Fans Beg Travis Kelce To 'Close His Legs' After 'Manspreading' At Stanley Cup Game

and made headlines once again, this time for their surprise appearance at the Stanley Cup Finals on Thursday night in Florida. But while the power couple's presence thrilled many, it also sparked a wave of fan reactions ranging from playful panic to heated backlash, specifically regarding Travis Kelce's outfit of choice. The couple, currently spending their summer in the Sunshine State as Kelce gears up for the upcoming NFL season, took a break from their routines to watch the Florida Panthers take on the Edmonton Oilers. The intense Game 4 ended in a nail-biting 5-4 victory for the Oilers, tying the series 2-2, but the action in the stands was just as buzzworthy. Swift turned heads in a chic, laid-back sweatsuit while Kelce repped his Kansas City pride in a bold red sweater and shorts. But the Chiefs star's shorts were a bit too short for some fans' comfort, especially when the camera zoomed in during an intimate moment in the couple's VIP suite. 'Travis, please close your legs. I feel anxious,' one X user wrote on social media, resharing the clip. 'I DIDN'T WANNA BE THE ONE TO SAY IT, but holy hell, the manspreading. I'm stressing for him,' another joked, referencing the NFL star's past wardrobe malfunction during an interview with comedian Andrew Santino. "That was way more than I needed to see Travis," a third wrote. "MY EYES," someone else said. While Travis Kelce's leg-baring moment had fans nervously laughing, Swift wasn't as lucky in the comments section. The pop superstar once again found herself under fire from critics who accused her of 'ruining everything' just by showing up. 'We don't care about Taylor Swift!' one user ranted. 'Do they really need to ruin hockey too?' another chimed in. 'Get her away from the game.' The backlash echoes the scrutiny Swift faced throughout the NFL season, where some viewers voiced their frustration over her on-screen presence during Kelce's games. But not everyone was here for the hate. 'The comments here are disgusting,' one fan wrote in her defense. 'If a woman attending a hockey game bothers you so much, TV isn't for you! I guarantee she has significantly less screen time than any commercial you sit through.' "Allow me to say it again: if you are mad that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are shown, that's a you problem," someone else said. "Because I don't see any slander of any other celebrity when they're shown. Just look at the two; they're so happy to be together and that makes me happy." While their Stanley Cup appearance stirred plenty of controversy, not all the buzz surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce was negative. In fact, one quietly captured moment had fans swooning. Amid whispers of a possible secret wedding, a lip reader has decoded a private exchange between the couple that took place as they arrived at the Amerant Bank Arena in Florida. The intimate moment was caught on camera and later analyzed by expert NJ Hickling, who revealed to Daily Mail just how supportive and adorable Swift was during the chat. According to the breakdown, the two were discussing jackets and a potential role Kelce might play, referencing his recent ventures into acting. Travis Kelce, who's already appeared in "My Dead Friend Zoe," "Happy Gilmore 2," and an upcoming Jean-Michel Basquiat documentary, showed Swift something on his phone. 'Yeah 'cos I'm big, they're quite good jackets. It'll be tailored, has a hat and everything,' Travis reportedly said. Taylor replied with, 'That's crazy,' sipping her drink before he showed her more. She then added, 'Oh wow.' When Travis asked, 'Do you want that?' Taylor didn't miss a beat, smiling and replying sweetly, 'You'd look like a movie star.' The tight end then concluded, 'That looks like the perfect one.' While they haven't addressed the swirling marriage rumors directly, their public appearances, full of effortless affection and inside jokes, are giving fans plenty to speculate (and swoon) over.

PICTURED: Travis Kelce's $20 Million Florida Hideaway Where He's Shaping Up for the NFL Season

