POLICE: Longview ISD student arrested after making continuous threats off campus
LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) – A Longview ISD student was arrested after allegedly making continuous threats while off campus.

The Longview Police Department was made aware of the threats on Wednesday and charged the student with Terrorist Threat, a third-degree felony. The student was then taken to the Gregg County Juvenile Detention Center.
'The Longview Police Department remains committed to thoroughly investigating all threats made toward or on school campuses,' Longview PD said. ' Appropriated charges will be pursued in every case to ensure the safety of students.'

Longview PD arrests man for fatal Melba Street shooting
LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) – The Longview Police Department has arrested a 28-year-old man for murder in connection to a fatal shooting that happened on Melba Street on Saturday. Lufkin Police investigating death of man found on train tracks Longview PD said officers were sent to the 200 block of Melba Street at around 9:18 p.m. on Saturday to respond to a reported shooting. According to a Longview PD press release, officers found a man at the scene who had been shot. The victim, identified as Isaiah Ross of Longview, was taken to a local hospital where he later died. Investigators then identified a suspect and got an arrest warrant. According to Longview PD, Dominique Johnson, 28 of Longview, was then arrested in Kilgore by the Kilgore Police Department. Two drownings were reported at Red River and Elmendorf Lake along with a 5-year-old girl who was recued after being blown away on an inflatable tube at the Falcon International Reservoir, according to TPWD. Tyler PD searching for missing 81-year-old man
TYLER, Texas (KETK) — The Tyler Police Department is searching for 81-year-old Donald Harter who went missing from a Tyler residence around 8 p.m. Tuesday. Silver Alert issued for missing Gilmer 73-year-old man Tyler PD said Harter left the residence on Loop 323 in a 2005 silver Ford F-150 with the Texas license plate number: 8124DV. According to Harter's family he cannot care for himself and it is not confirmed what he was last wearing.
