Nosy Golden Retriever's Adorable Tantrum Over Sleeping Guests Is the Perfect Way to Start the Day
Having guests over can require some planning, a little shopping, and lots of cleaning, but for dogs, it's a dream come true! Outgoing pups who love attention thrive when friends and family come to visit, just like Tobi the Golden Retriever. He and his fur brother, Ace, are typically the most polite hosts, but some early morning shenanigans on July 22 nearly woke up their guests!
The dog's dad knew he had to capture the priceless moment on film when Tobi began throwing the most adorable tantrum over his sleeping guests. He was ready for them to wake up and start the day! The silly dog was more than willing to take matters into his own paws, even if he became his guests' new alarm clock.
But just wait until you see who his guests are!
Aww, what a sweet boy! His noises are too cute, even if he sounds more like a motorcycle than a dog. Tobi's sound effects would be an effective alarm clock to say the least, but not every house guest wants to be woken up with a drool and wet nose.
Tobi is so excited to start another day with his guests, but he's a bit offended that they're still asleep. Luckily, he found the perfect solution to that problem! Even so, there's no way his dad was letting him wake everyone up on his own accord."How will they know sun is up unless I am breathing over them?" One commenter asked. That's precisely what Tobi is thinking! He knows his services are needed on the other side of the guest room door, but his dad is there to remind him that patience is a virtue.
Fortunately for the nosy dog, his patience paid off beautifully once his friends woke up. Just wait until you see who they are!
That smile says it all! I've never seen such a happy dog before, but it's almost hard to believe that this was the same pup grumbling up a storm while everyone was asleep. Clearly, he's one social dog!
Needless to say, Tobi had a blast with his Yorkie and Labrador Retriever besties, though only time will tell if he'll ever live down this viral moment.

JKS Restaurants, Famed London Hospitality Group, Expands Stateside
Some of London's most acclaimed Indian food is making its way across the pond. JKS Restaurants announced on Wednesday, August 6 that the group will expand overseas with new outposts of two beloved Britain-born Indian concepts in New York and Las Vegas. This fall, The Ambassadors Clubhouse will open at the new A24 headquarters near Madison Square Park in New York City. Later this year, Gymkhana is set to open at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas Founded in 2008 by siblings Jyotin, Karam, and Sunaina Sethi, JKS operates 35 restaurants internationally — including Gymkhana, Ambassadors Clubhouse, Trishna, Brigadiers, Sabor, Kitchen Table, BiBi, Berenjak, Hoppers and Speedboat Bar. These projects will be their first in North America. 'We have had our sights set on the U.S. for the last ten years, wanting to make our entry with the right brands, in the right cities, at the right moment. Ambassadors Clubhouse and Gymkhana are expressions of who we are and we are excited to connect with a new community of guests," said Karam Sethi comments. "We join the market at a time when the interest in Indian cuisine and culture is growing rapidly, and we look forward to contributing to this momentum by raising greater awareness of regional Indian cuisine.' Once both restaurants are up and running, JKS also plans to launch Gymkhana Fine Foods, a premium range of at-home Indian cooking sauces and marinades, in the U.S. Here's what to expect from JKS' duo of new restaurants opening on each coast: Ambassadors Clubhouse New York Named in honor of the Sethi sibling's grandfather, a former Indian Ambassador, the interiors at Ambassadors Clubhouse will be inspired by his summer house in Dalhousie and the abandoned party mansions of Northern India. Details including carpet patterns, ceiling features, marquetry and inlay details will pay homage to the Ambassador's seasonal residence, aslong with original artwork from Punjabi artists. Punjabi music will play in the dining room for a lively atmosphere while guests enjoy the splendor of a bygone era in Punjab's opulent royal kitchens. To drink, the cocktail program will focus on tequila and mezcal blended with regional ingredients; large-format cocktails designed for tables to share, playful shots, and interactive service. The original Ambassadors Clubhouse opened in Mayfair, London in 2024 at 25 Heddon St. New York's Ambassadors Clubhouse is slated for fall 2025 at 1245 Broadway in Manhattan. Gymkhana Las Vegas This winter, Gymkhana will open at ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Currently the only classic Indian restaurant worldwide to hold two Michelin stars, Gymkhana is known of London's most sought-after dining destinations, by culinary enthusiasts and celebrities including the likes of Dua Lipa and David Beckham. Inspired by private clubs in India, Gymkhana Las Vegas plans to offer another level of exclusivity to the Strip. The Las Vegas menu will feature many of Gymkhana London's signature Indian dishes, broadly focusing on tandoori-grilled specialties, classic curries, fragrant biryanis and chaat-style sharing plates. New dishes exclusive to the Las Vegas location will also be offered. The bar will feature Indian-inspired cocktails, including regional punches served tableside, and an extensive gin and tonic selection. "The culinary landscape of Las Vegas is constantly evolving and with that, MGM Resorts is primed to change and adapt through a forward-thinking lens," said MGM Resorts Chief Content, Hospitality and Development Officer Ari Kastrati. 'We have witnessed Indian cuisine continue to grow in popularity in the United States and as hospitality leaders, along with the JKS family, felt now is the right time to bring Gymkhana to ARIA. We have incredible respect for the brand's culinary excellence and feel the restaurant will perfectly collide with the fun lifestyle experience the Las Vegas guest knows and loves.'

