
Israel continues assault on Jenin for 22nd day, leaves huge destruction

The Zionist enemy on Tuesday continued its aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the 22nd consecutive day, leaving 25 martyrs and dozens of injuries, and massive destruction of infrastructure and property.
The Palestinian News Agency "WAFA" reported that the Zionist enemy's vehicles stormed the eastern neighborhood of the city of Jenin at dawn today, Tuesday, accompanied by military bulldozers that began destroying the infrastructure and streets, and the vehicles and property of Palestinian citizens, and the Zionist enemy soldiers deployed their snipers in high buildings and on the roofs of houses.
The Assistant Governor of Jenin, Mansour al-Saadi, said that the Zionist occupation caused massive destruction in the Jenin camp and forcibly displaced more than 20 thousand citizens.
The Director of the Palestinian Chamber of Commerce, Muhammad Kamil, stated that the city's market is completely closed, noting that the city has witnessed closures that exceeded 25 days since the beginning of this year, and that the occupation forces deliberately destroyed the infrastructure and the city's economy.
He added that the repeated raids by the Zionist occupation on the city of Jenin led to a decline in purchasing power, difficulty in transporting and distributing goods, and the arrival of shop owners to their shops, which affected all economic sectors within the city and its countryside, which amounted to about 1,400 shops.
According to Jenin mayor, Muhammad Jarar, the city has incurred economic losses exceeding $2 billion in infrastructure, buildings and shops, during the past three years, after being subjected to 104 continuous raids.
He noted that this aggression and evacuation is "the worst ever", and coincides with difficult economic conditions, and that what is happening in Jenin is a disaster on all levels, humanitarian represented by the displacement of 15,000 citizens in a small city like Jenin accompanied by very difficult economic conditions.
For the 22nd consecutive day, the Zionist enemy continues to demolish and burn citizens' homes in the camp, amidst intensive flying of drones. The Zionist occupation also destroyed the street leading to the purification station in Jenin and parts of it, while it continues to send military reinforcements accompanied by bulldozers to the city of Jenin and the surroundings of the camp.
The Zionist enemy's mechanisms continue to besiege Jenin Governmental Hospital after bulldozing its entrance and the main street leading to it.
For the twenty-first consecutive day, the hospital's departments suffer from a severe shortage of potable water, while the necessary hospital departments are operating at their minimum capacity due to the Zionist occupation's aggression.
Yesterday, the Zionist enemy forces burned an agricultural barn during their storming of the village of Al-Jadeeda, east of Jenin.
