Yemen Revolutionaries Declare Israeli Airports 'Unsafe' as Ballistic Missiles Target Ben Gurion

Yemen Ansarullah revolutionaries warned on Sunday that the Israeli airports are unsafe, as two Yemeni missiles targeted Ben Gurion Airport in support of Palestinian people in Gaza.
Deputy Head of Ansarullah Media Authority Nasr Al-Din Amer declared that 'all airports in occupied Palestine are unsafe,' calling on all airlines to suspend their flights to airports in Palestine 'to protect the safety of their passengers.'
He stressed that the Yemeni retaliatory strikes on the occupied territories would persist and escalate 'until the aggression ends and the siege on Gaza is lifted.'
'We will impose a no-fly zone on all airports in occupied Palestine in response to the escalation in Gaza,' the Ansarullah official said.
'The Zionists neither heard the Arab Summit nor care about it. The only heard voice now is the sound of explosions in the Zionist depth and this is the language which this entity understands.'
2 Ballistic Missiles Target Ben Gurion
Meanwhile on Sunday, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced they has launched two ballistic missiles toward the occupied territories that targeted Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, threatening to escalate retaliatory operations.
'The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a qualitative military operation targeting Lod Airport, Israeli named 'Ben Gurion' Airport, in the occupied area of Yaffa, using two ballistic missiles, one of which was a hypersonic 'Palestine-2' missile and the other a 'Zulfiqar' missile,' Yemeni military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said in a statement.

'The operation successfully achieved its goal, thanks to Allah, and caused millions of occupying Zionists to rush to shelters, and air traffic at the airport to stop for about an hour.'
Stressing that the anti-Israel operation was in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and in rejection of the crime of genocide perpetrated by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, Saree called on the Muslim world to mobilize to stand against the illegal entity.
Sirens Sound
Earlier before dawn on Sunday, sirens sounded in the Zionist entity's center, including in Tel Aviv and the surrounding areas, Israeli media reported.
The Israeli occupation military claimed it had intercepted the missile.
'The missile was detected and neutralized by aerial defense systems shortly after launch, which was initially reported at 1:57 a.m. on Sunday,' the Israeli occupation army said, as quoted by Israeli media.

UN chief urges Yemen's Houthis to release aid workers

by Naharnet Newsdesk 03 June 2025, 16:10 United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Tuesday demanded Yemen's Houthi rebels release dozens of aid workers, including UN staff, a year after their arrest. The Iran-backed rebels, who control much of the war-torn country, detained 13 U.N. personnel and more than 50 employees of aid groups last June. "I renew my call for their immediate and unconditional release," Guterres said in a statement issued by the office of his special envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg. "The U.N. and its humanitarian partners should never be targeted, arrested or detained while carrying out their mandates for the benefit of the people they serve," he added. A decade of civil war has plunged Yemen into one of the world's worst humanitarian crises, with more than half of the population relying on aid. The arrests prompted the United Nations to limit its deployments and suspend activities in some regions of the Arabian Peninsula's poorest country. The Houthis at the time claimed an "American-Israeli spy cell" was operating under the cover of aid groups -- an accusation firmly rejected by the U.N. Guterres also lamented the "deplorable tragedy" of the death in detention of a World Food Program staffer in February. The Houthis have kidnapped, arbitrarily detained and tortured hundreds of civilians, including aid workers, during their war against a Saudi-led coalition supporting the beleaguered internationally recognized government.

Lebanon's President, Iran's FM Affirm Commitment to Stronger Bilateral Relations

President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday received Iranian Foreign Minister, Dr. Abbas Araghchi, at Baabda Palace, where discussions focused on strengthening bilateral ties. President Aoun affirmed Lebanon's interest in 'enhancing relations with Iran on a state-to-state basis,' stressing that 'domestic dialogue is the gateway to resolving internal disputes, just as dialogue between states must prevail over violence.' Aoun added that 'rebuilding what was destroyed by the Israeli war on Lebanon remains a priority for the state, in coordination with the government and friendly nations, and in accordance with Lebanese law.' For his part, Araghchi reiterated Iran's support for 'Lebanon's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity,' as well as for the country's efforts to 'end Israeli occupation.' The Iranian official emphasized that Iran's assistance to Lebanon stems from a 'foundation of friendly relations and non-interference in internal affairs,' and expressed Iran's support for 'national dialogue among Lebanon's diverse communities and political groups.' Araghchi landed in Beirut Tuesday morning as part of a broader regional diplomatic tour, offering strong statements of solidarity with Lebanon against what he described as external interference and occupation.
