The 51st annual American Music Awards took over Las Vegas on Monday, May 26.
The award show, which recognizes outstanding achievements in American music, featured rising stars and veteran performers competing for the evening's top honors, including the Album of the Year award and the coveted Artist of the Year title.
The top nominees at the 2025 AMAs included Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Shaboozey and Taylor Swift.
But who took home the year's top prizes? Did Taylor Swift win an AMA trophy? Here's a look.
Billie Eilish was this year's big winner at the American Music Awards, nabbing all seven of the awards she was nominated for, including Album of the Year.
Eilish won Artist of the Year at the 2025 American Music Awards. The "Birds of a Feather" singer also took home Song of the Year, Favorite Touring Artist, Favorite Pop Album and Favorite Pop Song.
Taylor Swift did not win any of her six nominations at the 2025 AMAs, despite being nominated for some of the show's biggest awards, including Album of the Year and Artist of the Year.

Singer, songwriter, actress and dancer Jennifer Lopez was the host of the 2025 AMAs. She also performed the opening number of the show.
A re-run of the 2025 AMAs will air on MTV on Tuesday, May 27 at 10 p.m. ET. Additional re-runs will also broadcast on CMT on Wednesday, May 28 at 9 p.m. ET and on BET at 10 p.m. ET.

IMAX, the theatrical distribution platform, posted a photo of beads styled like Swift's iconic friendship bracelets, spelling out "IMAX 🩵 TS." Swift fans flooded the replies, convinced that something big is coming. Some guessed it could be another documentary from her recent tour or another surprise project. While it's possible the post was simply celebrating her reclaiming her music, most fans think there's more to it. "ohhhh is something coming??" a fan said. "So a rerelease of Eras Tour in theaters or….," another wrote. "You announcing something?" added another. "EXCUSE ME WHAT??" one wrote. "UMMMMM WHAT IS THISSSSS??!!" a fan added. "IF THIS IS FOR A DOCUMENTARY, PLEASE I BEG YOU I CAN TRAVEL TO THE US ANYTIME," said a fan. Swift has released documentaries for her tours before. She put out one for The Eras Tour in October 2023, followed by an extended version of it in March 2024. There could be another film coming, maybe about The Eras Tour or something new entirely. She took to social media to announce that she had bought back her master recordings and music for her first six albums from Shamrock Capital. "All of the music I've ever made now belongs to me," Swift wrote in a letter. "I can't thank you enough for helping to reunite me with this art that I have dedicated my life to, but have never owned until now. The best things that have ever been mine… finally actually are." Kelce's mother, Donna Kelce, who has enjoyed many Chiefs games sitting next to Swift in their suite, reacted to the big news. With Swift limiting comments on her Instagram post, Donna liked it along with over six million others. Swift has been fighting for control of her music since 2019, when Scooter Braun's company, Hybe America, bought the rights to her first six albums from Big Machine, Swift's first record label. In 2020, the masters were then sold again to Shamrock Capital, per NBC. In response, she started re-recording those albums in 2021 to reclaim ownership. After years of back and forth, the battle is finally over after Friday. It's unclear how much she paid to regain ownership, but that's not what matters to her.
