Lionel Messi's luxury watch collection in 2025 – from Rolex and Patek Philippe to Tudor

The world knows Lionel Messi for his goals, his mind-boggling skills, his mile-long list of honours and achievements, and his staggering wealth – he's pulling in US$20 million a year playing for Inter Miami, according to The Guardian. He once earned up to US$165 million during his Barcelona days, and he is edging ever closer to billionaire status with a net worth of around US$850 million, per Celebrity Net Worth.

But off the pitch – no doubt aided by all those millions in his accounts – the 38-year-old is also a serious collector of
ultra-lavish timepieces. As the very definition of a GOAT, he also has the world's most coveted watchmakers vying for his wrist – he's been an ambassador for the likes of Audemars Piguet and, since 2019, Jacob & Co.

All that is to say that Messi has been a major player in the luxury watch world for years, and if 2025 is anything to go by, his collection is only getting more substantial. Here are seven luxury watches the football icon has worn so far this year.

As
fellow watch bro Jay-Z might say – new watch alert! A Patek Philippe Cubitus watch was seen on the Argentine footballer's wrist at an Inter Miami match in August. He wore the rose gold Cubitus with a brown dial (ref. 7128/1R-001) showing that, despite this watch's somewhat mixed reception, it's got at least one famous fan. He's also got a ref. 5821/1A of the model in stainless steel with a green dial, as seen on Instagram.
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Tourbillon Chronograph
Lionel Messi arrives before an Inter Miami match, wearing his Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Tourbillon Chronograph, in March, in Florida.
Former AP ambassador Messi still keeps the brand close. In March, he sported a 43mm black ceramic Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Tourbillon Chronograph – one of only 50 in existence – complete with a skeletonised dial, dual chronograph counters, and a tourbillon at six o'clock. Also spotted on the likes of Sylvester Stallone, Arnold
Schwarzenegger , Jay-Z and Novak Djokovic, it's sporty on the (rubber) strap, but total over-the-top extravagance on the wrist.

Saudi Super Cup: Cristiano Ronaldo creates winner as Al-Nassr beat Al-Ittihad in semi-final

Cristiano Ronaldo extended his Hong Kong adventure on Tuesday, creating the winning goal for 10-man Al-Nassr to beat Al-Ittihad 2-1 on a night of high drama at Hong Kong Stadium. With the teams level, and Al-Nassr reduced by the 25th-minute dismissal of Sadio Mane, Ronaldo galloped onto a forward ball from Nawaf Boushal in the 61st minute, before he unselfishly presented Joao Felix with the easiest of debut goals. When an original decision to disallow the strike for offside against Ronaldo was overturned, he celebrated wildly. Al-Nassr will meet the winners of Wednesday's second Saudi Super Cup semi-final between Al-Ahli and Al-Qadsiah in Saturday's final. Ronaldo and his allies appeared set for a straightforward night when Mane squeezed an attempt beyond the weak defences of goalkeeper Hamed Al-Shanqiti after 10 minutes. Al-Ittihad never looked like exploiting their numerical advantage, however, with Al-Nassr the faster, hungrier and more aggressive team.

Saudi Super Cup: Ronaldo fever strikes again, fans flock to stadium hours before kick-off

Thousands of football fans descended on Hong Kong Stadium hours before Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr were scheduled to kick off against Al-Ittihad in the first semi-final of the Saudi Super Cup on Tuesday. Advertisement At around 5pm, all roads leading to the stadium were a sea of jerseys sporting Ronaldo's name on the back, as thousands from Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China and Saudi Arabia made their way to the ground. There was even one spectator wearing a shirt that combined Al-Nassr, Real Madrid and Manchester United colours and badges, all teams the Portuguese star has played for during his illustrious career. And fans outside and inside the stadium brought a party atmosphere, with Al-Nassr ultras banging drums, waving flags and handing out free scarves to rally support for their side. Not that they needed to. 'I came because I like Ronaldo and I support Real Madrid,' said Grace Chan, 24, who travelled from Nanjing.
