Police detain motorbike rider after he gets stuck in mud
POLICE detained a motorbike rider after he got stuck in mud.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team were deployed to Pitty Beck in Bradford on the back of community intelligence.
A spokesperson from the team said: "The adult rider of this motorbike got himself stuck in the mud where we detained him.
"The rider was reported for document offences and the bike was seized for examination."
Operation Steerside was formed in 2016 - two months after the Telegraph & Argus launched its 'Stop the Danger Drivers' campaign.
A dedicated team was set up three years later specifically to tackle crimes on our roads.
People can email bd.steerside@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk to report information to the team.
Crime concerns can also be reported to West Yorkshire Police by calling 101 or using the live chat facility on the force's website.
