Owners of security firm providing State services to IPAS share €5.68m profits
Both from Ballinasloe in Co Galway, Alan Connolly and Conor Nolan each own 50 per cent of Allpro Security Services Ireland Ltd through their Be Rite Group Ltd.

New accounts show that Allpro Security Services Ireland Ltd declared a dividend to Be Rite Group Ltd of €5.68 million last year - which works out at a dividend payout of €2.84 million each for the two co-owners.
The dividend pay out followed pre-tax profits at Allpro Security Services Ireland Ltd increasing seven fold from €1.6 million to €12.28 million in the 12 months to the end of March 2024.
The surge in profits followed revenues increasing almost three fold from €15.85 million to €44.3 million over the 12 month period.
The company recorded post tax profits of €10.56 million after incurring a corporation tax charge of €1.62 million.

The directors state that the principal activity of the company is the provision of security, cleaning services and facilities.
Figures previously provided by the Dept of Integration show that in the first quarter of this year alone, Allpro Security Services Ireland received €6 million (incl VAT) through State contracts.
This followed the firm receiving €14.59 million (incl VAT) for the second half of 2024 from the Dept of Integration for providing services in the IP and Ukrainian accommodation sectors.
The payout to Allpro Security Services was part of an overall spend on accommodation for IP applicants and Ukrainians totalling €1.84bn for 2024.

A spokesman for the Dept of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration confirmed that Allpro Security Services Ireland Ltd 'is contracted to provide services at three State owned sites accommodating people seeking international protection'.
He said: 'These are Columba Barracks, the Central Mental Hospital Dundrum and Kilbride Army camp. It also provides services to commercial providers at Synge Street and Mount St Mary's.
He added: 'Аllpro Security Services Ltd also provided the Facilities Management services at the Emmaus Centre in Swords, Co. Dublin, which provided accommodation to people fleeing the war in Ukraine until the end of May 2025.
He said: 'The Department is working with Аllpro Security Services Ireland Ltd to return this building to the Christian Brothers, which involves refurbishing this property to its condition prior to the licence commencement.'
The new accounts show that numbers employed by Allpro Security last year declined from 1,000 to 897 though staff costs increased from €8.49 million to €12.26 million.
On the company's future development's the directors state that the company has made a significant investment since year end which the directors believe will yield significant future turnover and hence increased profits going forward.

Australia and Vanuatu agree to $500m security and business deal

Fashion accessories chain Claire's has appointed administrators for its Ireland and UK business, putting around 2,150 jobs at risk. The US parent firm for the high street retailer said it has filed a formal notice to administrators from advisory firm Interpath.
