Behold, Kylie Jenner and Stormi's First ‘Get Ready With Me'

Vogue16-07-2025
Kylie Jenner and daughter Stormi have been living a very Euro Summer: From Venice to Tuscany to live La Dolce Vita, and now onwards to a boat off of the coast of Greece. Seven-year-old Stormi has been a fixture on Jenner's social media for a little while—recently, on Jenner's IG story we saw Stormi toting her massive collection of Labubus, and on TikTok, reacting to her mom's 'King Kylie'-era blue hair.
This week, Jenner dropped their very first dual 'Get Ready With Me.' A mother-daughter beauty mogul moment.
'It's Stormi.'
'It's Kylie.'
'And we're going to do our first ever makeup tutorial together!'
Doing a full face (child-appropriate, where necessary) of Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie and Stormi both start out with the Lip Butter in 'peach mango'. 'Really glossy,' affirms Stormi.
Next, they diverge: Stormi opts for a petal pink blush—smiling brightly and tapping it on the apples of her cheeks—while Kylie goes for the fuller coverage foundation.
'Stormi likes to play with my makeup sometimes, but obviously she doesn't wear makeup yet,' says Kylie—pre-empting any backlash to her daughter's very normal and age-appropriate, expressive, and mommy-monitored experiments with makeup.

Next, Kylie adds a light swipe of mascara to Stormi's lashes, then spot conceals and contours her own face. Stormi, meanwhile, dabs on the Dewy Balm Stick in what looks like the 'rose gold' tone, tapping around her brow bone, down her nose, and cheeks.
'Mommy always tells you though,' says Kylie, 'you're the most beautiful without—'
'—makeup,' adds Stormi.
Stormi then offers her mom some help with her latest blush products, swirling on the 'summer sorbet' and 'ladybug' colors and blending. Jenner quickly finishes off with the Lip Liner in 'coconut' (among her faves), a neaten up of the eyebrows with a brow pencil, and they're good to get back to lounging on the deck of their boat or lunching in a local taverna.
TikTok has been a space where Jenner has been consistently giving more glimpses of her everyday life, beauty regimes, and silly goofy stuff. Whether that be a big, bouncy hair tutorial, or the real, honest details of her breast augmentation, it's the platform where Kylie Jenner bares most. And the heir to Kylie Cosmetics apparent.

‘Ecstasy' Review: The Gods Made Them Crazy

The past few years have seen a spate of novels that draw on classical antiquity of both fact and myth, from 'historically accurate' retellings of ancient sagas, such as 'Circe' (2018) by Madeline Miller, to a queer version of Caesar and Cleopatra (in space). Similarly addressing the realm of mysterious gods and heroic women—but from a slightly different angle—is 'Ecstasy' by Ivy Pochoda , whose previous novels include the 2023 thriller 'Sing Her Down.' 'Ecstasy' is a loose modern retelling of Euripides' 'The Bacchae,' a play in which a king's refusal to acknowledge the divinity of Dionysus—the god of wine and madness—brings destruction to the royal family. Ms. Pochoda's story is told from several points of view but the main one is that of Lena, a widow traveling with her pregnant daughter-in-law and son, Drew, to the Greek Island of Naxos. They stay at her late husband's last real-estate development, a luxury beach resort that is almost ready to open. Along with them is Hedy, Lena's friend from the years when they were both impoverished ballerinas traveling the world. Now Lena is a well-behaved member of the extremely wealthy, and Hedy is going blind. But the resort has a problem: Squatters, all women, have refused to move from a prime piece of beach, claiming it is theirs by spiritual right. Drew insists they should be evicted, but local authorities are reluctant to act; the possible presence of an ancient ruin of cultural significance in a cave nearby seems to support the squatters' case. Lena, intrigued by the women's revelry and missing her own wild youth, is drawn into the beach-party scene—to her son's irritation and rage. It soon comes out that the women—in ancient times they would have been called maenads—are driven to their fits of ecstasy by drinking an elixir that a dealer sources from a god in chains. Drew declares war on all of them, setting fire to their encampment and trying to lock up his mother. The ending, let's just say, is perfectly Greek.

Amal Clooney Trades Disco Fringe for a Thigh-High Slit

After a late start to her Lake Como vacation, Amal Clooney is kicking off her la dolce vita summer with great haste. At long last, the barrister and her husband, George Clooney, arrived in Lake Como after George's Broadway run in Good Night, and Good Luck. Amal wasted no time in dressing for a glamorous Euro summer, diving headfirst into disco-friendly fashions. First, she arrived on the docks dressed in a silver sequined one-shoulder Badgley Mischka dress with a wraparound silver fringe, and later a white off-the-shoulder number with tiers of fringe. Earlier this week, she and George arrived arm in arm to dinner at Villa Passalacqua in dazzling tassled whites. They Clooneys welcomed guests to their Lake Como residence, Villa Oleandra, where Amal traded her fringed looks for a magenta, bias cut gown with a draped neckline. While the dress stands out for its striking color, it was augmented with other show-stopping details—namely, its thigh-high slit punctuated with a rosette appliqué.

Kylie Jenner Has Already Nailed Her Perfect Fall Outfit

Kylie Jenner has stretched the boundaries of summer style to its sartorial extremes. She donned her most opulent gowns in Venice for the Sánchez Bezos wedding, and when she and her sisters finally departed, found the perfect travel outfit in the form of a vintage leopard two-piece. Next stop was Saint-Tropez with her sister Kendall, where she wore an all-white custom, cut-out swimsuit and matching bubble skirt by Isabel Marant. Across time in Tuscany and yachting around the Greek islands, Kylie experimented with the skirt over trousers trend, and got back to the L.A. heat in an easy, breezy Miu Miu mini-dress. And while everyone has been obsessing over The Row's viral Dune flip-flops, Kylie weighed in with the summer's most outre take on the footwear trend with sky-high ERL platforms, paired with a teensie bandeau and yoga pants. Photographed heading out for dinner at celebrity favorite Sushi Park with former assistant Maguire Amundsen, Jenner opted for all-black and lots of leather. She wore a loose black silky crop top and black, low-rise straight-leg tailored pants, and later, wrapped herself up in a belted leather jacket that cinched the waist. The KHY and Kylie Cosmetics founder accessorized simply with an archival black Gucci bag with a bamboo handle. She added a pair of black thong sandals—a last summer hurrah.
