Gambler bets $25 on slot machine — then hits big jackpot at Florida casino
A gambler scored a big jackpot playing a popular slot machine at a Florida casino.
Now, the player is $199,658.77 richer.
The visitor sat at a Dragon Link game at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, the casino said in an April 30 Facebook post.
The gambler bet $25, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared.
'Sure glad to see someone win because I never do,' someone commented on Facebook.
'I played this game for the first time a couple of years ago, and I didn't win anything! it took my money but congratulations to the winner!' another person wrote.
'I hope this is me one day!' another person commented.
Another gambler won a big prize at the same casino in March.
The player bet $500 on a Dragon Link slot machine and won $1.5 million, McClatchy News reported.

‘70s rock band offers reward for ‘irreplaceable' stolen instruments
Storied rock band Heart is asking fans to help it recover two custom instruments that were stolen on the eve of its summer tour. Singer and guitarist Nancy Wilson's 'custom-built, one-of-a-kind purple sparkle baritone Telecaster with a hand-painted headstock' and multi-instrumentalist Paul Moak's 'vintage 1966 Gibson EM-50 mandolin' were among the items discovered to be missing, according to a statement posted to Wilson's Instagram account. The 'irreplaceable' instruments are believed to have been taken from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, N.J., where the group's Royal Flush Tour kicked off on Saturday, May 31. Heart's members say the gear had been set up at the venue the day before the show. The trek is due to stop at San Francisco's Chase Center on Aug. 10. 'These instruments are more than just tools of our trade — they're extensions of our musical souls,' Wilson said in the social media statement, shared Tuesday, June 3. The post also includes photographs of the missing pieces. 'We're heartbroken, and we're asking for their safe return—no questions asked. Their value to us is immeasurable.' In an effort to recover the items, Heart is offering an unspecified reward to anyone who can provide information leading to their return. Among the items stolen were a custom-built, purple sparkle baritone Telecaster guitar with a hand-painted headstock made for band member Nancy Wilson, and a vintage 1966 Gibson EM-50 mandolin that band member Paul Moak has played for over 25 years.
