Beyoncé shines in pouring rain during night four of her 'Cowboy Carter' tour in New York
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter resumed her "Cowboy Carter" Tour in New York area, undeterred by rain as she delivered another dazzling performance.
The Grammy-winning singer kicked off the show around 8:09 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on May 28. Before she show began, the wet stage was wiped down to ensure safety, but the rain continued throughout her performance. And yet, the show still went on.
The concert marked her fourth time performing in the New York area — East Rutherford, New Jersey — on her Cowboy Carter and Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour. She is set to perform on the same stage for a total of five nights. The last show will take place May 29.
"Thank you for your love, dedication and for your your loyalty over 25 years. " she told the crowd as she opened donning a sparkly gold ensemble, a cowboy hat and shades.
As the show continued, fans in the stadium and watching online took note of the weather conditions and the energy despite it.
"It's pouring y'all. She's still doing it," an attendee noted. One fan weighed in online, saying "Her hair is soaked!! Love it." Another added, 'A true performer I lover her.'
Toward the end of the night, Beyoncé told her fans, 'Thank y'all for giving all this energy in the cold and rain. I love you deep deep deep.'
Wednesday night's show wasn't the only time Beyoncé powered through rainy weather conditions. During her Chicago stint, Bey and thousands of fans braved severe weather conditions, an evacuation and cold temperatures.
Of course, Beyoncé first debuted her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with 39 songs on the set list. She performed a total of five shows there, putting on a revolutionary show filled with family, fashion, different music genres, and most notably country music and cultural commentary.
As fans know, Beyoncé first released the 27-track project in March 2024. It has since made history and broken multiple records. As Beyoncé's first country album, she deliberately featured country legends and emerging Black country artists alike. She became the first Black woman to win best country album at the 2025 Grammys and also took home album of the year.
The nine-city tour will span the U.S. and Europe with the grand finale taking place in Las Vegas on July 26.

Monyetta Shaw-Carter's Birthday Hits Different – She's Celebrating Life & Love After A Stage 1 Breast Cancer Battle

After battling stage 1 breast cancer, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star's special day hits different. She is turning 45 and celebrating with purpose, power, and a whole lot of pink. 'I caught the cancer early, and because of that, I will be here for my kids,' she told People . 'There's nothing more important than getting checked often and early to protect your future. Our health is irreplaceable.' Her diagnosis came after she felt an unusual sensation in her left breast last September. She didn't find a lump but told People she had a strange feeling that something was off. She listened. And that instinct saved her life. 'It was literally like my body was alerting me that something was wrong,' Monyetta said. 'It's so important for me to share this story because I hope to inspire others not to dismiss their gut feeling. Our body speaks to us, and when it does, we have to listen. It can be a matter of life or death.' One month after that self-check, a mammogram confirmed she had stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma. She underwent a lumpectomy in January and completed 16 rounds of radiation by May 2. Now, weeks later, she's bringing her loved ones together for a joyful, pink-powered birthday bash. Her party honors life, resilience, and sisterhood. Monyetta credits her husband, Heath Carter, for being her rock through it all. She also had the support of her ex-fiancé, singer NE-YO, with whom she shares two children. 'NE-YO was just showing up for me in a major way and just always asking and making sure everything was okay,' she recalled in a recent interview. 'He was like, 'Oh, you're gonna beat this.'' Her RHOA circle also showed up with love. Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams, Shamea Morton, and Shereé Whitfield all supported. For Monyetta Shaw-Carter, breast cancer is real but not unbeatable. So why not celebrate? As the founder of Keep It Classy Nails , a mother of four, and a businesswoman, she wants Black women everywhere to trust their instincts, take care of themselves, and live on their own terms. 'I'm stepping into this new chapter with deeper gratitude, unstoppable faith, and a whole new glow,' she wrote on Instagram.
