Orlando Neighborhood named ‘Neighborhood Watch of the Year
An Orlando neighborhood has been named 'Neighborhood Watch of the Year for 2024.
The Ventura Country Club was gifted with a sign to commemorate their award.
In 2024, Ventura Country Club hosted four neighborhood watch meetings and has a strong relationship with the Orlando Police Department.
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer presented the sign to the neighborhood.

Now the district is offering an inside look at how it operates via a program called Leadership Orange. It gives parents a look at the inner working of public schools. During eight sessions. parents can get behind-the-scenes tours, hands-on activities and time with experts that keep the district going. Astronauts in quarantine ahead of Axiom-4 mission to ISS
The crew members of Axiom-4 are in quarantine ahead of their launch next week to the International Space Station. The astronauts will spend two weeks aboard the ISS conducting 60 experiments during their commercial flight. The international crew will include representatives from the United States, India, Poland, and Hungary. It will be led by veteran astronaut Peggy Whitson. 'Each mission we have builds on the last, expanding our capabilities and deepening our understanding of how we can sustainably live and work in space,' Whitson said Tuesday at a news conference. A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will be used to launch the mission from Kennedy Space Center.
