Tarek El Moussa cited for battery following heated physical altercation in Las Vegas casino

Tarek's flip side. Tarek El Moussa was cited for battery after the 'Flip or Flop' alum allegedly knocked a man out in Las Vegas last week. The HGTV star and another male were involved in an altercation at the Palazzo at the Venetian Resort in Sin City on June 5, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed to Page Six Tuesday. Witnesses alleged to TMZ, who was the first to report the news, that they saw El Moussa, 43, deliver a knee to the man's head, which knocked him out cold. An onlooker claimed to the outlet the incident was 'bad,' adding that the guy looked seriously hurt. The alleged victim reportedly refused medical attention. A source told Page Six that El Moussa was 'protecting his elderly father' after the man allegedly got out of line with the real estate investor's dad. Cops arrived at the scene around 11 p.m. and took a crime report. Though they declined to arrest El Moussa, he was cited for battery. A rep for El Moussa did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. A few days ago, El Moussa's wife, Heather Rae Young, shared snaps from their family Vegas trip on Instagram. 'Not our average Vegas trip… ,' she captioned the post. 'Watched Tarek do his thing on stage (so proud!) and made it extra special by bringing our parents along for the ride.' 'We got to show them a glimpse behind the scenes — our world, our work, and of course, the glam. Grateful for these moments that we get to spend together. ,' the former 'Selling Sunset' star, 37, added. Young did not mention the altercation.

Tarek El Moussa Gets Public Show of Support From Wife Heather and Ex Christina Haack After Las Vegas Battery Incident

HGTV star Tarek El Moussa made a very poignant return to social media in the hours after he was involved in a physical fight in Las Vegas—sharing an emotional tribute to his teenage daughter, Taylor, in a joint post with his wife, Heather, and his former spouse, Christina Haack. The heartwarming post, featured a sweet image of the three 'Flip Off' stars posing alongside Taylor, 14—whom Tarek, 43, shares with Haack—as well as the former couple's second child, Brayden, 9. In the caption, the El Moussas and Haack urged the the teenager to learn from their past 'mistakes,' noting that they hope their own struggles help to lead her to a 'brighter future.' 'Taylor we are so proud of you and so excited for you to head into the next stage of your life. Our beautiful, smart, incredible, bright light we all love and adore you,' it read. 'We hope all the mistakes you've watched us make throughout your life help to guide you to a brighter future…. love you baby. High school here we come!' The post was shared just hours after it was reported that Tarek, who divorced Haack in 2018 and went on to wed Heather in 2021, had been involved in a physical altercation inside a Las Vegas resort. According to E! News, Tarek received a citation for battery after he was involved in the June 5 incident, which unnamed sources told the outlet had come about because the HGTV star was 'protecting his elderly father.' 'On June 5, 2025, LVMPD officers responded to a battery incident in the 3300 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard,' the local police department said in a statement. 'Two males were involved in a physical altercation resulting in one being cited.' It's understood that Heather, 37, was with her husband at the time of the incident, but that she played no role in the altercation, per TMZ. Tarek has yet to issue a statement about the incident; however, has contacted his spokesperson for comment. The joint post that the home-flipping pro shared is the latest indication of the strengthening bond between Tarek and his former spouse, Haack—whose relationship faced a very rocky patch after their acrimonious divorce and subsequent custody battle. However, after the duo signed on to appear together in their latest HGTV project, 'The Flip Off,' they went through a very public on-screen reconciliation, with Tarek offering his ex a great deal of support amid her breakup from Josh Hall. Haack and Hall's split came shortly after filming on the show had begun and was documented in great detail throughout the series, which was originally meant to feature the couple going head to head in a renovation battle against Haack and Tarek. However, after Haack and Hall announced that they had separated in July 2024, the latter was removed from the show. In the first episode, Haack was seen asking Tarek to come over to her Newport Beach, CA, house so she could speak 'in private,' before telling him that she and Hall had 'officially split up.' 'Things with Josh have been bad for a long time. Not just kind of bad. Like, bad,' she told him. 'And the kids literally asked me to leave. They told me he's not nice to me.' Weeks after the show began airing, Heather spoke exclusively to about the 'struggles' that she and Tarek had seen Haack and Hall going through, admitting that 'we kind of knew something was coming.' 'You definitely see some tension between them on camera and I would say like, after he left the show, [Christina] was much lighter. It seemed like she was happier and it made the show a lot more fun,' Heather explained. 'Whereas when he was involved, there was a lot more smack talking; and I know that she wasn't enjoying filming with him.' She went on to voice her support for Haack's new beau, Christopher Larocca, revealing that she and Tarek had already been on several double dates with the couple. 'We've gone to dinner with them a couple of times, and he's come to some kid things, and I'd say, so far I like him. I have nothing negative to say about him, and she seems happy,' Heather shared. Wale Confronts Kai Cenat For Not Recognizing Him At BET Awards, Social Media Reacts

Kai Cenat's rise in streaming has been accompanied by his ability to consistently keep the camera rolling, which creates its own set of problems and necessitates real-time problem-solving. The Gen Z whisperer was making his rounds before the BET Awards Monday night when he ran into Wale, but the only problem was that he didn't know who Wale was. In a video from yesterday afternoon, Cenat is seen walking through a parking lot when a man, later confirmed to be Wale, walks past him and gives him a dap. They have a brief interaction with Cenat, asking him about the Super Smash Bros game on his Nintendo Switch. After the friendly exchange, Cenat hops into the back of a truck, and his chat is immediately blowing up about his encounter with the D.C. rapper, but Cenat is bewildered. 'Wall-E, oh my god. That was crazy, the whole chat knows him,' Cenat says as he reads his phone. Someone in his entourage then corrects his pronunciation of his name, and tells him he's a rapper, even bringing up his Miguel-assisted hit 'Lotus Flower Bomb.' 'Oh word?' Cenat responds, clearly still having no idea who he is. Social media immediately harped on Cenat for not knowing who Wale is, and since it moves at the speed of light, Wale approached Cenat just hours later about the interaction. While on stream, Cenat is chopping it up with Snoop Dogg when Wale interjects. 'That sh-t making me look crazy right now, just letting you know. The exchange that we had in the hallway,' Wale says. 'They're running with it, but we'll talk later.' Cenat laughed it off and focused his attention back on Snoop, but we're sure this isn't the last we've seen of this situation. Wale has been making the media rounds lately, appearing on The Joe Budden Podcast and revealing to Billboard on the BET Awards red carpet that he has a new single with 4Batz coming this Friday, and the album will be released in a few weeks.