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, have a plethora of properties between them—yet the NFL pro has seemingly decided to eschew all of them in favor of renting an entirely new abode in Boca Raton, FL, where he is reportedly hunkering down to get in shape for the upcoming football season. Kelce, 35, is said to have taken up residence at an extravagant $20 million mansion in an exclusive gated community, where the Daily Mail reports he is focusing on fitness and health in a bid to retake the Super Bowl championship that he and his team lost in a devastating matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Advertisement According to the outlet, Kelce was seen moving into the six-bedroom waterfront mansion in April, when he arrived at the property with his close friend Ross Travis and private chef Kumar Ferguson, as well as a collection of his luxury cars. With rumors circulating that the upcoming NFL season could be Kelce's last, an unnamed insider told the publication that he is focusing his time in the Sunshine State on ensuring he's in the best possible physical and mental condition to go out with a bang. 'Travis is keeping the noise out and putting in the work. If this is his final year in the NFL, he's determined to go out on a high,' the source said. has contacted Kelce's spokesperson for comment. Advertisement To that end, Kelce and his pals are understood to be spending much of their time at the rented property, which was built in 2020 and last sold for $15 million in June 2023. Estimates suggest it could be worth between $18 million and $20 million today. The enormous dwelling, which is located in the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club, certainly provides a luxurious backdrop for Kelce's rigorous health and fitness program, which is said to include extensive workouts and a strict diet prepared for him especially by Ferguson. According to the Daily Mail, the group heads to the nearby Johnny O's Gym, where Kelce is understood to be training with strength and conditioning coach Andrew Spruill. The workout facility is described as 'South Florida's largest indoor/outdoor training facility' and offers group classes, personal training sessions, and a cold plunge pool. Advertisement Although impressive, those amenities pale in comparison to the ones that Kelce can enjoy inside his rented mansion, which spans 8,341 square feet and boasts six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and one half-bathroom. 'Get cozy in the master suite next to the quartzite Cristallo linear fireplace wall, and start your day off right with drinks at the morning bar,' a previous listing for the home said of its luxurious aesthetic. 'Private access to a covered balcony provides mesmerizing island views. In the wood-beamed kitchen, Wolf appliances, two porcelain-topped contrasting islands, and a breakfast bar make it easy to whip up something delicious, and with an attached 10-person dining area, there's room for everyone at the table. 'After dark, tuck in for a movie night in the media room, which uses motorized window shades to create a home theater ambiance, and grab a drink from the custom-crafted wooden club bar. A temperature-controlled wine room with a 459-bottle capacity makes storing and serving simple.' Advertisement It's unclear whether Swift, 35, has yet paid a visit to the dwelling. However, Kelce recently took a break from his training to reunite with his girlfriend in Philadelphia for a Mother's Day brunch at the exclusive eatery Talula's Garden. They were joined by Kelce's brother, Jason Kelce, and his wife, Kylie, as well as the Kelce matriarch, Donna. Before that, the duo are said to have enjoyed an Easter getaway at Swift's Rhode Island mansion, where they spent time with the pop star's family. It's not known how long Kelce plans to remain in Florida. He will likely be expected to return to Kansas City by mid-July, which is typically when the Chiefs begin their preseason training camp. Advertisement During the season, Kelce resides in equal luxury—albeit without the balmy temperatures that can be found in the Sunshine State—courtesy of his $6 million mansion, which he snapped up in 2023, shortly after he went public with his romance with Swift, who has since been a regular visitor to the property. The house features six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a chef's kitchen, a formal dining room, a media lounge, a wine cellar, and a full bar. A beautiful pool sits outside alongside manicured lawns. Nearby, there's an outdoor kitchen, tennis and pickleball court, waterfall, hot tub, and miniature golf course. Located inside a gated community, the grand estate sits on nearly 3.5 acres at the end of a cul-de-sac. The mansion is far more secluded than his other home in Kansas City, a 4,200-square-foot mansion in the Briarcliff West neighborhood that he purchased for $995,000 in 2019. Related Articles

‘I feel so lucky to be part of it': Tim Bagley on finding love, laughter, and belonging in ‘Somebody Somewhere'

