LEGO launches four new Fortnite sets for children and older builders
The sets come with exclusive Fortnite digital bonus content
The LEGO Group has unveiled the latest additions to its LEGO Fortnite physical product range. The four new sets include: LEGO Fortnite Peely & Sparkplug's Camp, LEGO Fortnite Durrr Burger Restaurant and LEGO Fortnite Klombo which will all be available to purchase from June 1 and the LEGO Fortnite Mecha Team Leader that is available for pre-order from April and available to purchase from August 1.
The new sets will allow builders to recreate even more of their favourite characters and moments from LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and Fortnite. This announcement follows on from the first-ever release of LEGO Fortnite physical sets last year.
The first product in this latest launch is the LEGO Fortnite Peely & Sparkplug's Camp. This 250-piece set is inspired by some of the first challenges you meet in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, with builders aged 7+ able to recreate the campfire, ruins and workbench settings, with Peely, Sparkplug minifigures, as well as Supply Llama, wolf and skeleton figures also included.
Gaming fans will be able to unlock the Sparkplug Outfit in the LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite games by scanning the QR code on the cover of the building instructions.
The LEGO Fortnite Durrr Burger Restaurant is a 546-piece set which allows builders to construct one of LEGO Fortnite's gameplay locations.
Builders aged 10+ will be able to recreate all the action with four minifigure characters included in the set, such as Beach Bomber, Beef Boss and Grimey. There's also an extra for fans, with the set unlocking the Beef Boss Outfit in the LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite games.
The third set announced, LEGO Fortnite Klombo will allow builders 10+ to befriend one of LEGO Fortnite's characters. Fitted with movable legs, an opening mouth and rotating tail, as well as including a small Klomberry bush with detachable Klomberries, this is an 1,084-piece model.
The set also features minifigures of Island Adventure Peely and Oro and includes a digital bonus allowing builders to redeem the Island Adventure Peely Outfit in the LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite games.
Completing the new releases is a set for older builders, the LEGO Fortnite Mecha Team Leader. The 2,503-piece model offers fans an immersive project based on the character that saved the Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 1 Island.

007 First Light trailer revealed and fans are convinced this actor is James Bond

Hitman developer IO Interactive has debuted the first trailer for 007 First Light, with a very youthful James Bond. After the game's title was announced earlier this week, developer IO Interactive has unveiled the first trailer for its upcoming James Bond game 007 First Light. The trailer, which was showcased during Sony's State Of Play, debuted a new 26-year-old version of the character, originally created by Ian Fleming. While a young James Bond was perhaps always going to look odd, his plain appearance more echoes a Fortnite skin than a British spy (even though he does have the original scar on his cheek). The actor playing James Bond is yet to be confirmed, but many fans have highlighted the similarities to The OA and Dexter: Original Sin actor Patrick Gibson. Lennie James, who is known for playing Morgan in The Walking Dead, also appears to be playing a new character called John Greenway, who is described as Bond's mentor. As noted in a PlayStation blog post, you'll encounter new versions of classic Bond characters M, Q, and Moneypenny in the game too, some of which pop up in the trailer. 007 First Light is described as an origin story for James Bond, who starts out as a Royal Navy air crewman before he's propelled into MI6 training following 'an audacious act of bravery', according to the blog post. Sign up to the GameCentral newsletter for a unique take on the week in gaming, alongside the latest reviews and more. Delivered to your inbox every Saturday morning. The game features an original standalone story, which was developed in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. Developer IO Interactive has said in the past how it hopes to expand the story into a trilogy. More Trending Gameplay wise, the combat looks very reminiscent of IO Interactive's work on Hitman, but it also boasts driving sections and gadgets to mess around with, including a laser watch. It also promises to span a variety of locationsaround the world, with the trailer showing island resorts and nightclubs. Unless I'm mistaken, our new game Bond is being played by Patrick Irish Bond in the bag, can't argue with that! Also… the scar down the cheek from the books, FINALLY!!!#007FirstLight — Aaron McGahon (@AarontYouGreat) June 4, 2025 The production itself looks impressive, and the developer certainly has a strong history with stealth action games, but it remains to be seen if this young version of Bond will stick the landing. 007 First Light is set to launch in 2026 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. More about the game is set to be revealed at the IOI Showcase on Friday, June 7 at 2am BST. Email gamecentral@ leave a comment below, follow us on Twitter. Deal of the day: Lego's Creative Brick Box is half off right now