Shaq guarantees Cowboys win, risks Vegas walk of shame in Barkley's dress if Eagles triumph
Shaq could soon be spotted wearing Charles Barkley's infamous Weight Watchers dress outside his Las Vegas restaurant — if the Cowboys lose to the Eagles in their Week 1 NFL matchup. Yes, the massive NBA Hall of Famer – born Shaquille O'Neal – made the bold bet on "The Big Podcast With Shaq," which he co-hosts with Adam Lefkoe. He promised to wear the same dress Barkley donned in a 2012 Weight Watchers commercial — and not just anywhere, but in front of the NBA legend's Big Chicken restaurant at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. Shaq doubled down on the bet, even joking, "Hold on, hold on… with no underwear on." "We're winning this year," Shaq said. "I'm guaranteeing it." During the DraftKings-affiliated podcast, Shaq said he used to tell others as a youngster that former Cowboys defensive end Ed "Too Tall" Jones was his father. "That's why I like the Cowboys, and I don't ever switch up," Shaq said. "I'm not one of these guys that, you know, whatever team is hot, you switch up." Asked if he had lost his mind, Shaq replied: "No, I'm a man of my word." Shaq's bet comes at a time when the Eagles have enjoyed a strong run of success in recent years, highlighted by two Super Bowl victories in the last decade. On the other hand, the Cowboys, once the dominant force of the NFL with five Super Bowl titles — the last coming in January 1996 — have endured a frustrating stretch of limited success over the past 30 years. The team has never returned to the Super Bowl and have not reached the NFC Championship Game again.

Who's America's Favorite Couple? A Baltimore pair is in the running.
Couples all over the country, including a Baltimore pair, are vying for the title of "America's Favorite Couple." It's an online contest where the winning couple not only wins $20,000, but also will be featured in an in-print advertorial in Variety magazine. Devon Ojeda and Caius Willingham said their entry in the competition is about showing what being American truly is. Ojeda and Willingham first met as coworkers, but as they got to know each other better, they realized their working relationship should be something more. Ojeda described it as love at first sight. "We tried to deny it for a long time because we were colleagues, but it got to a point that you can't ignore the feelings," Willingham said. What got them to start thinking about dating, though, is when the two matched on eHarmony. "That was enough for Caius to break the ice," Ojeda said. After dating for a few years, the two eloped in New York City in May. Ever since then, Ojeda's been wanting to make their love known. "I just wanted to scream it out in the mountains, saying I have the best marriage ever. I had the most perfect day," Ojeda said. So, when Ojeda saw an ad for "America's Favorite Couple" contest, he applied, and the couple was accepted. The contest is put on by the fundraising platform Colossal. The contest is currently in its group finals stage, with three more rounds to go. At this point, Ojeda and Willingham have already made it through several rounds of voting. "We're hoping it influences people to create more joy for themselves. Right now, it's really important to be in community with people," Ojeda said. Ojeda and Willingham are transgender. Ojeda is also a naturalized citizen. For them, being in this contest is about showing they do represent what being an American is -- especially in light of President Trump's target on the transgender community and heightened immigration enforcement. "The most radical thing, the most radical act you can do right now is to be bold and be loud with your love," Ojeda said. But, most importantly, they want to show how love comes in every identity. "It's not just like a man and woman. A marriage can be anybody, and that's the American dream," Ojeda said. "We want a world where it doesn't matter who you are, love is still love." The latest round of voting ends Thursday at 10 p.m. You can vote for Ojeda and Willingham here. You can vote once for free every 24 hours, but you can also add more votes if you donate.