When Tim Bagley joined the cast of HBO's critically acclaimed Somebody Somewhere, he stepped into a world that, for many viewers, felt like home. As Brad, Bagley delivered one of television's most tender portrayals of late-in-life love, spirituality, and self-discovery — themes rarely explored in LGBTQ narratives on screen. With equal parts humor and heartbreak, Brad's story resonated deeply with Bagley, whose own life experiences have profoundly influenced his performance. In a recent interview with Gold Derby, Bagley reflected on joining the cast in its sophomore season, how he approached Brad's emotional complexities, and why Somebody Somewhere is such a rare gem in today's television landscape. More from GoldDerby "Ron Howard, Bryan Cranston, Sarah Polley, and Dave Franco reflect on how they do - and don't - relate to their roles in 'The Studio' Inside the comedy pressure cooker: How 'SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night' exposed the madness behind the magic of 'Saturday Night Live' Leslie Bibb breaks down her aha moments filming 'The White Lotus': 'Kate suddenly got jealous' "I feel really lucky because I was not in the first season," Bagley said. "I absolutely loved that first season – it really resonated with me and my experience. I loved the style of it, the humor, and how it felt like a slice of life. Watching these people in a small Midwestern town find their own community? I connected with that. When I moved to L.A. back in 1909 — well, '76,' he joked, 'I had to find my people, too. That sense of belonging is something I really responded to.' Sandy Morris/HBO Bagley's debut on the show was unforgettable, starting with Brad's over-the-top musical performance. "Bridget Everett asked me, 'Can you sing?' And I said, 'Not really.' So she said, 'Well, I want you to sing an aria.' I learned this song called 'Danza Danza Fanciulla Gentile,' an Italian song, and it was the hardest thing to learn. But I knew the way to make it funny was to commit to it 100 percent, because Brad's such a genuine guy, just walking his path.' Brad's quirky introduction also included the ill-fated 'St. Louis Sushi' scene, which delighted viewers with its hilariously disastrous consequences. 'Sam [Everett] and Joel [Jeff Hiller] just get explosive diarrhea,' Bagley laughed. 'It was the greatest introduction!' SEE 'It changed my life': Bridget Everett reflects on the emotional end of 'Somebody Somewhere' In the show's third and final season, Bagley's portrayal took an even more emotional turn. In one standout episode, 'Dinky Dinkies,' Brad collaborates with Sam to write a heartfelt song for Joel. This forces Brad to confront his feelings in a moment of raw vulnerability. Offscreen, the scene was deeply personal for Bagley, rooted in his own life experiences. 'Bridget called me at home one day and said, 'I'm thinking of writing this song.' She knew my partner had passed away in 1995, and she asked, 'What did you love most about him?' I told her, 'Everything.' But when she pushed for something specific, I said, 'Just the way he looked at me. It made me feel loved and wanted.'' Everett crafted Brad's song around these sentiments, tailoring it to fit the character's emotional limitations. 'She told me, 'You're not going to be able to sing this — it'll be too hard for you to expose yourself like that.'' Bagley recalled filming the scene with Everett and Hiller, describing their support. 'We shot it in just a couple of takes. As an actor, you're always wondering, 'Do you have what you need?' But I was standing there between Jeff and Bridget, and the way they looked at me. … Bridget's kindness and generosity, and Jeff's emotional connection to me, made it so much easier.' Brad and Joel's relationship broke new ground, offering a nuanced portrayal of older gay men navigating love, faith, and independence. For Bagley, that made Brad's journey extraordinary in its simplicity. 'One thing you don't often see in the gay community is how people manage their spirituality,' he observed, reflecting on his own struggles with faith growing up. 'In my youth, religion equated homosexuality with pedophilia and murder. Churches weren't welcoming.' Brad and Joel's discussions about faith, including Joel's discomfort with Brad's church, offered fertile ground for storytelling. 'I loved how this unfolded — it's not something you see very often in gay stories,' Bagley said. The show also explored the challenges of finding companionship later in life. 'Brad's used to being on his own, living independently, but then he meets this guy he really likes, and suddenly, they're figuring out how to share their lives. It's beautiful how the series highlights small, tender moments like whether or not to put magnets on the refrigerator.' Photo credit: Sandy Morris/HBO SEE 'We could do this show forever': 'Somebody Somewhere' creators on final season, heart, and the humor of Bridget Everett In another poignant scene in Episode 5, titled "Num Nums," Brad shares his coming-out story over an awkward Thanksgiving dinner, echoing the experiences of many who came out later in life. Bagley appreciated the careful handling of the moment, drawing from his own journey for authenticity. 'Early in my career, I tried all different kinds of modalities to not be gay,' he revealed. 'I went to therapy, a sex surrogate, conversion therapy. Eventually, I realized this is what it is, and I have to figure out a way to love myself in this and move forward.' Director Lennon Parham guided Bagley through the scene, grounding Brad's delivery with a tender, matter-of-fact tone. '[She said], 'This is your story, and you know it very well, so it's not like you're discovering it for the first time.' That helped me capture the tension between shame and normalcy." Photo credit: Sandy Morris/HBO Reflecting on his decades-long career — which includes over 170 acting credits — Bagley expressed gratitude for the opportunity to create such a layered, authentic character. 'A lot of times as a gay character, you're a caricature — a clown. You're, 'Here's your salad, ma'am.' But Brad felt different. He's so real, navigating life's struggles and joys with heart, humor, and dignity.' Bagley also pointed out how times have changed for LGBTQ actors. Early in his career, auditioning for a gay role was seen as a risk. 'For a gay person to play a gay role? It could ruin your career,' he recalled. 'I remember auditioning for Wings to play Abe Benrubi's partner, and my agent warned me, 'This could really ruin things for you.' I remember going to bed that night and thinking, 'Why am I going to let fear stop me from playing something that I can play?' Back then, they'd cast straight people in gay roles to avoid controversy. Even Will & Grace made a point of casting a straight actor (Eric McCormack) as Will. They made it very clear they weren't going to look at anybody that was gay for that role. We live in a different time now, and I'm grateful for that.' For Bagley, Somebody Somewhere stands out as a rare and special show. 'It's so Midwestern, so full of heart, and so incredibly funny,' he says. 'I find humor in the painful existence of life, and this show captures that perfectly. It's just so beautiful, and I feel so lucky to be part of it.' Somebody Somewhere is streaming on Max.
