Inauguration of Traffic Movement on Sana'a–Dhalea–Aden Road
Dhalea – SABA: The Acting Governor of Dhalea, Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, the Military Committee, and the Chairman of the Board of the Yemeni News Agency SABA, Nasr Al-Din Amer, officially inaugurated today the traffic movement on the Sana'a–Aden road via Dhalea, after a closure that lasted seven years. During the inauguration, the Acting Governor emphasized the commitment to ensuring the movement of travelers and various goods along the Sana'a–Dhalea–Aden route. He pointed out that the road has been open through Dhalea for over a year following the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and the political and military leadership. He confirmed that today's crossing of vehicles and transport trucks crowns the leadership's initiative to reopen this vital route. Al-Shaghdari noted that the Dhalea road connecting Sana'a and Aden is the shortest and easiest path, relieving travelers from the suffering they endured during the road's closure. He said, 'We are pleased to see citizens passing through the road that we reopened from our side last year,' noting that security arrangements have been put in place to ensure the safety of citizens. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Board of the Yemeni News Agency SABA stated that the inauguration of traffic movement on the Sana'a–Aden road through Dhalea by the local authority, the military committee, and the military region comes in implementation of the leadership's directives following the other party's approval to open the road from its side. He said, 'This initiative was previously launched from this location over a year ago, but the committee assigned to open the road was fired upon at the time. Now that the other party has responded to the initiative, we welcome it.' He affirmed the positive interaction with the inauguration of vehicle movement from Sana'a to Aden via Dhalea without obstacles, even though the road had been open from their side. However, the other party had not responded and there were some obstacles that have now been removed. Amer stressed the importance of the other party removing any remaining barriers so that the road becomes fully functional and suitable for the passage of all types of vehicles, ensuring easier travel for citizens. He added that reopening the road contributes to strengthening communication among the Yemeni people, and also sends a message that Yemenis should not fear each other, for they are compassionate among themselves and harsh against the Americans, Zionists, and the infidel West. For his part, Deputy Head of the Committee, Brigadier General Hussein Dhaif Allah, explained that the leadership's initiative to open the road about a year ago reflects a genuine concern for alleviating the suffering of citizens. He noted that the inauguration of traffic for citizens' vehicles is the culmination of this leadership initiative and the efforts made in this regard. He extended his congratulations to the stationed forces in the Dhalea front line on the upcoming Eid al-Adha, praising their high readiness and willingness to carry out any assigned tasks. Citizens expressed their gratitude to the revolutionary and political leadership and the local authority for their efforts in maintaining the road and removing obstacles. The inauguration was attended by Dhalea's Deputy Governors Hussein Al-Madhaji and Sadiq Al-Idrisi, the Governorate's Police Director Hussein Al-Hamzi, along with security and military leaders and social figures from Damt and Maris. Yemen Revolutionaries Declare Israeli Airports 'Unsafe' as Ballistic Missiles Target Ben Gurion
Yemen Ansarullah revolutionaries warned on Sunday that the Israeli airports are unsafe, as two Yemeni missiles targeted Ben Gurion Airport in support of Palestinian people in Gaza. Deputy Head of Ansarullah Media Authority Nasr Al-Din Amer declared that 'all airports in occupied Palestine are unsafe,' calling on all airlines to suspend their flights to airports in Palestine 'to protect the safety of their passengers.' He stressed that the Yemeni retaliatory strikes on the occupied territories would persist and escalate 'until the aggression ends and the siege on Gaza is lifted.' 'We will impose a no-fly zone on all airports in occupied Palestine in response to the escalation in Gaza,' the Ansarullah official said. 'The Zionists neither heard the Arab Summit nor care about it. The only heard voice now is the sound of explosions in the Zionist depth and this is the language which this entity understands.' 2 Ballistic Missiles Target Ben Gurion Meanwhile on Sunday, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced they has launched two ballistic missiles toward the occupied territories that targeted Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, threatening to escalate retaliatory operations. 'The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a qualitative military operation targeting Lod Airport, Israeli named 'Ben Gurion' Airport, in the occupied area of Yaffa, using two ballistic missiles, one of which was a hypersonic 'Palestine-2' missile and the other a 'Zulfiqar' missile,' Yemeni military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said in a statement. Stressing that the anti-Israel operation was in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and in rejection of the crime of genocide perpetrated by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, Saree called on the Muslim world to mobilize to stand against the illegal entity. Sirens Sound Earlier before dawn on Sunday, sirens sounded in the Zionist entity's center, including in Tel Aviv and the surrounding areas, Israeli media reported. The Israeli occupation military claimed it had intercepted the missile. 'The missile was detected and neutralized by aerial defense systems shortly after launch, which was initially reported at 1:57 a.m. on Sunday,' the Israeli occupation army said, as quoted by Israeli media. 🚨🇾🇪🇮🇱 BREAKING: Sirens in central Israel — The Saviour (@stairwayto3dom) May 17, 2025 The Magen David Adom emergency service said one Israeli settler sustained minor injuries south of Tel Aviv while en route to a bomb shelter.
