Dr. Jaleela added that the Bahrain Oncology Centre was granted VERTEX certification in May 2024, officially recognizing it as a centre for bone marrow transplantation and cell therapy. The accreditation followed a rigorous evaluation process that confirmed the Centre's compliance with international standards for stem cell collection, handling, and transplantation.
