YouTube is taking AI to disrupt its creator market by offering Shorts videos that can be created using basic text prompts. The video streaming platform intends to bring Google's Veo 3 AI model to the feature which makes shooting a video and creating a script redundant in a big way. The integration of Veo 3 into YouTube Shorts is expected later this year and the update was shared by YouTube CEO Neal Mohan at an event recently. Like any other AI model launched this year, you can generate content by offering text prompts. Google is aiming to go AI-centric with most of its products but Shorts pivoting to AI could mean trouble for those who make a living because of the platform. YouTube's AI Push For Shorts: Worrying Signs Veo 3 AI model works with Google's paid AI plans so YouTube will need to unlock that aspect to allow people to use the feature. AI content has become a concern for privacy and deep fake experts and creating videos using text prompts could go haywire without adequate moderation in place. The company is seeing over 200 billion views per day on Shorts, which translates into a hefty pay for the creators. Actor Nani, who was recently seen in HIT 3, opened up about a film that left a deep emotional impact on him, 'Meiyazhagan'. The actor described it as one of the most beautiful and personal cinematic experiences he's had in recent 'Meiyazhagan' "an absolute beauty," Nani was visibly moved while talking about the film during the promotions of his film HIT3. "I think one of my most favourite films in this entire decade is 'Meiyazhagan'," he said. 'Forget crying — I was overwhelmed,' said Nani during an interview with the YouTube channel Cinema actor praised the film for its emotional depth and authenticity, contrasting it with the high-budget spectacles that dominate Indian cinema today. 'You can build sets. You can spend thousands of crores. That is respected, appreciated — all that. But this (Meiyazhagan) is magic. Oh, this is something else,' he added. Nani also reflected on the challenge of translating something so intimate and personal onto the screen, calling 'Meiyazhagan' a rare kind of storytelling. 'This... to touch that moment. Something which is so personal, extremely personal. How do you tell this story?' 'Meiyazhagan' has clearly struck a chord with Nani.
