What's in your cart? Cameron Brink shares game day must-haves ahead of her WNBA comeback

The 23-year-old hooper shares her favorites for tunnel looks, game day hydration and self-care.
Cameron Brink is back! The No. 2 draft pick in the 2024 WNBA draft is expected to make her season debut on Tuesday, July 29 as the Los Angeles Sparks take on the Las Vegas Aces. Brink suffered a torn ACL in the 15th game of her rookie season and has been out ever since.
Brink played college basketball at Stanford University, where she helped the team win a national championship in 2021. She was supposed to play in the 2024 Paris Olympics on the USA 3x3 basketball team before her injury sidelined her.
Her return couldn't be more timely for the Sparks, who struggled in 2024 and finished with an 8-32 record. But, the team has won seven of their last 10 games and is currently one game out from earning a spot in the playoffs.
As she prepares to return to the court, here's what Brink shared with the USA Today Shopping team on her game day must-haves:
What's in your cart? Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink shares her game day essentials
Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein Powder, Double Rich Chocolate
Hit your protein goals with 24 grams of protein per scoop and tons of delicious flavors.
$32 at Amazon (Save 24%)
Prep and recovery go hand-in-hand, especially for an athlete recovering from a major injury. For Brink, hitting her protein goals is an important step in her routine and she reaches for this double rich chocolate flavor from Optimum Nutrition.
'On game days, hitting my protein goals isn't just important - it's essential," Brink said. "It's a key part of my post-game routine to support muscle recovery. I love the Double Rich Chocolate flavor!'
Sweat Pant by The Attico at Revolve
The 23-year-old has stepped out in dresses by Helsa and cargo pants by The Attico, both among her favorite brands at Revolve.
$950 at Revolve
'Planning my game day tunnel outfits is one of my favorite things to do," Brink said. "It's my chance to show that athletes can turn heads with their style and feel confident doing it."
Arrivals at a WNBA game look more and more like a catwalk everyday, and I'm not complaining. Brink has been among the best dressed since the day she was drafted. Her outfits make headlines, like the bodycon Helsa Josephine dress that she wore to an event in New York City and since sold out on Revolve.
"When it comes to curating those looks, Revolve is always my first stop," said the 6-foot-4 forward. "I'm especially loving brands like Helsa and The Attico right now - they strike that perfect balance between bold fashion and all-day comfort.'
Gorjana Jewelry
We love a look elevated by stunning, sustainable jewelry.
Shop the lab-grown collection
'Fashion is a true passion of mine, so I love stepping out each week in a fresh, accessorized look," Brink said. "Jewelry can elevate any outfit and Gorjana is my go-to."
The 23-year-old hooper loves a layered jewelry look, from multiple ear piercings to layered necklaces and stacked bracelets, they're all part of her regular looks. When you add in the sustainability of a lab-grown diamond, it's a perfect fit.
"Lately, I've been obsessed with their lab-grown diamond collection - it's chic, sustainable and perfect for stacking," Brink said. "Whether it's bracelets, necklaces or earrings, their pieces are the finishing touch to every tunnel fit."
Olipop Watermelon Lime
Get your fizzy fix in a healthier way with an Olipop prebiotic soda.
$2.59 at Target
'Hydration is always a focus for me – especially on game days," Brink said. "Sometimes, I need to spice up my options!"
One of my favorite picks from the WNBA star, because it's just so relatable. We all know water is important, but sometimes you just need options and cracking open a fizzy soda that won't wreck your health and fitness goals is a win.
"I love Olipop for a healthy, flavorful hydration fix," Brink said. "My favorite flavor is watermelon lime!'
I haven't tried the watermelon lime soda yet, but if it's as good as the other Olipop flavors, sign me up.

New Balance Two WXY v5 Basketball Shoes
The TWO WXY provides the reliability players love, while also providing support with the freedom of movement.
$119.99 at New Balance
'New Balance is my favorite sneaker brand, on and off the court! I'm always sporting my TWO WXY sneakers on the court," Brink said.
The TWO WXY's have such a sleek look, and obvious comfort if they're Brink's choice of shoe to power her everyday play. But, she also loves New Balance for her days off.
"I love the 740's for my days off – with a touch of athletic retro and modern style, they easily pair with sweats, shorts or denim.'

Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Makeup Setting Spray
Lock in your look with this cult-favorite setting spray.
$36 at Amazon
'The Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray is my trusted final step in my getting ready routine on game day.," Brink said.
If you love makeup (or even just tolerate it), you've probably tested this setting spray, it's a cult-favorite for a reason. But, knowing that it locks in makeup for athletes who would otherwise sweat off their favorite looks? Iconic.
"I've always played with makeup on, just like my tunnel fits, it's a form of self-expression and helps me feel confident," Brink said. "My mom is a huge beauty queen, and she taught me to always take pride in my appearance. If you look good, you feel good, and you play good.'
Her mom is a beauty queen? I'll take "Things that just make sense for 100, Alex." Beauty aside, Brink is a huge supporter of self-care.
"After a long day on the court, there's nothing better than taking a moment for self-care."
She mentioned her nighttime skincare routine includes using a light therapy face mask from Skinletics, which is made by athletes for athletes and helps her wind down.

Katie Ledecky tops Pallister, McIntosh in swim worlds epic; Gretchen Walsh adds gold

In what may have been the best race of her career, Katie Ledecky won an 800m freestyle that lived up to the hype, becoming the first swimmer to win a seventh world title in one event. Ledecky swam 8:05.62 to beat Australian Lani Pallister (8:05.98) and Canadian Summer McIntosh (8:07.29) in a showdown among the three fastest women in history in the event. Ledecky rallied from second place at 700 meters -- just .14 behind McIntosh -- then held off the charging Pallister in a championship record time. It's her 23 world title (second to Michael Phelps' 26) and 30th world medal (second to Phelps' 33). Ledecky is now 11-0 in global finals in the 800m free, her trademark event, since her 2012 Olympic breakout at age 15. SWIMMING WORLDS: Results | Broadcast Schedule Gretchen Walsh fills U.S. women's swim worlds gold set Earlier Saturday, American Gretchen Walsh added the 50m fly title to her 100m fly victory from last Monday. She swam 24.83 seconds, distancing silver medalist Alexandria Perkins by 48 hundredths — greater than the margin separating Perkins from last place in the race. Of the 42 women's and men's events on the world championships program, the women's 50m fly was the only one the U.S. had never won. The U.S. has won at least one medal in all 16 women's events held so far at these worlds. There are four women's finals left on Sunday. Walsh was one of the majority of U.S. swim team members affected to varying degrees by acute gastroenteritis, or a stomach bug, leading into worlds. 'It felt like myself again in the water,' she said Saturday. She said Monday that her body had felt 'fragile.' She has one individual event left at these worlds: the 50m free. She owns the world's top time this year. Nick Zaccardi, Australian Kaylee McKeown and American Regan Smith went one-two in the 200m backstroke, just as they did in all three backstrokes at the 2023 Worlds, both backstrokes at the 2024 Olympics and in the 100m back earlier at these worlds. American Claire Curzan, who swept the backstrokes at the 2024 Worlds in the absence of McKeown and Smith, took bronze Saturday. Both U.S. entries won a medal in all three women's backstroke events. McKeown clocked 2:03.33, the third-fastest time in history. McKeown and Smith combine to own 22 of the top 23 times in history. Frenchman Maxime Grousset took the men's 100m fly in 49.62, the third-fastest time in history behind Caeleb Dressel's top two. Australian Cameron McEvoy and Brit Ben Proud went one-two in the men's 50m free, repeating their finishes from the Olympics. American Jack Alexy added bronze to his 100m free silver. Having already won gold in the women's 100m butterfly earlier in the competition, Gretchen Walsh swam a time of 24.83 seconds to add the 50m world title as well at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore.

Katie Ledecky wins seventh consecutive world title in 800 freestyle

Katie Ledecky stubbornly refused to give up her 800-meter freestyle crown Saturday at the world championships in Singapore, winning that race for a seventh consecutive time and fending off Canada's Summer McIntosh who led a field of talented young, would-be usurpers. When the Maryland native triumphantly touched the wall first, she earned her seventh consecutive 800 free title in world meets dating back to 2013. The niece of New York Islanders co-owner Jon Ledecky has also been dominating the 800 free at the Olympics, having won gold in this race at the 2012 games in London, 2016 in Rio, 2021 in Tokyo and last summer near Paris. She's the only woman to win the same individual event at four Olympics, in any sport. The only other swimmer to pull off such a four-peat was American legend Michael Phelps, who took the 200 individual medley in 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016. At age 28, Ledecky was the field's oldest swimmer and she outdueled her youngest and most fierce competitor, the 18-year-old Toronto native McIntosh. Ledecky's air of 800 invincibility was dented last year when a 17-year-old McIntosh beat the American at the Southern Zone South Sectional Championships in Orlando, Florida, on Feb. 8. The Canadian prodigy opted against swimming in the 800 in France to concentrate on other events. She took gold in the 200 butterfly, 200 Individual Medley and 400 Individual Medley to become one of the breakout stars of last summer. If McIntosh takes on the 800 free in Los Angeles, Saturday's race was a tantalizing preview of what could be in store for 2028.
