Right pick!
I am extremely happy to read the news article ('Zohran Mamdani, a 33-year-old Muslim socialist, wins New York City mayoral primary,' Gulf Today, June 25, 2025.) on Gulf Today website. This is incredible news. I salute New Yorkers for showing what they can do. They have exhibited that they are sensible and progressive. They voted for growth and peace. They rejected the wrong person. I feel this is new America. This is the beginning of a change. Young socialist candidate Zohran closed in on victory in the Democratic mayoral primary in New York City, with the 33-year-old stunning his opponent, former New York governor Andrew Cuomo, in Tuesday's elections. In what appears to be the left-leaning city's rebuke of the Democratic Party's veteran moderates, Mamdani led with 43 per cent of the vote with 95 per cent of ballots counted, city officials reported. I hope Zohran brings what he has promised. Zaiyan H. By email
