2025 Peter Mulholland Cup live stream: Endeavour SHS v St Dominic's College, semi-finals
Endeavour Sports High attacking weapon Jyarah Delaney will be a crucial part of their work on the ball as they aim to bounce back against a St Dominic's College side spearheaded by Panthers young gun Hunter Bell.
The winner of Wednesday's semi-final stoush will book a preliminary final spot opposite reigning Peter Mulholland Cup champions Patrician Brothers Blacktown.
The semi-final will be exclusively live streamed for free on KommunityTV and News Corp Australia digital mastheads.
Bell is one of the most exciting talents coming through the Panthers junior pathways, and he proved why when he helped deliver a sublime quarter-final win over All Saints College, Maitland.
The fullback sliced and diced the All Saints defence, scoring one and setting up another.
'He is our fullback and captain, and he was really good,' St Dominic's coach Kyle Churchill said. 'He showed some real touches of class at the right time for us.'
But Bell wasn't alone, with Churchill also pointing out a pair of top age backrowers in Cooper Merton (Dragons) and Ryan Gonclaves (Panthers), who have taken it upon themselves to shoulder much of the burden of St Dominic's rise to the finals.
'They are both really reliable and really physical, and probably underestimated in this competition,' Churchill said.
'They are massive for us. The balance of our team is we don't have a lot of under-18s players, so having that select bunch with the experience of being that bit older and bit more physical. They take on more of that responsibility.
'It means our younger blokes then have the opportunity to do what they need to do.'
Endeavour Sports High will be smarting after coughing up a 10-point second half lead to a rampaging Bass High in the qualifying finals.
Delaney was emphatic in a first half fight-back for the boys from the Shire, setting up a try before scoring one of his own in the middle of a four-try run.
But a sin-binning midway through the second half brought it all undone for Endeavour as they coughed up two tries while down a man.
But with a representative-level forward pack that features two-time Australian Schoolboys star Tom Dellow, and Sharks SG Ball bash brothers Jake White and Hudsyn Frost, Endeavour will not be a side worth underestimating.
'It doesn't matter who they put on the team sheet, we know we are going to have to work hard against Endeavour,' Churchill said.

South Africa ODI bowler reported over suspect action
South Africa's spinning allrounder Prenelan Subrayen has been reported over a suspect bowling action after the Proteas' victory in the first one-day international against Australia. The 31-year-old offspinner, who took the key wicket of Travis Head early on before taking 1-46 in his 10 overs, had been making his ODI debut in the 98-run win in Cairns on Tuesday. But in the match officials' report, concerns were cited about the legality of his bowling action. With Subrayen now having to face an independent assessment of his action at an ICC-accredited testing facility within 14 days, the news is a blow to the Proteas who are already having to cope without injured star paceman Kagiso Rabada. After losing the T20I series 2-1, the Proteas are eyeing revenge in the ODI series with two matches still to be played in Mackay on Friday and Sunday. It was only two months ago that Subrayen also earned his first Test appearance against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo, and he was immensely proud and emotional after the honour of receiving his first ODI cap in Cairns. Subrayen has previously had plenty of scrutiny over his action, starting well over a decade ago. In December 2012, Cricket South Africa (CSA) placed him under rehabilitation after two separate independent tests showed his action to be illegal, but he was cleared to bowl again in January 2013 after re-testing. Subrayen was subsequently reported twice the following two years during matches, before he was eventually cleared to resume bowling after having his action examined at South Africa's national performance centre in March 2016.

Boxing: Nikita Tszyu wins comeback fight against Lulzim Ismaili, undefeated, live updates, full card
Nikita Tszyu has wasted little time celebrating his return to the ring, ending his comeback fight against Lulzim Ismaili after just one round. The son of Kostya and younger brother of Tim, the promising Nikita Tszyu had a 10-0 record entering Wednesday night in his three-year professional boxing career. Nikita Tszyu vs Lulzim Ismaili | Wednesday 20 August 7PM AEST | Order this PPV event now with Main Event on Kayo Sports. He took on previously undefeated Macedonian Ismaili (12-1) in a super welterweight bout at Sydney's ICC Exhibition Centre as the Aussie tested out his surgically repaired left hand for the first time in 12 months. The 27-year-old showed few issues, however, as he dropped Ismaili with a huge left hand just over a minute into the first round. Ismaili seemed to want nothing to do with Tszyu's power, surviving the first round but then refusing to get off his stool to start the second. Picture: Thomas Lisson The Tszyu family is among the most revered in Aussie boxing history, although Tim Tszyu and his camp have received some flak after he lost his world title and has fallen short in three of his past four fights. Nikita had a message for the haters shortly after his victory. 'Thank you to my team for always being there number one,' he said. 'They've copped a lot of criticism with my brother's recent fights, but we're here til the end. 'This is my family.' (Photo by Tayfun Coskun/Anadolu via Getty Images) Tszyu, who goes by the ring name 'The Butcher', demonstrated in the build-up to his first fight since August last year he is a unique character, even among boxers. Tszyu raised plenty of eyebrows when he revealed his wife's placenta in capsule form and breast milk were part of his pre-fight diet. Whatever his approach, it appears to be having the desired effect as he took another step forward in his young career. Michael Zerafa also looked strong as he dominated his fight against American Mikey Dahlman, setting up a potential showdown with Nikita Tszyu in the future. Brock Jarvis also overcame a slow start to also get back on the winner's list following his brutal defeat to Keith Thurman earlier this year. Check out how the big night of boxing unfolded below.
