After teasing her upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl on Travis and Jason Kelce's podcast New Heights, we've learnt plenty of information and uncovered some interesting Easter eggs. Here is everything we know and what you can expect from the new album: This is Taylor Swift's 12th studio album, following her highly successful The Tortured Poets Department album released in April 2024. It will be released on October 3, 2025 – a symbolic date as it is the 3rd day of the 10th month, and 10 plus 3 is 13 which Swifties know is Taylor's favourite number. The album was written and recorded during the European leg of her Eras Tour. Swift said 'I would be playing shows, I'd do like three shows in a row, I'd have three days off, I'd fly to Sweden, go back on tour. And actually working on this I was physically exhausted at this point of the tour, but I was so mentally stimulated and so excited to be creating'. The album cover shows Swift bejewelled in mint green water with a shattered glass effect and the album title written in bold glittering orange. The vinyl disc is also orange.
