It comes in line with the rules of the Legion of Honour.

The conservative politician, who was president from 2007 to 2012, has been at the heart of a series of legal cases since leaving office.
He was found guilty of corruption and influence peddling by both a Paris court in 2021 and an appeals court in 2023 for trying to bribe a magistrate in exchange for information about a legal case in which he was implicated.
He was sentenced to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet for one year, a verdict upheld by France's highest court, the Court of Cassation, in December.
Earlier this year, Sarkozy stood trial over allegations he received millions of dollars from Libya for his successful presidential campaign in 2007.
He denies the claims.
Prosecutors requested a seven-year prison sentence.
The verdict is expected in September.
Sarkozy becomes the second former head of state to be stripped of the Legion of Honour – France's highest distinction – after Nazi collaborator Philippe Petain, who was convicted in 1945 for treason and conspiring with the enemy for his actions as leader of Vichy France from 1940-1944.
Former cyclist Lance Armstrong also had his French Legion of Honour award revoked (Julien Behal/PA)
Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein was stripped of his Legion of Honour award in the wake of widespread sexual misconduct allegations against him in 2017.
Disgraced cyclist and former Tour de France star Lance Armstrong also had his French Legion of Honour award revoked.
Sarkozy retired from public life in 2017 though still plays an influential role in French conservative politics.

Starmer confident Trump will back Aukus pact after US launches review

Speaking to reporters ahead of the G7 summit in Canada, the Prime Minister said he did not have 'any doubt' that the agreement would progress. Speaking ahead of the G7 summit in Canada, the Prime Minister said he did not have 'any doubt' that the agreement would progress (Suzanne Plunkett/PA) The trilateral Aukus partnership, believed to be aimed at countering China, involves building a new fleet of nuclear-powered attack submarines and co-operating in other areas of defence. Australia would also get its first subs from the US under the deal. Asked what his message to the US president would be on the importance of the pact, Sir Keir, who is due to meet Mr Trump in Kananaskis next week, said: 'Aukus is really important. We're fully committed to it.' Sir Keir added it was 'not unusual for an incoming government to do a review of a project like that', and that Labour had done similar. 'We, of course, looked into the issue when we came into government.. But I'm 100% committed to it. I'm really clear about that.' Asked if he was confident Mr Trump would back it, he said: 'Yeah, I think so. It's a really important project. So I don't have any doubt that this will progress.' Confirming the review on Thursday, the White House said it wanted to make sure the pact was 'aligned with the president's America First agenda.'

First female chief to take reins of secret service MI6

Blaise Metreweli, a career intelligence officer who currently serves as director of technology at the organisation, will become the 18th chief in the organisation's 116-year history. She will take over from Sir Richard Moore, a senior civil servant who will step down in the autumn after five years in the role. Commonly referred to as C, the chief has operational responsibility for MI6, and is the only publicly named member of the organisation. Despite Dame Judi Dench playing M, the fictional head of the secret service in the James Bond films, there has never been a woman in charge of the organisation in real life. Earlier this year, Sir Richard, who was the first member of MI6 to openly use X, formerly Twitter, suggested a female candidate could replace him. 'We have yet to have a woman as chief so there's still a glass ceiling to shatter. #AccelerateAction,' he wrote in a post on the social media site. Ms Metreweli first joined the service as a case officer in 1999 and has carried out operational roles in the Middle East and Europe. In her new post, she will be accountable to the Foreign Secretary. Outgoing MI6 chief Richard Moore (Stefan Rousseau/PA) The Prime Minister said: 'The historic appointment of Blaise Metreweli comes at a time when the work of our intelligence services has never been more vital. 'The United Kingdom is facing threats on an unprecedented scale, be it aggressors who send their spy ships to our waters or hackers whose sophisticated cyber plots seek to disrupt our public services. 'I'd like to thank Sir Richard Moore for his dedicated service, and I know Blaise will continue to provide the excellent leadership needed to defend our county and keep our people safe – the foundation of my Plan for Change.' Foreign Secretary David Lammy said: 'I am delighted to appoint Blaise Metreweli as the next chief of MI6. 'With a wealth of experience from across our national security community, Blaise is the ideal candidate to lead MI6 into the future. 'At a time of global instability and emerging security threats, where technology is power and our adversaries are working ever closer together, Blaise will ensure the UK can tackle these challenges head on to keep Britain safe and secure at home and abroad. 'Every day, our intelligence services work behind the scenes to protect our national security and compete with our adversaries. 'That's why I am proud that we are investing an extra £600 million in our intelligence community so they can continue to defend our way of life. 'I would also like to pay tribute to Sir Richard Moore for his service and leadership. 'I have worked closely with him over the past year and thank him for his valuable contribution enhancing our national security and protecting the British public.' Ms Metreweli said: 'I am proud and honoured to be asked to lead my service. 'MI6 plays a vital role, with MI5 and GCHQ, in keeping the British people safe and promoting UK interests overseas. 'I look forward to continuing that work alongside the brave officers and agents of MI6 and our many international partners.' Outgoing chief Sir Richard said: 'I am absolutely delighted by this historic appointment of my colleague, Blaise Metreweli to succeed me as 'C'. 'Blaise is a highly accomplished intelligence officer and leader, and one of our foremost thinkers on technology. 'I am excited to welcome her as the first female head of MI6.'

'There are so many memories. We were typical brothers who would wrestle and throw in a couple of WWE finishers. 'On one of my last calls with him, he was looking for help with his invoices, and it finished up with him wanting to sue the taxman. I would have loved to have seen that in court. 'I have had a wonderful 19 years of being his older brother, and the next handful of years are not going to be easy. But we will never forget Cole.
