. So when he comes out and he says something about his son, there is no question he has spoken to his son. There is no question that Deion Sanders prepped his son for those interviews.' It's the latest in a string of high-profile defenses of the Sanders family, as Deion Sanders and his sons continue to operate under a media microscope. Shedeur's fall in the draft was widely dissected, with some critics pointing fingers at perceived arrogance or poor preparation. But with insiders like Smith backing the Sanders camp, those claims appear shakier by the day. Shedeur Sanders, now with the Cleveland Browns, has started making noise early at OTAs. According to Deion Sanders' Instagram, the rookie QB reportedly went 7-of-9 with three touchdowns and no interceptions in one recent session — an eye-catching stat line that could shift the narrative as fast as it turned. Advertisement With Deion standing firm, and Smith joining him on national television, the message is clear: the Sanders family isn't going to stay quiet while their professionalism is questioned. Angel Reese's Ex-Boyfriend Sends Bold Message About Flirting on Thursday

Angel Reese's Ex-Boyfriend Sends Bold Message About Flirting on Thursday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Cam'Ron Fletcher is back in the spotlight — and this time, it's not for his game. The former Florida State basketball player, best known in the sports world for his past high-profile relationship with WNBA star Angel Reese, caught attention Thursday after posting a personal Instagram Story that left people talking. Advertisement It's been almost two years since Fletcher and Reese began dating publicly in June 2023, and more than a year since Reese confirmed their split during an Instagram Live in March 2024. Though the breakup wasn't deeply explained, Reese alluded to a rough ending, saying she had 'put (her) energy into too many people that don't deserve (it).' Now, Fletcher seems to be reflecting. In a story posted to his Instagram, he shared a message that alluded to recent emotional struggles and hesitations around dating. It wasn't subtle — and for many, it felt like a window into his state of mind post-breakup. Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese and Phoenix Mercury forward Alyssa Scuteri-Imagn Images 'I be flirting with y'all queens but my anxiety been too damn high lately to link & act like I'm fake interested,' he wrote. Advertisement Reese, meanwhile, has stayed fully focused on the court. The Chicago Sky forward is in her second WNBA season and helping her team ride a two-game win streak. With Caitlin Clark sidelined for the Indiana Fever due to a quad injury, Reese will be one of the biggest names on the floor when the two teams face off Saturday. Outside basketball, Reese is making waves with her Reebok partnership. While she doesn't yet have her own signature sneaker, that's expected to change soon. Early previews of her upcoming basketball shoe have already surfaced, with an official launch anticipated in 2026. Once it is released, Reese will join an elite group of WNBA players with a signature line — cementing her influence both on and off the court. Advertisement Whether Fletcher's message was meant to get something off his chest or say something more, one thing is clear: Angel Reese isn't looking back.
