ECP officials announce more daily nonstop flights to NYC
BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – Northwest Florida Beaches International is about to offer non-stop summer flights to New York City.
Delta will offer weekly non-stop Saturday flights to LaGuardia beginning in June and running through Labor Day.
The flights will be daily from June 28 and run through July 6 to accommodate July 4 holiday travelers.

However, those looking for more regular service to the Big Apple are about to get their wish. Delta just announced it plans to offer non-stop daily flights to LaGuardia beginning this fall.
'November 6th will begin daily service to LaGuardia with a regional jet. That's huge for this community. Delta recognizes that there's a demand for people from New York coming here, and for us to go back to New York. So all that's a great thing,' ECP Executive Director Parker McClellan said.
Right now, those new daily non-stop flights are scheduled from November to May.
McClellan said if the demand is there, it could continue beyond May.

You're going to see ads right before the movie at AMC Theatres from next month. The cinema chain is adding a "platinum spot" in between the trailers and the film from July 1. The move is part of an agreement with National CineMedia that will give AMC a slice of the revenue from these ads, which the company describes as "vital" to its post-pandemic recovery. Rivals including Regal and Cinemark have been playing pre-show ads since 2019. AMC had held out over fears of alienating movie fans. AMC said in a statement that its competitors had not suffered "any direct impact to their attendance. This is a strong indication that this NCM pre-show initiative does not negatively influence moviegoing habits." AMC said last month it would start offering 50% off tickets on Wednesdays for members of its loyalty scheme in a bid to boost midweek attendance, alongside an improved selection of food and beverages. Revenues fell 9% to $862 million in the first quarter for AMC, while attendance at US theaters fell 11%. Total US box office takings stood at nearly $3.4 billion by the end of May, per Comscore data — 26% higher than the same period last year. A $4.2 billion haul is being forecast by the data provider for period from the first weekend in May to the Labor Day weekend in early September, Screen Daily reported. That could beat 2023's " Barbenheimer" summer when ticket sales reached almost $4.1 billion.

Falcons in Germany: Delta offering limited-time flights to Berlin
The Brief Delta will offer direct flights from Atlanta to Berlin before and after the Falcons' game there this November. These are the first direct flights from Atlanta to the German capital. The flights are part of Delta's bigger plan to offer more direct flights between NFL cities. ATLANTA - For the first time ever, Delta says it will offer a direct flight from Atlanta to Berlin. What we know The limited-time flights will take place on November 5 and 6 ahead of the Atlanta Falcons' Game in Berlin on November 9.