Lego sets are an NBC Select-reader favorite for a lot of reasons. They're incredibly giftable and they allow builders of all ages to exercise creativity in their free time. Fortunately, Lego just put its popular Creative Brick Box on sale for almost half off, which is its lowest price ever. The box has almost 500 pieces of building blocks and other pieces to build mini sets, cars, animals and other figurines. Deal of the day: Lego Classic Medium Creative Brick Box Lego's Classic Medium Creative Brick Box measures at around 14 x 7 inches, so it's around the size of a small storage box, with enough space to hold all of its 484 pieces. The set has both flat baseplates and cube-shaped interlocking pieces, small wheels for building trains and cars, pieces for making animals and more, all in 35 different colors. The back of the box also has a visual outline of everything in the box and photos to provide inspiration for creations, so it's easy to see everything at a bird's eye view. Why trust NBC Select? I'm a commerce editor at NBC Select, where I write about deals and sales on lifestyle items including Lego. I found this deal by scouring several retailers across the web.

Hamish Blake left panicking as disastrous trophy unveiling turns dangerous on Lego Masters - forcing the show to pause filming

Hamish Blake was left panicking during Tuesday's episode of Lego Masters as a grand moment went awry. The host was presenting the season's trophy to the contestants and Ryan 'Brickman' McNaught - but it didn't go to plan. The tall and hefty structure, constructed of Lego bricks, began to wobble, threatening to topple off the moving stand that Hamish was wheeling it on. Ryan quickly pointed out that the trophy appeared to be losing the battle the gravity as Hamish continued to push it out. 'Mate, if that lands on your head, it'll hurt' he warned and Hamish became hysterical. The host was presenting the season's trophy to the contestants and Ryan 'Brickman' McNaught - but it didn't go to plan. The tall and hefty structure, constructed of Lego bricks, began to wobble, threatening to topple off the moving stand that Hamish was wheeling it on 'I'm not gonna break your trophy, Brickman!' he shouted in response - but nonetheless stopped pushing it out. The show then cut to a break while the statuette was stabilised and the segment could continue - the trophy now secure. It comes after Ryan revealed what he really thinks of working with co-host Hamish. The Lego Masters star has shared the screen with Hamish for the past seven years on the hit Channel Nine game show. On the cusp of the premiere of Lego Masters' seventh season - Grandmasters of the Galaxy - Ryan opened up about what it's like working with Hamish. Speaking to Nine, Ryan admitted that, rather than displaying any diva-like behaviour, Hamish has always been incredibly genuine. 'I'm not surprised by how funny he is, because he's exactly the same guy off camera as what he is on camera. So there's nothing hidden from that perspective,' Ryan said. 'He's just incredibly genuine, like, he's the same guy, so it makes it pretty easy to go to work, I'll be brutally honest.' Ryan (pictured) quickly pointed out that the trophy appeared to be losing the battle the gravity as Hamish continued to push it out The Lego doyen added that when the pair first met eight years ago, they hit it off instantly, bonding over eerily similar hobbies and interests. 'Whilst I'm creative with Lego from a professional point of view, and he's obviously a comedian and media personality-type-guy, we both cycle every day to and from the studio,' he said. 'We're both into footy. We both play golf. There's lots of things that we do that are the same, which made for a pretty easy connection, and we have a very similar sense of humour.' The chemistry has obviously translated successfully to the screen with Lego Masters proving quite the ratings hit for Nine. The 2024 series finale boasted a national total reach audience of 1.9million viewers - a figure that remained relatively consistent throughout the season with the premiere bringing in 2.2million fans. Ryan's ringing endorsement comes after Hamish was revealed to be one of the highest-paid TV stars in the country. The Australian's TV Rich List report, released this week, places the comedian third in the top 35 highest-paid stars list at a formidable $2million. He trails behind fellow Nine colleagues Scott Cam, who is on $2.4million and Karl Stefanovic who tops the list at an eye-watering $2.8million. However, the Brickman is nowhere to be seen on the list, with the lowest-placed star, 60 Minutes reporter Amelia Adams bringing in $300,000.
