Finals glory for Brewers and Wrexham Warriors in Mold
Wrexham Warriors' player-coach Trevor Welsted was understandably delighted and he said: "A nice way to finish out the season. To a man, each member of the team put in a great effort.
"Wyddgrug always play hard but we got out to an early lead and hustled well."
The big event of the day was the clash between Mold Magic and Brewers for the play-off cup.
It didn't disappoint, with the respective teams exchanging baskets throughout. Brewers managed to pull ahead in the final quarter and they ended up winning 72-62.
Coach Adam Lloyd said: "We've overcome every challenge, every setback, every obstacle.
"We've celebrated new baby Brewers being born and new players joining our family.
"Now we have once again captured the North Wales Basketball Association's biggest prize. Shout-out to Mold Magic for pushing us all season."
There's lots going on this summer in North Wales.
Basketball Wales have their annual 3x3 competition at Flint, where the organisation is using a grant to refurbish the outdoor courts before the event. The competition is all set to take place on Saturday, July 26.

August 17 - Pinch hitter Andruw Monasterio hit a go-ahead three-run home run in the top of the 11th inning on Saturday to propel Milwaukee to a 6-5 victory over the host Cincinnati Reds as the Brewers set a franchise record with their 14th straight win. The Brewers broke a 38-year record established by the 1987 team, which began the season 13-0. After Reds reliever Joe La Sorsa (0-1) allowed Monasterio's second homer of the year, Milwaukee's Nick Mears surrendered Santiago Espinal's run-scoring sacrifice fly and Noelvi Marte's solo home run to pull the Reds within a run with two outs. Mears then got Matt McLain to fly out, securing the team's win and his first save of the season. The Brewers trailed 2-1 in the top of the ninth. Brice Turang and Tyler Black began the inning with walks against Cincinnati closer Emilio Pagan. August 16 - After a remarkable rally extended their winning streak, the Milwaukee Brewers will seek a club-record 14th straight victory when they visit the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday evening. If the Brewers win, they will break a tie with the 1987 team that won its first 13 of the season. That club earned the moniker "Team Streak" with amazing comebacks and different heroes. On Friday night, the current Brewers matched the '87 team with a stunning comeback, wiping out an 8-1 deficit to post a 10-8 victory over the Reds. The result leaves the Brewers a season-best 33 games over .500 at a major-league-leading 77-44. The stars of that '87 team included Rob Deer and Dale Sveum, who homered in the ninth inning for a walk-off win in the 12th game of the 13-0 start. Milwaukee scored five times in the ninth to top the Texas Rangers 6-4 on April 19, 1987. On Friday, Christian Yelich led the way, hitting two homers as part of his four-hit, five RBI night, though he fell a triple shy of his fourth career cycle. He is one of six players who hold the all-time record with three cycles. Friday night marked the start of Players' Weekend, during which major league players can use specially made equipment for a cause.
