After Shefali Jariwala's sudden death, Mallika Sherawat urges people to say no to botox

MUMBAI: Actor Mallika Sherawat has called on people to say no to botox and artificial cosmetic fillers, and instead embrace a natural, healthy lifestyle. In a video message shared on Instagram on Sunday, Sherawat — known for films like Murder, Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Welcome, and more recently Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video — urged her fans to adopt clean living and self-acceptance. 'There's no filter I am using, there's no makeup I've put on. I haven't even brushed my hair yet. This is the first thing I am doing — sharing this video with you so that we all can say together, 'No to botox, no to artificial cosmetic fillers, and yes to life, yes to a healthy way of living.' Love you all,' said the 48-year-old actor. Her remarks come in the wake of actor Shefali Jariwala's untimely death last week, which has reignited conversations about the health risks associated with cosmetic procedures, particularly anti-ageing treatments. While the exact cause of Jariwala's death is yet to be confirmed, some reports suggested cardiac arrest. In the caption accompanying her video, Sherawat encouraged her followers to pursue natural well-being through clean eating, regular exercise, proper hydration, and adequate sleep. 'Instead of chasing youth with these artificial procedures, I'm nurturing it from within. Let's embrace our natural glow,' she wrote.

Panchayat actor Sanvikaa on post about not being treated equally in entertainment industry: 'I've to fight for respect'

Panchayat actor Sanvikaa has opened up about her recent cryptic post about not being treated equally in the entertainment industry. Speaking with Screen, Sanvikaa said that she still stands by it. She added that if she were to compare herself with "the other person," then while "they are given respect naturally," she has to "keep proving and fighting for it." Panchayat actor Sanvikaa talked about her battle in the entertainment industry.(Instagram) Earlier this month, Sanvikaa had talked about wanting to be an "insider or maybe from a very powerful background" in a cryptic note on Instagram. Talking about it, she now said, "I still stand by it, but I don't want to talk much about it. But, it does get easier if you come from a certain backdrop. Everyone has their own fight... In each stage of your life as an actor, there will be different kinds of battles.' She also said, 'The context where it came from was that at least you don't have to fight for basic things like respect and being treated in a little equal way, which others are given by default. If I compare myself with the other person, they are given respect naturally. I have to keep proving and fight for it, then I am given that thing.' What did Sanvikaa say earlier in her cryptic post Taking to her Instagram Stories recently, Sanvikaa, who plays Rinki in the comedy-drama series, said that if she received what she wished for, her "battles would have been lesser". As basic as getting respect and being treated as an equal. The battles would have been lesser. Hanging on... (smiling emoji)."
